JD Vance: We’re cracking down on leftist groups after Charlie Kirk’s murder

Tyler Robinson is currently under arrest and in custody in Utah for the murder of Charlie Kirk. Reportedly, Robinson’s father turned him in. Reportedly, Robinson’s family is all MAGA, all ultra-conservative and Trump-supporters through and through, and they’re also huge gun nuts. Robinson, a 22-year-old white Mormon, is not cooperating with authorities. Currently, various law enforcement agencies are going through Robinson’s extensive digital footprint and WaPo even says that Robinson likely confessed to the Kirk murder online.

Of course, I’ve seen some theories online that while law enforcement believes that Robinson is absolutely the shooter, they’re trying to ruin the case against him because they’re mad that they can’t blame Kirk’s death on leftists or Democrats or marginalized communities. They want to use Kirk’s death as a “Reichstag fire” to completely destroy liberal groups, free speech and more. This is not even a conspiracy at this point – both JD Vance and Stephen Miller are speaking about this openly now.

President Trump and his top advisers threatened on Monday to unleash the power of the federal government to punish what they alleged was a left-wing network that funds and incites violence, seizing on Charlie Kirk’s killing to make broad and unsubstantiated claims about their political opponents.

Investigators were still working to identify a motive in the death of Mr. Kirk, a prominent conservative activist who was shot last week in Utah. The Republican governor of Utah, Spencer Cox, has said that the suspect had a “leftist ideology” and that he acted alone. But Mr. Trump and his top allies suggested that the suspect was part of a coordinated movement that was fomenting violence against conservatives, without presenting evidence that such a network existed. America has seen a wave of violence across the political spectrum, targeting Democrats and Republicans.

Two senior administration officials, who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe internal planning, said that cabinet secretaries and federal department heads were working to identify organizations that funded or supported violence against conservatives.

The goal, they said, was to categorize as domestic terrorism left-wing activity that they said led to violence, a continuation of existing efforts by federal agencies to try to punish liberal groups they have accused of funding or otherwise supporting violent protests. One tactic has been to target the tax-exempt status of nonprofits that are critical of Mr. Trump or conservatives.

Several other officials, from Vice President JD Vance on down, made it clear on Monday that they believed that political violence was a liberal problem and not a conservative one. They used Mr. Kirk’s podcast, with Mr. Vance as guest host, to announce that they would be cracking down on what they called leftist nongovernmental organizations, and that they would use every available lever of the federal government to do so.

“With God as my witness, we are going to use every resource we have at the Department of Justice, Homeland Security and throughout this government to identify, disrupt, eliminate and destroy this network and make America safe again for the American people,” said Stephen Miller, the president’s top policy adviser.

From his office at the White House, Mr. Vance invited other senior members of the administration to praise Mr. Kirk and decry the “far left.” The show was broadcast on the television screens in the White House briefing room and in several West Wing offices. And while he acknowledged that “our side of the aisle certainly has its crazies,” Mr. Vance placed the blame for most political violence on “proud members of the far left.”

[From The NY Times]

So… this is the game plan: they’re going to lie about Tyler Robinson’s motives and pretend that he was radicalized by the far-left, up until the point where he either plays ball or the case against Robinson collapses entirely. In the meantime, they’ll ignore the realities of Kirk’s death – that it was an internecine issue within the extremist right-wing – and do a “crackdown” on groups which, like, work to register new voters.

A heckler called JD Vance a ‘couch f–ker’ at a stunt in DC’s Union Station

Washington DC is still being overrun by National Guardsmen and federal agents, and it’s just as pathetic and horrible as anyone can imagine. Apparently, the federal takeover of DC is crushing local businesses, especially bars, restaurants and anyone dealing with the tourist economy. Washington is being occupied by federal forces and no one feels safe at all. None of this is good from an optics perspective either – a huge show of force in an American city reeks of Trump’s thin-skinned weakness and small flaccid energy. Speaking of, Stephen Miller, JD Vance and the alcoholic predator/Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth decided to “treat” National Guardsmen to a meal at Shake Shack in Union Station. They were protested and heckled, and someone shouted, “oh look, it’s the couch f–ker!”

Well done to that guy, and to all of the protesters and hecklers. What Miller, Vance and Hegseth were doing was actually frightening though. They basically went outside, begged protestors to do something, and then used those protests to justify the hostile takeover and occupation of our nation’s capital. Miller’s rant (below) made my skin crawl. He looks, sounds and acts like a man who murders people in his spare time. I feel so bad for Washingtonians – stay strong and watch your backs.

Stephen Miller: “All these demonstrators that you’ve seen out here in recent days, all these elderly white hippies, they’re not part of the city and never have been … we’re gonna ignore these stupid white hippies that all need to go home and take a nap because they’re all over… pic.twitter.com/v7Bj4pfEPW

An upscale pub’s staffers staged a mutiny over JD Vance’s attempt to get a reservation

JD Vance, aka the Idiot Abroad, aka the Ugly American, is still in Cotswolds, England. He’s halfway through a month-long “vacation” in a gargantuan manor house nestled in the scenic English countryside. He’s there with his wife, three kids and what sounds like hundreds of Secret Service agents. The Secret Service has caused chaos everywhere, and locals are completely done with Vance, if not Americans entirely. Allegedly, Secret Service agents are actually going door-to-door in the neighborhood to question people about their social media. I hope every single one of those people immediately began downloading and disseminating fat-face Vance memes. In any case, at least one local restaurant is fighting back. Apparently, Vance tried to score a reservation at an upscale pub, only the restaurant staff said “absolutely NOT.”

A staff mutiny forced the management of a plush British countryside pub to turn away JD Vance, just weeks after the same venue hosted Kamala Harris, according to reports. The vice president had reportedly attempted to dine at The Bull in Charlbury, Oxfordshire, an early 16th-century countryside pub with a Michelin Bib Gourmand, a prestigious award from the Michelin Guide that highlights restaurants offering excellent food at moderate prices.

However, the staff reportedly staged a mutiny, telling management that they wouldn’t show up to work if the venue accepted Vance’s dinner booking, according to a Popb—- newsletter from Thursday.

The rejection is all the more embarrassing considering that former vice president turned presidential hopeful, Kamala Harris, dined there just weeks before, as part of the pre-wedding dinner for Steve Jobs’ daughter, Eve. She married Harry Charles, a 26-year-old British Olympic equestrian, in the Cotswolds, a sprawling area of natural beauty in south-west England, at the end of July.

“It’s been the talk of the village-it’s the most exciting thing that’s happened here for a very long time,” one local told British tabloid The Sun of Harris’s visit to the venue, where a steak will set diners back $98.

“Unfortunately, I’m not able to comment,” a staff member told The Daily Beast via phone call when quizzed on Vance’s reported rejection. She referred the Beast to the owner of the venue, Public House Group, which has been contacted for comment. Representatives for Vance have also been contacted.

Charlbury, a small town near the 18th-century manor where Vance and his family stayed while in the Cotswolds, was also the scene of a colorful protest against his visit on Tuesday. The “Dance Against Vance” protest was punctuated by placards dubbing him a “war criminal,” and images of a meme that shows a bald and baby-faced Vance with rosy, swollen cheeks.

ItsWhatSheDeserves.gif. There’s one national characteristic I will always admire: British people refuse to be awed by power or celebrity. They will call Vance an ugly wanker while looking straight at his eyeliner. British people know how to mock someone until that person cries. British people will have clever signs and they’ll have a billboard painted in 24 hours. I’m surprised no one over there has done a paper mache Vance for their protests. And no, I’m not surprised that a high-end pub’s staff wanted nothing to do with Vance as a customer. I think it’s cool that Kamala Harris was just there and she got a great reception though. Fun!

JD Vance’s security went door-to-door, demanding people’s social media handles

JD Vance’s month-long family holiday in England has been a circus from the word go. The Vance family is renting a manor house in the Cotswolds, and they brought dozens (if not hundreds) of Secret Service personnel with them. The Vances and the Secret Service are apparently determined to make horse’s asses out of themselves at every turn. There was widespread contempt with JD when he recently brought an 18-vehicle motorcade to a sleepy farm shop, and he apparently stayed for three hours. But it gets even worse. Apparently, the Idiot Abroad’s Secret Service agents are going door-to-door in the Cotswolds and demanding British people’s social media handles.

Residents nearby a Grade II-listed country manor hosting JD Vance have described the major disruption his holiday has brought to their usually sleepy villages. After a busy few months in office, the US vice president is spending his summer holidays in the hamlet of Dean, near Chipping Norton, Oxfordshire.

But residents in the vicinity of the 6-acre site have described roadblocks and police door knocks in recent days, as security in the area reaches high alert. Road closures, sniffer dogs, police and a number of blacked out cars have all been spotted in the area, a marked difference to the usual calm and quaint atmosphere of a Cotswold country retreat. Though the village is no stranger to high-profile faces, with it being the home to former prime minister David Cameron, the level of security has prompted the owners of the manor to apologise to locals “for the circus”.

One woman told The Times the village had seen “one blinking pantomime after the other” and said: “We are used to the great and good here. Before David Cameron moved in we had Douglas Hurd and he was lovely. We have Ben Kingsley in Spelsbury and we see him in the woods walking his dog, but to close off the roads is ridiculous.” The woman told the paper she and a friend had been stopped by police blocking a footpath while walking through the area, and said: “I told the police ‘we are two old ladies, we are hardly terrorists’.”

Another local told the paper police had been going door-to-door asking for personal details of residents and social media accounts. He said: “I know several people refused. We asked them if they were protecting us, or Vance. At least they were honest and said it is for him and that it will all be passed on to the American security people.”

One local went as far as to tell LBC: “Generally we like to welcome everybody to Chipping Norton, but no, I’d absolutely kick him in the shins.”

[From The Independent]

These are the same Secret Service agents who lied for years about Joe Biden’s dogs biting them, and now they’re going door-to-door IN ANOTHER COUNTRY to demand people’s social media account names so they can “protect” JD Vance from fat-face memes. Speaking of, if there’s one thing British people are good at, it’s making fun of powerful people to their fat faces. There’s already a well-spring of protests against Vance.

JD Vance took an 18-vehicle motorcade to a 3-hour trip to a Cotswolds farm shop

JD Vance and his family are still in Cotswolds, England. They’re renting a £8000-a-week manor home, and Vance is taking a few meetings with various British officials. Basically, a taxpayer-funded jaunt to the English countryside. There are so many different criticisms to lodge against Vance, but few people are making those arguments. For one, why does this disgusting man need so many wasteful taxpayer-funded holidays? Two, why does he hate America so much that he has to vacation abroad? Three, why is he determined to be an Idiot Abroad and invite such controversy in another country? Speaking of, Vance is really disrupting the quiet peace of Cotswolds every day:

JD Vance is still causing chaos abroad, this time during a visit to a Cotswolds farm shop — known as one of the poshest of its kind in the United Kingdom. The vice president rolled into Daylesford Organic, a shop situated on 3,500 acres of farmland, in an 18-vehicle motorcade on Monday, The Daily Mail reported.

He was entertained in the store for around three hours by billionaire conservative donor Lord Antony Bamford, husband of Lady Carole, the founder and operator of the establishment. The Bamfords are no strangers to controversial company—Daylesford House also hosted Boris and Carrie Johnson’s wedding bash in 2022.

The shop has previously made noise for its outlandishly expensive items — including a wicker-style blanket basket on sale for over $1,000. Vance, however, was more interested in the bread counter, where he was reportedly seen tasting samples.

Locals, meanwhile, were left to face two road and three public footpath closures, security checkpoints and sniffer dogs during his visit, according to the Mail.

Vance thundered into the Cotswolds this weekend with his wife and three children, transforming the area into a fortress swarming with armed British police and plainclothes U.S. Secret Service officials. The vice president and his family are in the area for a not-so-quiet getaway. Frustrations began on Saturday when roads were closed, and locals trying to access the hamlet were subject to ID checks. Large vehicles belonging to either the British police or their American counterparts shattered the countryside’s calm when they started rattling around the usually quiet roads near the 18th-century Manor House, where the Vances are staying.

[From The Daily Beast]

An 18-vehicle motorcade? For Dopey? Really? This is such an embarrassment. It’s been embarrassing this whole time, but it’s extra-cringey when Trump and Vance pull this sh-t abroad. I should note that Vance has already tried to go on vacation within America, and he’s been met with hecklers and protests. That’s probably why he decided to be a nuisance in England.

Meanwhile, he told a MAGA podcast that his family “wants to go to Hawaii at some point in the next couple years…Hopefully, we can find some excuses [as] vice president of the United States to go to Hawaii. Kamala Harris went to Hawaii, so we should be able to find some excuse to go to Hawaii.” Kamala went to Hawaii last year, after she lost the election. Barack Obama’s family took annual vacations in Hawaii too, because President Obama was FROM Hawaii and he still has family and friends there. Why aren’t the Vances vacationing in Ohio, where Vance is from?

JD Vance is renting a £8,000-a-week Cotswolds manor house & his neighbors hate him

It feels like JD Vance has been on vacation for months. He basically just drops into Washington for a day or two in between vacations. I seem to remember, not so long ago, when the Beltway media and the entire political establishment was obsessed with the VPOTUS’s rare days off and shopping habits. People threw political tantrums for months because Kamala Harris shopped for cookware in between meetings in Paris, remember that? But when a white guy is VPOTUS, suddenly no one has any issue with his months-long holidays. In early August, Vance was on vacation in Ohio, where the Secret Service raised the water level of the Little Miami River so this Nazi doofus could go kayaking.

Vice President JD Vance’s security detail coordinated for the water level of an Ohio river to be raised to accommodate his recent family boating trip in celebration of his 41st birthday. According to reports from The Guardian and the Associated Press, the vice president’s security detail from the Secret Service requested that the Army Corps of Engineers change the outflow of a lake into the Little Miami River ahead of Vance’s trip to southwest Ohio on Saturday, Aug. 2.

According to a statement given to the Guardian by the US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), the request from the Secret Service was made to “support safe navigation” for Vance and his family. Social media posts obtained by the AP that day showed Vance kayaking on the river, which feeds into Ohio’s Caesar Creek Lake. One source alleged to The Guardian that the request was not only made to support safe boating on the river, but also to create “ideal kayaking conditions.”

Public data from US Geological Survey (USGS) obtained by The Guardian showed a sudden increase in the Little Miami River’s level and a corresponding drop in lake elevation during the dates Vance was in Ohio. USACE spokesperson Gene Pawlik told the outlet that USACE Louisville had received “a request to temporarily increase outflows from Caesar Creek Lake to support safe navigation of US Secret Service personnel.”

“It was determined that the operations would not adversely affect downstream or upstream water levels,” Pawlik said in an additional statement, per the AP. “Downstream stakeholders were notified in advance of the slight outflow increase, which occurred August 1, 2025.”

[From People]

USACE spokesperson Gene Pawlik told the outlet that USACE Louisville had received “a request to temporarily increase outflows from Caesar Creek Lake to support safe navigation of US Secret Service personnel.”…. Or they could have told this overgrown toddler to kayak somewhere else?? Jesus. If your vacation plans need to be coordinated with the Army Corps of Engineers, you should probably just change your vacation plans. This wasn’t state business, and this is hugely wasteful and probably damaging to the ecosystem.

Meanwhile, the Vance family is currently on another vacation, this time in Cotswolds, England. His family is renting a “sprawling Cotswolds manor house” for £8,000 a week. The British media is obsessed with this – there are dozens of tabloid stories about his visit and how his neighbors hate him and hate that he’s turned the area into a circus. Vance is allegedly getting some business done, meeting with various British officials like Foreign Secretary David Lammy.

JD Vance: Democrats will lose the midterms on their anti-Sydney Sweeney message

Sydney Sweeney has become a one-woman culture war and it’s ridiculous. Truly, the dumbest timeline. Even if you’re not a fan of Sweeney and her whole deal, why does anyone care to such a rabid degree? To recap, Sydney’s American Eagle campaign went viral almost two weeks ago for feeling very pro-eugenics. A funny sidenote to this whole fiasco is that the proceeds to American Eagle’s “Sydney Jeans” go to an anti-domestic violence charity. While AE took down the most eugenics-y commercial, they’re still sticking with the “Sydney Sweeney Has Great Jeans” tagline. AE even came out on Friday and doubled-down on the tagline, saying that the “‘Sydney Sweeney has great jeans’ tag is, and always was about the jeans… Her jeans. Her story….Great jeans look good on everyone.”

Well, of course that’s not the end of it. Last week, the whole-ass White House spokesperson made a statement about the ad campaign and the spokesperson blamed Democrats for the entire controversy. Keep in mind, I have not seen one elected Democrat say one word about this. Plenty of Democratic voters have remarked online about how the campaign is problematic, for sure. While Sydney has never come out and said (in an interview) what her politics are, she’s apparently a registered Republican in Florida. Well, the Trump administration is now convinced that this is a winning message: Democrats are trying to take away Sydney Sweeney’s enormous cans, that’s why you must support Republicans. The reason I know this is an authorized messaging campaign is because they sent JD Vance out to issue a f–king statement about it.

Vice President JD Vance gleefully weighed in on the controversy over Sydney Sweeney’s ad for American Eagle jeans — encouraging “Democrats” to keep the outrage coming, even though no high-profile Democratic Party officials have expressed an opinion about the matter.

“My political advice to the Democrats is continue to tell everybody who thinks Sydney Sweeney is attractive is a Nazi,” Vance said jokingly on Friday’s episode of the conservative “Ruthless” podcast. “That appears to be their actual strategy.”

Vance, mining the political vein of the latest culture-war clash, continued, “I mean, it actually reveals something pretty interesting about the Dems, though, which is that you have, like, a normal all-American beautiful girl doing like a normal jeans ad, right? They’re trying to sell, you know, sell jeans to kids in America and they have managed to so unhinge themselves over this thing. And it’s like, you guys, did you learn nothing from the November 2024 election?”

“I actually thought that one of the lessons [Democrats] might take is we’re going to be less crazy. And the lesson they have apparently taken is, ‘We’re going to attack people as Nazis for thinking Sydney Sweeney is beautiful,’” Vance told the hosts of “Ruthless,” who recently inked a licensing deal to join Fox News. “Great strategy, guys. That’s how you’re going to win the midterm, especially young American men.”

“So much of the Democrats is oriented around hostility to basic American life. So you have a pretty girl doing a jeans ad and they can’t help but freak out,” Vance said. “It reveals a lot more about them than it does us.”

[From Variety]

Again, no elected Democrat is running on a message of: “We must stop Sydney Sweeney’s sweet cans, for democracy.” No one. But the larger strategy is for Republicans to blanket the media and turn Sydney’s eugenics-denim into their biggest culture war, all so people won’t pay attention to: Jeffrey Epstein, Ghislaine Maxwell, the end of public broadcasting, the descent into full authoritarian fascism, the fact that Trump said Epstein “stole” teenage girls from him, the insanity that is the Supreme Court, the deaths of millions from the cancellation of USAID, and all of the planes that keep falling out of the sky.
