Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher Welcome Second Child!

Congratulations are very much in order for Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher.

The beloved couple has welcomed its second child into the world!

Hooray! Huzzah! So totally awesome, right?

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher: Go Dodgers!

A representative for the actress and actor has confirmed that Kunis gave birth to a boy on November 30, although that is the only detail made known to the public at the moment.

We’ll let you know as soon as a name and/or any measurement intel is release.

The newborn joins two-year old sister Wyatt Isabelle as offspring of Kunis and Kutcher, who have done an admirable job of keeping their first child shielded from the spotlight.

Good luck finding photos of Wyatt anywhere online.

It’s almost as if Kunis and Kutcher care more about their little girl’s privacy and well-being than any attention or money they could earn off her existence.

Weird, right?

It’s safe to assume this will also be the case for the couple’s son.

Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher Selfie

But while we don’t know a great deal about their kids, we do know that Kunis and Kutcher positively adore parenthood.

“The one topic of conversation we had even prior to ever having kids was always, ‘How do you raise a child to not be an asshole?’ ” Kunis said in August, adding:

“It’s a matter of teaching them from a very early age that, you know, ‘Mommy and Daddy may have a dollar, but you’re poor.'”

There was also the time Kutcher appeared opposite Ellen DeGeneres and simply gushed over Kunis as a mother. And we mean GUSHED.

“She’s the greatest mom I can’t even… like I go to work every day and I come home and she’s like perfect. And it just seems like everything went amazing,” the actor said two years ago.

“And I know that something probably didn’t go amazing, but she never tells… it’s unbelievable. She’s incredible.”

Kutcher and Kunis have also drawn praise for not hiring a nanny to help child rear, a decision Kutcher explained in that same interview thusly:

“We just want to know our kid,. We want to be the people that know what to do when the baby’s crying to make the baby not cry anymore.

“We want to know, like when she makes a little face or something we want to be emotionally in touch with her and I think the only way to do that is by being the one who’s there.”

Such a simple way of putting it, and yet such a spot-on explanation.

Kunis and Kutcher got married in July of 2015, months after becoming first-time parents.

They confirmed that they were expecting again in June, with Kutcher spilling the gender beans during a chat this fall with Savanna Guthrie on NBC.

“I’m a little terrified to be honest,” Kutcher admitted to The Today Show host, smiling and confessing: “It’s intensely scary.”

Two kids instead of one? We’re sure it is. That’s, like, twice as many children as they had before. Talk about a challenge!

As for the name of their son?

Go ahead and take a guess.

As for photos of their son?

Do not go ahead and hold your breath awaiting some to be released. That would be a dangerous game to play.

Chris Hemsworth adorably bonds with his fellow administrative professionals

Chris Hemsworth adorably bonds with his fellow administrative professionals

Premiere Of Universal Pictures' "The Huntsman: Winter's War"

I know it’s belated, but happy administrative professionals day! I could never express my appreciation for all that you hard working folks do quite as adequately as Ellen DeGeneres did on Wednesday’s episode of Ellen, so I’m not even going to give it a go.

Apparently, one of the admins on the Warner Brothers lot is quite a fan of the Thor star (currently in The Huntsman: Winter’s War). Ellen, no stranger to the hidden camera gag, hooked the lucky lady up with the object of her cubicle dreams and the results were highly amusing. Check out the video below and enjoy the Edible Arrangement someone in your office got:

Chris, who plays the hunky secretary to the ladies of the upcoming Ghostbusters reboot, was awesome during this prank, don’t you think? I mean, look at how he expertly maneuvered around not only avoiding a naked massage, but an admin/Ellen threesome. What a great actor! And, if any of Ellen’s producers happen to read this, I’d love for Jon Hamm to stop by my office. Just saying.

Although the hunky Aussie has a prominent role in one of the most anticipated movies of the summer, he has jokingly made reference to the lack of Thor in the upcoming Avengers spin-off Captain America: Civil War. In a video on Walt Disney Studio’s Facebook page, the actor seemingly takes a moment out of his “workout” to address his character’s absence from the upcoming flick. He jokes, “You know it’s funny. Everybody keeps asking me: Are you Team Cap? Are you Team Iron Man? Who cares? I mean, where was the invite for me and Hulk? Just leave the two strongest, biggest Avengers out of this one, did you?”

Is it just me, or does anyone else think the Ghostbusters reboot may fare better than Civil War? I love me some Robert Downey Jr., but Chris is making me miss Thor. I think Chris will do just fine in Ghostbusters though, he’s gotten nothing but chuckles from the audiences I’ve sat through the trailer with. If nothing else, he certainly increased the number of resumes going into Warner Brothers for administrative staff!

Garry Shandling has passed away at the age of 66

Garry Shandling

Garry Shandling passed away on Thursday, March 24, in Los Angeles at just 66 years old. Shandling was one of the most beloved and influential comedians of his generation, with a dry, deadpan wit and a penchant for observational humor. He was well-regarded, respected and adored within the acting and comedic communities. He was most famous for his two popular and Emmy-winning shows, The Larry Sanders Show (where he played a late-night talk show host) and the It’s Garry Shandling’s Show. You can see his IMDB here. I had actually forgotten that he was still getting acting work – he’s been in a handful of Marvel movies over the past few years.

Shandling had recently been diagnosed with a hyper parathyroid gland, which he discussed on his last episode of Jerry Seinfeld’s Comedians In Cars Getting Coffee. He apparently collapsed at his LA home on Thursday, then he was rushed to the hospital, which is where he passed away. Many are talking about Shandling’s appearance on that Seinfeld show – it’s an episode called “Isn’t It Great That Garry Shandling Is Still Alive” and you can watch it here.

Twitter and the late-night shows were full of tributes to Shandling. Here are just a few along. RIP Garry Shandling and thank you for all the laughs.

Sarah Palin appeared on ‘Today’ and her crazy word salad was epic

palin2

As we covered yesterday, Sarah Palin jump-started some kind of insane and stupid fight with PETA because she posted some Facebook photos of her son Trig standing on their dog, Jill Hadassah. The controversy wasn’t limited to PETA, by the way. People commented on Palin’s Facebook page, and all of the internet, basically saying that parents should teach their children that it’s not okay to stand on animals. PETA did make a statement, basically saying the same thing. Which led to a magnificent word salad Facebook post from Palin, attacking PETA. This is the dumbest controversy, and Sarah Palin is milking it for everything. I guess she wanted some attention? In any case, Palin scored an invite to spew her brand of crazy on the Today Show this morning. Here’s the video:

Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Sarah Palin’s still got a bone to pick with PETA. The Fox News contributor lashed out at the animal rights group yet again Tuesday on Today, beginning by reiterating “there was no harm at all” done to dog Jill Hadassah when 6-year-old Trig stood on the pup’s back.

The labrador retriever is “a strong, trained dog,” said Palin, noting that the service canine “really, really love(s)” her Trig, who has Down syndrome. She explained Monday in a statement to NBC News that Jill “was born and trained [by the Puppy Jake Foundation] to help those with challenges most of us will never understand”—like those faced by her special needs son.

The former governor of Alaska pointed out once again that Ellen DeGeneres, PETA’s Woman of the Year in 2009, posted a similar picture of a young child standing on a dog. “The outcry there was ‘oohs’ and ‘has’ and [that’s] sweet,” Palin said. She also took issue with New York City mayor Bill de Blasio, PETA’s Man of the Year for 2014. “He had just—doggone it!—he killed a groundhog when he dropped it last year on Groundhog Day!”

“It’s absolutely hypocritical that [PETA’s] double standards apply to, I don’t know, perhaps a constitutional conservative,” Palin added.

When asked whether mentioning that President Barack Obama admitted to having eaten dog as a child was a “cheap shot,” Palin replied emphatically, “Heck no…President Obama, too many of the far left radicals who are part of the PETA, they look at him as, I don’t know, their messiah! I think he as a child, probably the same age as Trig, did much worse than just use the dog as a stepping stool.”

Palin, who said said she agrees with “what I hope is the true meaning of [PETA’s] mission—respecting God’s creation and critters,” was asked whether she’d consider “smok(ing) the peace pipe” with the organization. This got a laugh out of the mom of five, who said she didn’t think most PETA members “would put up with what I believe in,” including practices like hunting and eating meat.

“But, I believe there would be mutual respect and support if we can both agree that, yeah, God’s creation here is really precious, very sacred and we should do all we can to conserve,” she said.

[From E! News]

“It’s absolutely hypocritical that their double standards apply to, I don’t know, perhaps a constitutional conservative.” ??? Girl, is your word salad being written by Joel and Ethan Coen?! She had to drag Bill de Blasio into it, and every other liberal dog-stander, groundhog killer and animal-eater. This whole thing makes no sense, but maybe I’m the crazy one because I’m looking for logic in an Sarah Palin interview. She’s just trying to get some attention.

Ryan Gosling & Eva Mendes are ‘barely talking… Eva has pushed him away’

eva1

OK Magazine says Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes are pretty much over. I know what you’re thinking: “OK Magazine? RLY?” But hear me out! OK Magazine was actually the first weekly to confirm Eva’s pregnancy over the summer. Star, Us Weekly and People Magazine actually raced to get to second place on that particular piece of reporting. Which says to me that OK Magazine might actually have a source close to Eva or Ryan. I know that makes no sense, but weirder things have happened. Anyway, OK Mag’s sources say that three months after giving birth to Esmeralda, Eva doesn’t even want to be around Ryan anymore.

They welcomed their daughter Esmeralda Amada three months ago but it seems the pressure of being new parents may be too much for Ryan Gosling and Eva Mendes. OK! Magazine reported Monday the couple have been living separate lives recently. The 40-year-old actress has been struggling at home in Los Angeles with the baby while her 34-year-old actor boyfriend has been filming The Nice Guys for extended periods in Georgia, it was claimed.

The publication was first to report that the brunette was expecting a child with her Beyond The Pines co-star. Neither of their reps had any comment when contacted by MailOnline.

A source told the publication: ‘It’s more than just run-of-the-mill stress that comes with having a newborn. They’re barely talking.’ The source added, ‘Eva has pushed him away.’

Eva reportedly refused to fly to Atlanta with their young daughter to spend time with Ryan. An insider told OK!, ‘So instead of coming home every night to them, he’s jetting back and forth just so he can see his daughter.’

The couple, who started dating in 2011 after filming A Place Beyond The Pines together, welcomed baby Esmeralda on September 12. And the actress has made no secret of how fatigued she has been with her newborn, revealing to Ellen DeGeneres, ‘I’m so incredibly tired.’

The couple kept a very low profile during the pregnancy and haven’t been pictured out together in public for over a year. Eva has only been seen out and about once since the birth – in November – and there are claims that Ryan is worried she is becoming a recluse.

An insider told OK!: ‘The last time Ryan was in LA, he told her that she and Esmeralda needed to get outside for some fresh air, but she just wouldn’t listen.’

And if the couple do decide to part ways, it’s claimed that Eva would fight for full custody, with an insider saying, ‘Eva has been the primary, hands-on parent with Ryan away working so much, so she believes full custody is warranted.’

[From The Daily Mail]

I remember this Radar story from when Eva was still pregnant – a source insisted that the pregnancy was unplanned, and that Ryan and Eva had actually been going through a breakup and makeup cycle when she got pregnant and Ryan was “surprised.” The source also insisted that Eva desperately wanted to marry Ryan and he wasn’t into it. I don’t really know what to believe, but I’ve always thought they were a weird, mismatched couple and it wouldn’t surprise me if the pregnancy was a “surprise” during a breakup, and it also wouldn’t surprise me if SURPRISE, a baby isn’t enough to hold Ryan and Eva together forever. Or even one more year.

Are you buying The Poor, Bullied Anne Hathaway Campaign of 2014?

FFN_Hathaway_Anne_EXC_TERO_110414_51576329

I covered most of the nonsense that went down with Anne Hathaway back in late 2012 and early 2013, the height of her Oscar campaign for Les Miserables. I remember how harsh people were about all things Annie, and I remember defending her… sometimes. To be fair to Annie, she’s not the first person to oversee an overzealous Oscar campaign and she’s not the first person to oversaturate the media with too many interviews, too many magazine covers, too many photo-ops, too much twee-ness (coughNataliePortmancough). To be fair to the media, Anne WAS overzealous, annoying and much, much too cloying and needy. It was like everyone forgot that, oh right, she’s actually an A-list actress with a great deal of talent. Even Annie forgot. Was the coverage of her at times overblown, rude and “bullying”? Yes, it was. But I do think there’s a difference in “bullying” coverage and coverage that was basically like “please settle down, girl, you’re embarrassing yourself.”

I bring this all up because Annie is promoting Interstellar, and she keeps speaking of that moment in her life. To hear Annie tells it, the Hathahate was like being punched and slapped. When Anne sat down with Ellen DeGeneres this week, Ellen was really nice to her and Ellen referred to what happened as “cyberbullying.” Agree or disagree? Eh. You can see the video here. Here’s what went down:

Through hate, Anne Hathaway learned to love. The actress, 31, appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show Thursday, where she opened up about the backlash she suffered after winning Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in Les Misérables.

“For whatever reason—and it’s a small group, trust me—[cyber bullies are] loud because I went through this,” host Ellen DeGeneres told her guest sympathetically. “And voices that don’t like you and say mean things really stick with you for some reason, more than voices that say, ‘You’re great!’ So, when that was going on after the Oscars, which you should have been celebrating—you won an Oscar!—and then all the sudden…Explain how you accidentally Googled something and this is what you found.”

Hathaway, a Hollywood veteran, said she “had gotten out of the habit of Googling myself because that’s just a bad idea to ever do that.” But in a rare instance, she said, “My friends and I had an idea for Funny or Die and we wanted to do something on celebrity pregnancy rumors, so we just Googled pregnancy rumors and the story came up. The title of it was ‘Why Does Everyone Hate Anne Hathaway?’”

The audience gasped, to which she said, “It’s really OK. It has a happy ending. Life continues.”

“Yes, but I know what that feels like and I think when people write things like that or say things like that it is cyber bullying,” DeGeneres told Hathaway. “How did you deal with all that?”

“Well, I listened at first. I couldn’t help it, you know? And you try to shut it off and I couldn’t, and then I realized why I couldn’t was I hadn’t learned to love myself yet. I hadn’t gotten there. And if you don’t love yourself when someone else says horrible thing to you part of you is always going to believe them,” she said. “So, then I was like, ‘OK, I don’t want to believe these people. I don’t want to agree with them on any level. And I want to figure out who I am. I want to learn who I am. I don’t want to feel like I’m fragile every time I leave the house because I’m so dependent on what other people think about me. So, I just took a step back, and as Matthew McConaughey, my co-star in Interstellar, would say, ‘I just kept living.’ And, it’s been a really cool journey,” Hathaway said. “I feel like I arrived in a place where maybe not every minute of every day, but way more than I used to, I have a tremendous amount of love and compassion for everyone else—and best of all I have it for myself, which I never enjoyed before.”

DeGeneres then offered the actress more support, saying, “There’s a great phrase: ‘What you think of me is none of my business.’ And there’s nothing wrong with being fragile. I think it’s a beautiful thing.”

[From E! News]

I too think it’s okay to be fragile and for a person to acknowledge that they’ve been hurt by certain comments. But I don’t care for the way Anne is allowing herself to be infantilized by this – she wasn’t some little girl done in by dastardly bullies, nor was she physically assaulted or damaged in any profound way. She was a grown woman flashing her Oscar Biscuit at the premiere of Les Mis and throwing hissy fits when she didn’t get her perfect Oscar dress and some people on the Internet said mean things about her. That’s it. I do agree that Annie probably didn’t “love herself” enough to ignore the haters, but… I don’t know. I’m not really feeling this whole Poor Bullied Annie Hathaway Campaign of 2014.
