John Mellencamp wants to get back together with Meg Ryan

Last month, we were sadly forced to reveal that John Mellencamp and Meg Ryan had ended their three year relationship as living in different cities was taking its toll and they just weren’t getting to see enough of each other. However, John’s really not ready to give it up and would get back with Meg in a heartbeat because apparently she’s a pretty swell lady. From People: “I’m very happy with the time I’ve spent with Meg Ryan,” he told The Associated Press. “She’s a beautiful girl and I know that I will never, ever, ever be with a funnier girl than her. Not gonna happen. I’m grateful for the three and a half years we’ve been together.” So is it over? “Nothing’s over,” he said. “Nothing’s over. I never say die for anything. Do you ever quit on anything?” Okay, so that’s kinda sweet and adorable. I don’t know why I feel that way, but I do. Now I want them to get back together. Pick up the phone, Meg!! Make the call!!

George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are officially husband and wife!

That’s it, it’s official! George Clooney is officially off the market and is now Mr. Amal Alamuddin! The lavish ceremony was held yesterday at the seven-star Aman Canal Grande Hotel in Italy and it seems like it was truly an event to remember. Here’s the scoop from US Weekly: Saturday morning, guests were left to themselves before witnessing the pair exchange vows at the seven-star Aman Canal Grande hotel. They had the option to sip drinks downstairs, but were expected to make their way to the boats on time for the ceremony. After the pre-wedding celebrations, Clooney and his British lawyer love finally said “I do,” and received a big round of cheers around 8:45 p.m. Guests then feasted on lobster, lemon risotto, and fried polenta with mushrooms, and danced to hits from bands like Blondie, Jackson 5, Amy Winehouse, and Daft Punk. Everyone was given a code for their phones for security purposes, and were asked to leave their personal devices back in their hotel rooms. Cameras were supplied at the reception, which lasted well into the early morning. (Good thing Sunday brunch begins at 2 p.m. back at Cipriani!) Before heading home Sunday, guests will congratulate the newlyweds once more at a late dinner at the Granaries of the Republic. They won’t be packing up just their fancy attire from the night before, however. Clooney and Alamuddin gifted everyone with a framed picture of themselves. “We’re both so glad you’re here. You’ve come a long way so we’ll make it worth the trip,” a letter from the couple read. “Thanks for being here. It means the world to us.” So, basically either US Weekly is making shit up, or George and Amal had a wedding guest who can’t keep their friggin’ mouths shut. Like, what? Not even a day after the wedding and they already know what was in a private letter written to the guests by the couple? SMH. In any case, it sounds like a good time was had by all and a lot of hearts were broken now that the Silver Fox is off the market. Happy days!

George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are getting married today!

America’s Royal Wedding is finally here! That’s right, George Clooney and Amal Alamuddin are getting married today, and gossip rags across the world are falling over themselves to try to get as many blurry pics and “source” quotes as they can about the special event. Here’s one thing we do know: last night, there was a pre-wedding dinner with the happy couple as well as wedding guests, both family and friends and fellow celebrities. John Krasinski and Emily Blunt, Anna Wintour, Cindy Crawford and more were on hand for the night out in Venice, Italy, and it looks like they had a nice time. I’m sure we’ll be hearing TONS more on the big event in the coming hours/days/weeks, so hang on to your hats. It’s about to get crazy in here! Follow us on Twitter | Facebook

Chelsea Clinton welcomes a baby girl

Chelsea Clinton got married back in 2010 and earlier this year, she revealed that she and husband Marc Mezvinsky were expecting their first child together. That child is here, and it’s a little girl named Charlotte. Chelsea announced the news herself like all good celebrities do: via Twitter. Marc and I are full of love, awe and gratitude as we celebrate the birth of our daughter, Charlotte Clinton Mezvinsky. — Chelsea Clinton (@ChelseaClinton) September 27, 2014 Cute – that means Bill and Hillary are grandparents. I think I like that idea best of all. Congrats to the happy couple, anyway! Follow us on Twitter | Facebook
