Dustin Hoffman selling 1949 Buick from ‘Rainman’

How did I forget all about the amazing movie ‘Rainman’??? This is what not flipping through channels has done to me. I never see old movies anymore.

In the iconic film starring Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise, brothers Charlie Babbitt (Cruise) and his autistic brother Raymond (Hoffman) make a cross country trip from Cincinnati to Los Angeles to claim an inheritance left to them.

The car has been refered to as the third character in the film.  Dustin Hoffman aquired the car after the movie was filmed and has since stored it somewhere in LA.  But now he feels the car should be ‘driven, enjoyed, and cherished’.

The vehicle will feature at the Bonhams Scottsdale Auction, in Arizona, on January 27. It’s thought it could bring in as much as $250,000.

Cardi B to cover funeral costs for 17 Bronx fire victims

Cardi B has always been a class act in a spunky loud body.  Now she’s showing just how generous she really is.

A horrific fire lit up the Bronx back on January 9th that ended up killing 17 people in the cities worst fire in over 30 years.

“I cannot begin to imagine the pain and anguish that the families of the victims are experiencing, but I hope that not having to worry about the costs associated with burying their loved ones will help as they move forward and heal,” she said in a statement.

“I send my prayers and condolences to everyone affected by this horrific tragedy.”

But thoughts and prayers weren’t enough and she knew it.  Cardi immediately called the Mayor to see what she could do.

Mayor Eric Adams announced Cardi B would cover the costs, including repatriation costs for victims whose remains would be sent for burial to The Gambia, through the Mayor’s Fund, which had been collecting donations for affected families in a press release Wednesday.

Just a really magnanimous human being who often quietly pays peoples rent or school loans just because it’s the right thing to do.  We love you, Cardi.

“This is a title that we imagine could live on the spine of a book next to J.R.R. Payne & Patrick McKay. “Until now, audiences have only seen on-screen the story of the One Ring – but before there was one, there were many… and we’re excited to share the epic story of them all.”

Amy Schumer is sharing her lipo results for a reason

Funny lady Amy Schumer has always had issues with weight, but more importantly, she’s always had issues with pain and discomfort and that turned out to be from endometriosis.

The condition is serious enough that it led to the removal of her uterus and her appendix.

Couple that with having a child two years ago and Amy decided, for her health and own self satisfaction, that she would get liposuction to help remove some of the fat she was struggling to lose.

In an instagram post she admitted; “Turning 40 all my surgeries I want to feel the best I can about myself,” she wrote. “I got lipo and I had a great experience doing that. I used to be really [judgmental] about people getting work done. Now I’m like, do everything you can to love yourself exactly as you are but once you turn 40 and have a c section do whatever the f—k will make you feel best!”

Now on her most recent IG post she says she’s down to 170 and feels better than she has in ages.

“All my lifelong pain explained and lifted out of my body,” she said in an audio recording posted on her Instagram. “I am already a changed person.”

‘Moon Knight’ Star, Dies at 37 After Ski Accident

Saint Laurent (2014), in which he played fashion designed Yves Saint Laurent

French actor Gaspard Ulliel was mostly unknown to Americans, but not for long.  He would have hit the red carpet for the upcoming Marvel series ‘Moon Knight’.  Now he’s died at the young age of 37.

The star, who gained international attention for his portrayal of a young Hannibal Lecter in Hannibal Rising, was hospitalized Tuesday after a skiing accident in the Alps.

The father-of-one was not wearing a helmet when he crashed into another skier at the intersection of two blue slopes in the Rosiere resort in Savoie.

Ulliel suffered significant head trauma and was immediately hospitalised in Grenoble where he died as a result of his injuries.

The second skier in the crash did not suffer any major injuries and investigators said the weather conditions at the time were good.

Ulliel won a Cesar – the French equivalent of an Oscar – for best actor in 2017 for It’s Only the End of the World in which he starred alongside Marion Cotillard and Lea Seydoux.
