There’s a semi-annual tradition: rumors and questions about whether Carole and Michael Middleton will receive royal/noble titles when their son in law, Prince William, becomes king. I’ve long believed that the Middletons are the ones circulating the “rumors.” It does feel like the rumors got put on the back burner after Carole and Michael were exposed as frauds and bums who had been lying about their finances and the state of Party Pieces for years and years. But then, magically, the “will the Middletons get a title” rumors reappeared in 2024, during the Princess of Wales’s health crisis. I still say that whatever went down behind the scenes, Carole and Mike negotiated their own re-entry into society, facilitated by the Windsors. Long story short, I actually believe that William will give them titles now.

When Prince William becomes king, Kate Middleton will be queen consort. Does this mean that her middle-class parents, Carole and Michael Middleton, will receive royal titles?

According to experts, it is highly unlikely. Although the former flight attendant and the former pilot are very close to the royal family, very close to William, and very present in the lives of grandchildren Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis, there is no hint of royal titles in their future because they are reserved for those who are born or marry into the royal family.

Instead, titles of nobility are passed down from generation to generation or granted by the reigning monarch. There are rumors in English high society that Carole and Michael, who went out of their way to help William and Kate when the princess was being treated for cancer (and continue to support them now that their daughter’s illness is in remission), deserve to receive the title of earls. However, no such precedent appears in history: family members of a queen consort have never received such an honor.

“No such precedent appears in history…” Modern history, maybe, but “a monarch raising the positions of his in-laws” has been around for centuries. That was one of the biggest reasons why families thrust their daughters into the paths of kings – because it would provide for the whole family, and raise the family’s position. Anyway, as I said, it would not surprise me at all if the 2024 negotiations included some longer-term plans for the Middletons. The Viscount and Viscountess of Bucklebury, perhaps. Baroness of Berkshire! Not a royal title, but a noble title. And definitely some kind of bribe to keep everything rolling.

Carole Middleton & Roger Federer are sitting (separately) in Wimbledon’s Royal Box

Over the weekend, Andy Roddick made his first-ever appearance in Wimbledon’s Royal Box. He told ESPN that the All-England Club had extended the invitation, and so he decided to go and just watch tennis and have fun (he brought his wife Brooklyn). I bring that up because the club really does have to *invite* former players and celebrities to sit in the Royal Box, and no one is there by chance.

So, today, for the fourth-round singles matches, the club invited Roger Federer and his wife Mirka Federer to watch the matches from the Royal Box. The club also invited Carole and Michael Middleton. As soon as I saw that Roger was there, I knew that the Middletons would try to get near him. I’m honestly shocked that the Princess of Wales didn’t come out today so she could flirt with Rog. Kate’s due to take a “starring role” in this week’s state visit by President Macron, so maybe she didn’t want to pack too much into her week. Still, you know it hurts to miss “sitting with Roger and ignoring Mirka.”

A few more things… Roger really showed up to watch one of his biggest rivals, Novak Djokovic, get his ass handed to him by Alex De Minuar! As I’m writing this, Djokovic lost his first set 6-1 to Alex. You know Roger is chuckling to himself. As for Carole… she wore a really terrible dress today. Yikes.

The past two years have been horrible for the Middleton family. Their house of cards collapsed last year, when Carole and Michael Middleton’s business, Party Pieces, went bankrupt and the court ordered an insolvency firm to negotiate the sale of the Party Pieces’ name and stock. The scope of the Middletons’ mismanagement, debt and lies was breathtaking, and they left numerous businesses, small vendors, banks and creditors on the hook for millions of pounds. The Middletons were so broke-ass, they couldn’t even pay the insolvency firm handling Party Pieces’ bankruptcy. They were looking at being permanently shunned from polite society. But then something shifted with the Princess of Wales’s health this year, and suddenly, the Middletons were able to negotiate a deal for themselves. They were back in the fold, welcomed at Ascot and Wimbledon, and the bad press magically stopped. Not only that, royal reporters are back to acting like the Middletons are completely embraced by the Windsors.

Princess Kate has had a tough year with her cancer struggles, and her Middleton family have been “pivotal”, according to experts. Carole and Michael Middleton are said to have been “very welcomed into the royal fold”, and will be rewarded this Christmas.

Speaking on The Sun’s Royal Exclusive show, Vanity Fair’s royal correspondent Katie Nicholl said: “The Middletons have been very, very welcomed into the royal fold. They have a very close relationship, and they had a lovely relationship with the late Queen. And I think there’s, I think there’s a good relationship between the King and the Middletons. The Middletons have been so pivotal and important this year.”

Royal reporter Richard Palmer said that the Middleton family could even be invited to stay at Sandringham with the royal family this Christmas, due to their close bond. Katie continued: “I think it’s a very real possibility if there’s space, because that’s the problem with Sandringham. It sounds ridiculous. There’s not enough space, but why not? But there are outhouses, and Anmer Hall is only a stone’s throw from Sandringham.”

Ah, to be a royal reporter! To feel no need to give any kind of history or context or truth. No, King Charles doesn’t like the Middletons. They’ve been lowkey beefing for more than a decade. In fact, I still believe that the Middletons’ fall from grace last year was at least partially engineered by Charles and Camilla, in the sense that Charles and Camilla did nothing to stop the downfall and likely tacitly or openly approved of the reporting around the Middletons’ debt and financial catastrophe. Charles tolerates the Middletons staying at Anmer Hall, but he will not invite them to stay at the big house. And yes, the Middletons will be in Norfolk this Christmas, as will the Parker-Bowles family.

Carole Middleton attended Wimbledon again, but wasn’t seated in the Royal Box

As we covered yesterday, Queen Camilla turned up at Wimbledon on Wednesday to watch some tennis. As it turned out, Wednesday was sort of a banner day for A-list Wimbledon attendees. Keira Knightley was there, so was Peter Phillips, Zara Tindall, Mike Tindall, Frederick Windsor, Richard E. Grant and a bunch of other celebrities. Well, guess who else showed up? Carole and Michael Middleton.

On the 4th of July, Carole and Mike were actually seated in the Royal Box on Centre Court, which blew my mind. Given all of their fraud, all of their broke-ass shenanigans, for Carole and Mike to be seated among the elite in the Royal Box makes zero sense unless the Windsors have done the most to smooth things over behind-the-scenes. Because by all accounts, Carole and Michael should be social pariahs. They should be booed every time they leave the house. Well, on Wednesday, it does not look like they were seated in the Royal Box. You can bet that Queen Carole thought she belonged up there with Queen Camilla! That’s exactly how shameless these grifters are.

Meanwhile, as someone following tennis, I find it so odd that there was this kind of celebrity/royal turnout for Wednesday’s matches. I get that most people decided to attend before Alex de Minaur withdrew, and thus no one got to see Novak Djokovic play (and he does get a good turnout, despite being a bit surly this year). But they put the more interesting women’s match, Barbora Krejcikova vs. Jelena Ostapenko, on Court 1 rather than Centre (Barbie won). On Centre Court, it was a beatdown – Rybakina destroying Svitolina. The one men’s quarterfinal was a five-setter but it was honestly kind of boring (Taylor Fritz collapsed mentally) and it was on Court 1. Why didn’t these people show up for Carlos Alcaraz’s matches? Or Daniil Medvedev’s matches? Well, they better show up for the semifinals!

Two weeks ago, something very notable happened at Royal Ascot: Carole and Michael Middleton made their grand reentry into British high society after Party Pieces collapsed into insolvency. Last year, the Middletons were exposed as con artists and habitual liars – Party Pieces’ collapse left a trail of financial destruction – they screwed over local Bucklebury businesses and British vendors, they defaulted on pandemic loans, and they basically went into hiding for months. After last year’s coronation, the Middletons only came out for one public event in the past year: Kate’s stupid Christmas carol thing in December. It was genuinely surprising and notable to see Carole and Michael Middleton at Royal Ascot, rubbing elbows with royals and society people and trying to act like their whole house of cards didn’t collapse.

Well, funny story. Carole and Michael went to Wimbledon on Thursday. Not only did they go to Wimbledon, they were seated in the Royal Box. This a big deal – even when the Middletons were in good standing and their house of cards was pre-collapse, they were rarely welcomed into the Royal Box. I remember one year, Carole begged Roger Federer’s wife Mirka for extra tickets in the players’ box area on Center Court. Speaking of, Roger was in town and I would guess that was the reason why the Middletons popped up. Carole has a thing for Roger and Roger sucks up to the British royals and royal-adjacents.

You know what we need to bring back as a society? Shame. How are the Middletons not ashamed to show their faces? How can they afford to keep up appearances at Wimbledon after screwing over so many people? Why were they even invited to sit in the Royal Box? Their appearance at Ascot sort of proved that whatever went down in the first six months of the year, the Middletons successfully negotiated whatever this is – a reentry into society, with the British media refusing to point out the Middletons’ grift and financial catastrophe.

Carole & Michael Middleton stepped out for Day 2 of Royal Ascot

Well well well! Carole and Michael Middleton made an appearance today at Day 2 of Royal Ascot. This is only their second “public outing” since King Charles’s coronation last year, and since their business, Party Pieces, collapsed into total insolvency. Their only other public outing since all of that mess came last December, at Kate’s dumbass Christmas carol event. Now, there have been “sightings” of Carole this year – she was driving Kate (or someone) in an SUV in Windsor back in March (the silly season of fake Kate sightings). Carole was also reportedly at a Norfolk pub with Prince William in April.

Last week, we heard that Carole and Michael are literally too broke to pay the insolvency firm which handled the fire sale of Party Pieces for £180,000 (and the new owner did not take on any of Party Pieces’ £3 million debt). The fact that Carole and Michael are now out and about at Royal Ascot is fascinating for no other reason than “how the hell can they afford to keep up these appearances?” How can Carole’s broke ass afford this £350 Self-Portrait dress? I’m sure their creditors would love to know. Speaking of, it’s remarkable to read the British media’s coverage of the Middletons’ appearance at Ascot. Nary a mention of how they f–ked over banks, the government and small businesses with their fraud. It’s all “oh, how lovely, the Middletons are out for Ascot!”

Keep your eye on all of this. I’ve long believed that the Windsors were happy to throw the Middletons to the wolves all of last year and it was clear that the Midds were declared persona non grata for a while. If the Middletons are being welcomed back with open arms by the media and the Windsors, something went down behind-the-scenes.

Carole & Michael Middleton couldn’t pay their insolvency firm’s £320K bill

Carole and Michael Middleton’s Party Pieces business completely collapsed a little more than a year ago. Party Pieces had accrued over £2.6million to creditors, many of whom had extended credit to Carole Middleton personally because she’s the mother of the future queen. The Middletons’ house of cards collapsed thoroughly as people learned of the extent of their debt and catastrophic business decisions. Many theorized that the Middletons still have money stocked away – I just don’t see how that’s possible, and I don’t see a situation where a hustler like Carole Middleton would have allowed her social standing to disappear overnight if she had the ability to mitigate some of the damage.

Back in April, we heard a curious story about Interpath, the insolvency firm which was tasked with arranging the “sale” of the now-insolvent Party Pieces. Interpath incurred costs of more than £260,000 as they tried to untangle the Middletons’ fraud and prop up Party Pieces for sale. The Middletons were too broke to pay Interpath’s fees. Now an update: Interpath has written off the £320,000 in fees owed by the Middletons. As in, the Middletons are so broke, they couldn’t pay the insolvency firm so the firm had to write it all off.

Insolvency group Interpath is understood to have written off more than £320,000 in fees it was owed from the administration of Party Pieces, the former business of the Prince of Wales’s in-laws.

Interpath was appointed as administrator in May and over the last 12 months it incurred time costs of £321,716. Time costs are normally charged by administrators to firms whose insolvencies they are handling.

However, creditors’ reports show that the £230,852.99 Interpath was able to raise from selling Party Pieces to Teddy Tastic Bear Co for £60,000, liquidating its stock and other cash-raising actions, was wiped out by legal and other costs.

As a result, Interpath has written off the time costs. It also means creditors, including HM Revenue and Customs, will get nothing back whatsoever.

When it collapsed, Party Pieces owed nearly £613,000 to the taxman in VAT. Its employees were owed £84,690, while trade creditors were owed £456,000 plus. Banks, institutions and other lenders were owed £1.6million. Interpath declined to comment.

This also explains the larger disappearance of Carole and Michael Middleton over the past year. They came out for the coronation (which happened before Party Pieces collapsed) and then they came out six months later for Kate’s Christmas concert. The only time Carole has been seen this year is in that paparazzi photo with “Kate” in the car. Now, Kensington Palace seemingly claimed that Carole went to a pub in Norfolk with Prince William back in April too. But the Middletons have been politically defanged and they are now a huge, broke-ass liability for Kate. Like… the fact that they couldn’t even pay for the insolvency firm’s bill? The Middletons have absolutely zero power now.
