The full story from Daily Mail: The 31-year-old Girls star was filming the StyleLikeU’s video series, The What’s Underneath Project, when she discussed her seven-year marriage, admitting that she and ex husband Michael ‘couldn’t be more different’. As part of the series, participants are asked to strip down to show that style is really about being comfortable in your own skin, and during the candid interview Jemima revealed the she real reason she cut her trademark long blond hair was because of troubles with Michael. ‘I cut my hair because I felt like my hair was really one of the only things that made me feel pretty,’ she explained. ‘I felt like my hair was my go-to trick. I really believed for a while that without it I would be boring. ‘I was having a terrible moment with my husband in our relationship and I was extremely hurt by him and extremely angry at him and so I was feeling self-destructive.’ Instead of doing something truly self-destructive, Jemima said she ended up just cutting her hair, and it was actually Michael who gave her an even shorter ‘do a couple weeks after their fight. ‘I said I wanted to go shorter and he said “I’ll do it” and he cut it. It was really nice,’ she added. ‘It was kind of romantic. A while ago, we ran a story about 30 year-old singer Chloe Lattanzi and her issues with being called ‘stupid’ because of her looks – particularly her big boobs. This week, Chloe is back and she’s here to talk about her past struggles with anorexia and body dysmorphia. On her anorexia and body dysmorphia: After my parents divorce I went through this chubby phase. I would eat to comfort myself. I would see comments in magazines about how I was chubby. Around 16 I started to restrict food… along with the anorexia came OCD and depression. I didn’t have a clear sense of myself so I had my lips pumped up… I looked ridiculous. I got into using drugs and alcohol. I would read in the tabloids I was this alcoholic crazy disappointment. That really hit hard. I was at my lowest. Funnily enough I met the love of my life at the darkest time of my life. I still have my battles today. When I read these things that they say – having big breasts, not being thin enough, it’s like you can’t win no matter what you do. On the fact that she’s never had plastic surgery: There was rumors that I’ve had like work done, like plastic surgery on my face. Like I really haven’t. When I was in the height of my body dysmorphia I had a whole bunch of fillers. I’ve had all that removed from my face because I like the way I look naturally. On the constant struggle with her insecurities: I look back at myself as a teenager and I’m like ‘what a beautiful young woman, what was I thinking, why was I so secure?’ So many young girls are going through body dysmorphia. We’re constantly told how we’re supposed to look via Instagram and filters and there’s constant pressure for us to look person. … says Chloe. @robertlynden best shoot ever! I love you! Gigi Hadid has transformed herself in the past years from a bubbly and more athletic-looking model that mostly did sexy photo-shoots to a high-fashion, much skinnier model. And this week, the blonde beauty opened up about her runway walk and how it definitely needs work. On her career as a runway model: Before I started modeling, I was more into photographers. I studied a lot how models made pictures in the sense that you have to be a positive part of a picture and make it better. And that’s what is really important for me on set. There’s some people that are bad at looking at monitors and some people that are good looking at monitors. And monitors really help me because I’m able to look at a picture and see where I fit into it, see what I can add to the picture instead of just being a person that’s on the page. “But the runway thing, it’s funny because obviously I’m not the best on the runway. But what do you do? When you’re the face of a brand you show up to the show. My first show people were already expecting a lot more from me than I [was capable of at the time]. I never was taught how to walk on the runway. And maybe that’s because it moved really quickly for me, that people just assumed that that was something I knew. So, you know, a year and a half later, I’m still learning. I got some compliments on my Tom Ford show, so I’m getting better. I’m working on it, but I’m human. I still get insecure on the runway, but it’s really exciting for me because I want to get better. I love being on the runway. … says Gigi. People’s response?
