Benny Blanco Selena Gomez Weddings

Selena Gomez wore Ralph Lauren for her Santa Barbara wedding with Benny Blanco

Which do you prefer, when celebrities post more lowkey, homespun wedding photos on their social media, or when they sell or give their wedding exclusive to a magazine? In recent years, so many celebrities have been giving or selling their wedding photos to magazines. Vogue is a big one, and I thought Selena Gomez would go that route for her wedding to Benny Blanco. Benny and Selena married in Santa Barbara on Saturday. While Vogue was given some exclusive-ish details, the magazine did not get exclusive photos. Instead, Selena just posted a carousel on Instagram, and some of the photos don’t even feel like professional portraits whatsoever. I dig it? It’s nice to have a celebrity wedding presented in a less formal way.

Congratulations are in order for Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco, who are now officially married. The couple, who became engaged in December 2024 after a year of dating, said “I do” today in Santa Barbara.

The weekend affair kicked off with a rehearsal dinner on Friday evening at a mansion in the private community of Hope Ranch in Santa Barbara County, nestled among the foothills of the Santa Ynez Mountains.

The ceremony itself reportedly took place at the lush Sea Crest Nursery, in front of around 170 of the couple’s family and friends (and staffed with extra security). Large white tents were erected at the site for eating, dancing, and celebrating throughout the night.

Guests included Gomez’s longtime friend Taylor Swift, as well as Paul Rudd and her Only Murders in the Building co-stars Martin Short and Steve Martin. Paris Hilton, Ed Sheeran, Ashley Park, and Gomez’s Wizards of Waverly Place co-star David Henrie were also present. Gomez previously told Drew Barrymore on The Drew Barrymore Show that “Marty [Short] is due to give a speech,” while “Steve [Martin] will probably pull out his banjo”—although that hasn’t been confirmed just yet.

The bride wore a custom hand-draped halter-neck satin dress with embroidery—with a bouquet of lily of the valley—while the groom opted for a black tuxedo. Both were dressed by Ralph Lauren.

Her Ralph Lauren gown was beautiful – at times, Selena has the tendency to pour herself into too-tight gowns for red carpets, but there was none of that at her wedding. The gown was a halter, with her girls covered up and a floral applique at the neck. It’s lovely. She was a beautiful bride. She and Benny seem well-suited and I truly hope it lasts.

PS… Page Six reported that Selena & Benny used the same wedding planners hired by Justin Bieber & Hailey Baldwin in 2019. Sigh…

Camila Cabello Weddings

Camila Cabello performed at a fan’s wedding after meeting her at a bar

One of my all-time favorite celebrity stories involves Keanu Reeves meeting a couple at a hotel bar in the UK. They were at the hotel for their wedding and invited him to the reception, which he ended up attending. Tom Hanks has also been known to do the same. He’s crashed at least two fan weddings. Queen Elizabeth surprised a couple by accepting an invitation to their wedding in Manchester. There’s just something about celebrities randomly deciding to mingle with us normies that is very endearing.

Camila Cabello has officially joined the Celebrity Wedding Crashers Club. While at a hotel bar in Iowa this past weekend, Camilla met a bride, Kelli, the night before the wedding. It was a chance encounter, but the bride told her that she was going to do her father-daughter dance to Camila’s song, “First Man.” Camila was so touched that she not only accepted an invitation to the wedding, but she also performed the song while Kelli and her dad did their dance.

Camila Cabello turned a chance fan encounter into an unforgettable wedding moment for a bride and her dad. The “Havana” singer, 28, met and chatted with Kelli Murray and her family at a hotel bar in Iowa on Friday night. Sept. 19, according to a pair of TikTok videos posted by Murray’s cousin. The bride told Cabello that she was planning to use her song “First Man” for her father-daughter dance, prompting the pop star to offer to come perform it live at the wedding on Saturday, Sept. 20.

One of the videos shows Cabello wearing a long black slip dress and holding a microphone at the wedding as she shared the story of how she came to be at Murray’s nuptials. She then noted, ” ‘First Man’ is a very special song to me. It’s a song that I wrote about my dad and about, you know, the moment that I get married.”

Cabello quickly added, “I have not been married yet,” joking, “I wonder if this will be my father-daughter dance [song].”

Continuing her story, Cabello said of her appearance at the wedding: “We kind of planned this, and it was kind of a little last-minute thing that we put together.”

She told Murray she was “really honored” to be a part of such a special moment.

“I’m such a daddy’s girl and I feel like your dad, if you’re lucky, is your first love, your first hero — the man that kind of sets the stage for the next man in your life,” she explained.

Cabello then said that she could tell from speaking with Murray and her dad, Mike, that he “loves the hell out of you.”

She ended her little speech by cheering, “To daddy’s girls!” before beginning her performance.

In the second video, Cabello can be seen singing as Murray and her dad swayed together on the dance floor. At one point, the Grammy nominee even worked the bride’s name into the lyrics of the song. Mike appeared visibly emotional, wiping away tears, as he danced with his daughter on her wedding day.

In the caption of the video, Murray’s cousin praised Cabello’s generous gesture, writing, “She was such a kind human and helped make pure magic last night.”

Cabello herself commented on the post, writing, “I’m honored I was a part of your family’s special day, u guys are precious ????????????????????????.”

[From People]

This really was super sweet of Camila to do for this family. I genuinely enjoy when famous people do random sh-t like this. It’s endearing, but it also gives us a glimpse of who they are as real people. Obviously, not every famous person has the luxury of randomly popping by fan weddings, but it’s a testament to their stage presence when they can pull off something like this. Every time I hear about one of these encounters, I wonder what I have to do or where I have to be in order to magically run into someone like Sir Paul McCartney or the patron saint of my hometown, Long Island, Billy Joel. Kudos to Camila for accepting their request and really rolling with it. She did a fantastic job, and gave this couple a gift that they will remember forever.

Abby Champion Patrick Schwarzenegger Weddings

Patrick Schwarzenegger & Abby Champion’s Idaho wedding was really lovely

Patrick Schwarzenegger married his longtime girlfriend/fiancee Abby Champion on September 4th, and they gave some exclusive wedding photos to Vogue. I enjoyed all of this – Abby’s Danielle Frankel wedding gown is lovely and appropriate, Patrick looked nice but he also looked like he wanted all eyes to be on his bride, and the wedding seemed pretty subdued. They didn’t make people fly all over the world for their wedding either – there was a three-day wedding event held in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. The wedding was outdoors, with beautiful scenery, and everyone seemed really happy. It’s worth mentioning that Patrick and Abby have been together for a decade already! It’s the first marriage for both. He’s 31, she’s 28. From Vogue:

The proposal: [Two years ago] Patrick proposed to Abby while on an early morning beach walk in Santa Monica. At first, she didn’t think anything of it: she and Patrick regularly took such sandy strolls with their coffee. Yet in the distance, she spied a heart made of roses in the sand. “It was intimate, relaxed, and everything I had ever imagined,” she says of their proposal.

Patrick had a lot of wedding ideas: The White Lotus actor and model held a three-day, early September wedding in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. Ashley Graham Events acted as their wedding planner—with significant direction from Patrick himself. (“Funny enough, it’s more Patrick’s personality to dive into the flowers and little details, so he helped with so much, which I absolutely loved,” says Abby.)

The gown: On Saturday, September 6, Abby walked down the aisle wearing a custom silk wool column gown with a high neck and dramatic deep V back by Danielle Frankel. In lieu of a traditional train, the bride opted for a silk overskirt with a hand-painted lining. She paired it all with soft tulle opera-length gloves and a fingertip-length veil. “For me, the dress and who designed it were incredibly important,” the bride says. “Since fitting and fashion are part of my profession, I knew I wanted to work with someone I felt completely comfortable with, someone I could openly share my thoughts and opinions with. From the moment I met Danielle, I knew she was the one.” She accessorized with diamond stud earrings and a pearl ring from Mackenna Thaler jewelry, while Abby Moorer did her hair and makeup.

The groom’s look: Patrick, on the other hand, waited for her under a floral arch in a custom tuxedo by Haider Ackermann for Tom Ford. “Patrick trusted Haider Ackermann to represent Tom Ford’s new direction while maintaining the classic elegance and sophistication befitting a wedding celebration,” Abby says of her now-husband’s fashion-forward look.

Wedding decor: Her father officiated the ceremony on the shores of Lake Coeur d’Alene, with the crystalline water and the Rocky Mountains as a backdrop. Abby says that she and Patrick deliberately kept their decor minimal, opting for simple white chairs as well as white roses and hydrangeas as flower arrangements. “I was a little terrified of bees, so I wanted to avoid anything too elaborate,” Abby says, laughing. “It turned out perfectly.”

[From Vogue]

I was going to question Patrick’s white jacket paired with white tie, but the “kissing photo” makes his tuxedo look really nice. It just has weird angles, I think. I like her dress, as I said – the high neck, the gloves, the train. It feels traditional, yet it’s so different from what most “celebrity brides” choose these days. Now, the country & western theme? Eh. I also wondered “why Idaho?” Abby is from Alabama. Patrick is from California. Maybe they just wanted a destination wedding but they didn’t want to make people leave the country.

Brody Jenner Caitlyn Jenner Weddings

Photo is in the People slideshow below

Brody Jenner and Tia Blanco got married in Malibu last weekend. It was a small ceremony that took place in Brody’s mother, Linda Thompson’s, backyard. There were some notable absences, like Brody’s half-sisters, Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner, but the rest of the extended Jenner family was there, including Caitlyn Jenner. Last week, we got glimpses of Tia’s dress and the festivities, courtesy of pictures that had been posted to Instagram, but nothing official. Well, People got the exclusive pictures, which gave us a more detailed look at the fashion. The bride wore a beautiful floral corset gown by WONÁ, the groom wore black Dolce & Gabbana, the mother of the groom wore green, and the father of the groom wore a white dress with a white cardigan.

While Brody Jenner said ‘I do’ to his partner Tia Blanco, fans couldn’t help but notice one fashion faux pas at their dreamy wedding. Caitlyn Jenner, who attended the private ceremony, was photographed standing alongside the happy couple wearing a white dress — a traditional color reserved for the bride.

In photos obtained by People, Caitlyn, 75, wore a button-up, midi-length white dress cinched at the waist with a brown belt. She completed the look with a white open cardigan and strappy sandals that matched her belt.

Fans quickly took notice of her outfit’s color after the outlet posted the wedding photos. One user commented, “Caitlyn did not get the memo about not wearing white to someone’s wedding?” while another asked, “Why is Caitlyn wearing white?”

This sentiment echoed across the comments and spilled over onto other platforms like TikTok, where a video compilation highlighted Caitlyn’s controversial fashion choice.

Since white is traditionally reserved for the bride, many argued that Caitlyn broke a major wedding guest rule. Others suggested it was likely an innocent wardrobe accident with no ill intent. As of now, Caitlyn has not responded to the controversy.

Aside from Caitlyn’s unconventional outfit, fans are also buzzing about the couple’s stunning celebration, which took place at their private six-acre Malibu estate over the weekend.

As for the bridal attire, Blanco wore a WONÁ wedding dress adorned with floral accents. Her tulle gown featured a detailed corset, heart-shaped neckline and embroidered sleeves. Brody chose a classic black suit designed and fitted by Dolce & Gabbana.

“Surrounded by our closest friends and family, we celebrated a day that felt like pure magic,” Brody told People. “What made it even more special was having our beautiful daughter, Honey, right there with us.”

The couple welcomed their first child in July 2023, following their engagement during their baby shower.

“Watching her smile light up the day reminded us exactly why this moment meant so much. She wasn’t just a part of the ceremony, she was the heart of it. It was raw, real, and full of meaning — just the way we wanted it.”

[From Parade]

Caitlyn’s white dress (last photo in slideshow here) feels like it belongs in a “Wedding Fails” subreddit! Everyone knows that wearing a white dress to a wedding is a no-no. Heck, it’s questionable to wear any color that’s at risk of photographing poorly, like pale pink or light yellow. Do we think that she asked Tia to approve of the dress ahead of time? Or did she just cluelessly show up? Oh, to be a fly on the walls behind those scenes, ha.

We also get better shots of Tia’s wedding dress, and it is even more gorgeous than it looked in the unauthorized pictures. I think this may be my favorite celebrity wedding dress in recent history. I love it. The strapless, corset top fits her perfectly. That gown is whimsical. Those sleeves perfectly melt into gloves. The entire ensemble is flawless, but my favorite part is how sweet their daughter, Honey, looked. She’s so adorable! That is the perfect ‘Mommy and Me’ look.

Mel B Weddings

Mel B is throwing a second wedding this summer so more friends can come

Mel B and Rory McPhee got married at The Crypt at St. Paul’s Cathedral on Saturday, July 5th. After the ceremony was over, Mel, Rory, and their guests moved over to Shangri-La, a fancy hotel located inside of the famous Shard building. When we talked about it on Monday, someone in the comments pointed out that their names rhyme, and now I can’t stop saying it in a sing-song voice in my head. So, thank you for that, ha.

Anyway, while the rhyming Mel B and Rory McPhee haven’t confirmed their total guest count, quite a few of their famous friends were photographed outside of St. Paul’s, including Cara Delevingne, Daisy Lowe, and Emma Bunton, who looked lovely in a baby pink dress. The newlyweds left the cathedral in a white carriage, but their guests were transported to the Shard in these awesome double-decker buses that read “Melanie and Rory. Just married.” I bet you that was a really fun bus ride. Well, Mel and Rory’s aren’t quite finished with their wedding festivities. They’re also planning a second wedding this summer! This time, it will be a “more informal, sexy, and beautiful” destination wedding.

Melanie “Mel B” Brown is giving her Spice Girls friends a second chance to attend her wedding. When Mel B, also known as “Scary Spice,” married hairstylist Rory McPhee at The Crypt at St Paul’s Cathedral in London on Saturday, July 5, only one of her former bandmates was in attendance. The singer, 50, recently told The Sun that she and her husband will throw a second wedding this summer that will be “more informal, sexy and beautiful,” and give guests who missed out on their nuptials another opportunity to go.

While several celebrities — including Cara Delevingne, Katherine Ryan and Daisy Lowe — made the first starry wedding guest list, Emma Bunton, also known as “Baby Spice,” was the only member of the Spice Girls group who came to support the bride.

Melanie “Mel C” Chisholm, also known as “Sporty Spice,” was busy performing live onstage at the We Love the 90 & 00s Festival in Stockholm, Sweden.

Meanwhile, Victoria Beckham, also known as “Posh Spice,” opted to send well wishes to the couple on Instagram, writing in the days leading up to the ceremony, “Congratulations to you both! We hope you had the most amazing day,” and “Sending love to you @officialmelb! @rorymcphee is a very lucky man! xx.”

Geri Halliwell, also known as “Ginger Spice,” was also absent.

The second wedding ceremony, per The Sun, will be a destination wedding, requiring the newlyweds to travel abroad for the bash.

[From People]

After the pictures of Baby Spice surfaced, there were definitely some people online who were wondering why Victoria Beckham, Mel C, and Geri Halliwell weren’t there. Thankfully, the answer is quite simple: they had previous commitments! (Victoria and David actually celebrated their wedding anniversary on July 4.) I do selfishly hope that we get a full reunion at the second wedding. The last time that happened was for Victoria’s 50th birthday party in April 2024. If they are all at the second party, I’m gonna need David Beckham to post more videos of them singing together, thankyouverymuch.

At first, I wondered if a second wedding was always a part of the plan due to size restrictions at The Crypt, but their website says that it has a capacity of 350. (It also says that only around 30 couples are allowed to get married there each year, so it really is very exclusive.) Now, I think they justwant to soak up all of the love and joy they can get, and who can blame them? According to The Daily Mail, Mel and Rory’s second wedding ceremony will be in Morocco. I bet you that no matter the guests, it will be one heck of a party.

Mel B Spice Girls Weddings

Mel B and Rory McPhee were married at St. Paul’s cathedral in London

Congratulations are in order for Mel B and Rory McPhee! They got married on Saturday after a three-year engagement. The coolest part of this story, however, is that they got married at St. Paul’s Cathedral. The ceremony took place in The Crypt, which you can learn more about here. Rory, 37, and Mel, 50, were friends before they started dating in 2019. According to Mel, they got together while he was helping her treat her hair after she cut it off and dyed it blonde post-divorce. Well, look at them now, getting married in the same historic church as Princess Diana and King Charles II. The bride wore a custom Josephine Scott mermaid-style dress while the groom wore a kilt.

Melanie “Mel B” Brown is married! The Spice Girls star, 50, tied the knot with hairstylist Rory McPhee in a romantic ceremony in The Crypt of St. Paul’s Cathedral in London, England, on Saturday, July 5.

Mel B wore an ivory custom gown from Josephine Scott for her nuptials, and later changed into a dress from designer Justin Alexander. “Mel was a dream to work with, bringing her own sense of style to the occasion,” Caroline Black, the owner of Evelie Bridal Boutiques in London, who helped the musician pick out her wedding attire, tells PEOPLE.

Following the ceremony was a star-studded reception at the Shangri-La Hotel inside The Shard, the United Kingdom’s tallest building. Among the celebrity guests in attendance were “Baby Spice” Emma Bunton, plus Cara Delevingne, Katherine Ryan and Daisy Lowe.

Mel B’s three daughters were her bridesmaids. Scary Spice shares her eldest daughter, Phoenix, 26, with her first ex-husband, Jimmy Gulzar. The former couple were married from 1998 to 2000. Mel B’s second daughter, Angel Iris, 18, is from her previous relationship with ex-boyfriend Eddie Murphy. The bride’s youngest daughter, Madison, 13, is shared with her second ex-husband Stephen Belafonte, whom she was married to from 2007 to 2017.

The America’s Got Talent: Fantasy League judge was permitted to marry McPhee, 37, at St. Paul’s Cathedral — the same church where Princess Diana and then-Prince Charles married in July 1981 — because she received the distinction of becoming a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) from Prince William in 2022 for her work bringing awareness to domestic violence issues.

“It’s a big deal because when you get married there — not many people are allowed to get married there. You have to be kind of special,” Mel B shared of the iconic church on the May 14 episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

[From People]

I’m very sorry to inform you all that I am not the Menswear Guy. I have no idea if Rory’s kilt is the proper fit or whatever, but my untrained opinion thinks it looks nice and proper. I dig it. I am a huge fan of both bold and bright colors, so I would have liked Mel’s bouquet of white roses in a shade of red that matched Rory’s kilt. As for Mel’s dress I absolutely love how the beading cascades down around her arms. I don’t even really mind the buttons going down the back. It’s tasteful however it looks like a turtle neck and we are in the middle of July. She was probably trying to be respectful of the venue, though, and I appreciate that she made the effort.

I’m not shocked that she didn’t wear a Victoria Beckham design. Victoria’s dresses have a certain aesthetic and I don’t think Mel shares it. It was nice to learn that Mel’s eldest daughter, Phoenix, wore a VB design, though. Hopefully that will prevent us from getting three-plus years of tabloid stories about two Spice Girls feuding because of bad blood over a wedding dress. Plus Victoria commented congratulations on Mel’s Instagram post from the wedding and shared it on her Instagram story. Emma Bunton showing up was nice, though. She looked so pretty! The Elder Millennial in me always gets excited whenever I see evidence that the Spice Girls are still friends.

Jeff Bezos Kim Kardashian Lauren Sanchez Weddings

Lauren Sanchez wore Atelier Versace for the final night of wedding festivities

Here are some post-wedding clean-up photos from Venice. Even after Lauren Sanchez and Jeff Bezos’s Friday wedding, all of their celebrity guests stuck around for various parties and receptions over the weekend. For Saturday night’s post-wedding reception, Lauren wore a custom Versace gown and posed on a balcony like she was trying to channel Evita Peron. This was supposed to be a “pajama-themed” party, with various celebrities trying to glam up pajama-themed looks. Why… why did Lauren wear Atelier Versace to something pajama-themed?? I’m also including a pic of Kim Kardashian rocking up to the party in lingerie, looking like the saddest call girl ever.

So… more clean-up on this mess. Lauren and Jeff finally left Venice on Sunday, and I have no idea where they’ll honeymoon. They tend to stick around Europe for their vacations, so my guess is that they will honeymoon in Europe, perhaps they’ll take his yacht around Greece or something. Katie Couric also openly mocked the wedding on social media, writing: “Welcome to the eighties — when big hair and conspicuous consumption ruled. Apparently tacky is back.” Usually, I don’t agree with Couric about anything, but she’s right. “Tacky” IS back. It’s not just Bezos and Sanchez, it’s the current administration, the dumbing down of America, the terrible fashion trends right now, it’s everything. It’s all so tacky. Incidentally, it looks like Bezos gave Lauren some new wedding bling:
