Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper are through as friends!

Kathy Griffin, the comedian that made headlines in June after she was featured in a photo holding a bloodied mask that resembled President Trump, said in an interview that she is no longer friends with her former New Year’s Eve co-host, Anderson Cooper. Griffin told The Cut that when Cooper eventually reached out to her, she informed him that their friendship was over. Griffin was apparently upset about Cooper’s initial response to the photo controversy. The CNN anchor said, “For the record, I am appalled by the photo shoot Kathy Griffin took part in. It is clearly disgusting and completely inappropriate.” Griffin told the magazine that she was upset that Cooper did not reach out to her before commenting publically. Griffin, meanwhile, is attempting to relaunch her career after being marred by the photo controversy. She came out hours later acknowledging she “went too far” and apologizing for the disturbing image, but the damage was done. Several theaters canceled performances with Griffin citing the controversy. CNN announced it would be ending its relationship with the star, who hosts its New Year’s Eve program. Her co-host, Anderson Cooper, also said he was “appalled” by the photoshoot. Trump and first lady Melania Trump also released statements condemning the attack on their family. Trump added the picture took a toll on his 11-year-old son Barron as the first lady questioned Griffin’s mental health. Griffin later accused the Trump family of systematically “mobilizing their armies” against her. “I don’t think I’ll have a career after this. I’m going to be honest, he broke me,” Griffin said in a news conference. The post Kathy Griffin and Anderson Cooper are through as friends! appeared first on Today's Evil Beet Gossip.

90210 Star re-elected as SAG President in a landslide

Best known as Andrea Zuckerman, the school paper editor on Beverly Hills 90210, Gabrielle Carteris was re-elected as president of the SAG-AFTRA. Better known as the actors guild.  The union that makes sure actors have health insurance, safe work environments and other umbrella issues in the work force. Results were announced Thursday evening by the performers union, which sent out about 144,000 ballots to members with 28,988 voting. Carteris, who was named by the national board last year to replace Ken Howard, fended off spirited challenges from national board member Esai Morales, stuntman Pete Antico, and independents Robert B. Martin, Jr. and Marilyn Monrovia. Carteris received 14,674 votes, with Morales receiving 8,145 votes and Antico taking 4,114 votes. Martin received  1,207 votes and Monrovia took 715. Austin also had an easy victory with 15,312 votes while challengers Jason George received 10,953 votes and Chuck Slavin received 2,248 votes.  The campaign for the presidency was particularly acrimonious with allegations of election fraud, mishandling of the recent contract negotiations, and issues arising from the 2012 SAG-AFTRA merger and the 2000 commercials strike. Mayweather-McGregor Fight Could Pull $700m

On Saturday night, a pay-per-view event stands to score an estimated U.S. take of $500M-plus. If it were a movie, that figure easily would land in the list of 10 top-grossing films of all time. The boxing match between the undefeated, five-division, 11-time world boxing champ Floyd Mayweather Jr., 40, and Irish UFC lightweight champ Conor McGregor, 29, aka “The Money Fight,”  will air live from the 20K-seat T-Mobile arena in Paradise, NV. That PPV revenue projection is based off the $99.95 rental fee and easily will eclipse the $460M of the 2015 Floyd Mayweather-Manny Pacquiao bout. Worldwide, Saturday’s fight is forecasted to generate $700M to the 2015 match’s $600M.  Uber-aggressive estimates even are predicting $1 billion worldwide. Reported estimated venue ticket sales for Mayweather-McGregor are expected to near $90M, besting the $72M made by Mayweather-Pacquiao. The largest number of ticket sales for any UFC fight featuring McGregor amounted to just under $18M, and that was November’s UFC 205 in New York, when McGregor defeated Eddie Alvarez to win the lightweight belt. The Super Strange Photoshopping of Vacation

Illustrator James Nathaniel makes some of the strangest photoshopped images I’ve ever seen. Adorably, uniquely, uncomfortably and not unseeably strange. “I like to make me and my friends into kids by making our heads bigger in photos,” writes Nathaniel, an illustrator from Bristol, England, who recently took a trip to the South of France with his squad. In a side-splitting Imgur album, which has gone viral with more than 5 thousand upvotes. I love that the friends even appear to be in childlike poses. WORLDS Top-earning Actors of 2017

Markie Mark is officially Richie Rich: The former rapper-turned-actor is Hollywood’s highest-paid leading man, earning $68 million pretax in our 12 month scoring period. The Boston native recorded his highest-ever payday thanks to soaring fees for movies such as Transformers: The Last Knight and the forthcoming Daddy’s Home 2. The former may have scored a miserable 15% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and the lowest gross of the franchise to date, but Wahlberg need not worry–fixed compensation means he benefits even when movies don’t do well. The list might surprise some as it goes on.  A few Bollywood stars grace the list and it’s been a good year for muscle heads.  Still, no women broke the top 20. Guess once Juliet and Sandra slowed their role, so did the big gigs. 20. Mark Ruffalo, $13 million 19. Chris Pratt, $18 million 18. Chris Evans, $18 million 17. Jeremy Renner, $19 million 16. Kanye West working on top secret project

Page Six is reporting Kanye West and pal Kid Cudi are working on something top secret in Japan. The two share more than a love of music.  Both spent time in medical facilities recently for mental health issues. West — who’s been keeping a low profile since his breakdown last year — has been holed up in a studio with Cudi, who checked himself into rehab last fall for “depression and suicidal urges.” At around the same time, West was hospitalized for a reported “nervous breakdown.” According to a source, the new project is so secret, “they’re going to drop some crazy collaboration out of the blue,” an insider told us. “They’re going to drop some surprise project on everybody. They’re recording it now.” They’re keeping the lid so tight that “nobody knows what it is — or what it sounds like .?.?. There are no professionals in the room. It’s just Cudi, Kanye and an engineer. They’re recording together in Japan.” West and Cudi were in an infamous rap feud last year when Cudi — who’d already left Kanye’s G.O.O.D. Music record label — dissed West on Twitter, and West responded on his “Saint Pablo” tour by saying, “I birthed you .?.?. I’m so hurt. I feel so disrespected. Kid Cudi, we’re two black men in a racist world.” But West later said, “Kid Cudi is my brother .?.?. The most influential artist of the past 10 years.” A source close to West explained that the duo’s feud “went away pretty quickly. It was likely something that was lingering, but not as serious as it seemed. Kanye’s always airing out whatever he’s thinking onstage, but they’ve always been close.” Buzz of a collaboration began in July, when the rappers were spotted together in LA with Plain Pat, who has managed and produced for both artists. Artist Takashi Murakami posted a photo of the duo visiting his studio last week. “They’re rolling together all over,” said a hip-hop source. In May, Page Six reported that West was recording on a remote Wyoming mountain to find his “creative groove.” He’s also been seen hitting the studio with rap group Migos.   Cudi just announced 27 dates for his own upcoming tour.
