This week, Bad Bunny was confirmed as the Super Bowl Halftime headlining performer. Bad Bunny (Benito) is already a global superstar, and it’s clear that the NFL and Roc Nation are giving some fan-service to the fastest-growing demographic of football fans: Latinos, South Americans, Latin-Americans, and Spanish-speakers. The fact that Bad Bunny is also a political choice is interesting too – Benito has spoken out just this year about how he will not tour in the US because he doesn’t want “f–king ICE” to come to his concerts and start rounding up his fans. Well, the MAGA cult has reacted in exactly the way you’d expect: screaming, crying and throwing up about how Bad Bunny’s songs are largely in Spanish and how he needs to be “deported.” MAGAts are genuinely that stupid, they have never understood that Benito is Puerto Rican and therefore an American citizen. Well, now Corey Lewandowski – a member of Trump’s inner circle – has threatened football fans and Super Bowl attendees because of Bad Bunny.

Donald Trump’s former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski appeared on Benny Johnson’s web interview series “The Benny Show” and warned that ICE agents will be present at the 2026 Super Bowl, where Bad Bunny is set to perform the Halftime Show.

Notably, the Halftime Show, presented by Apple Music, is Bad Bunny’s only U.S. concert appearance that’s set for 2026 at this time, as his highly-anticipated Debí Tirar Más Fotos World Tour, which is scheduled to run from December through July 2026, is not stopping in the states. Bad Bunny told I-D magazine last month that his fear of ICE raids was part of the reason why he skipped touring in the U.S.

When Johnson asked Lewandowski if “ICE will have enforcement at the Super Bowl” where Bad Bunny is performing, the Trump advisor responded: “There is nowhere you can provide safe haven to people who are in this country illegally. Not the Super Bowl and nowhere else. We will find you and apprehend you and put you in a detention facility and deport you. Know that is a very real situation under this administration, which is contrary to how it used to be.”

“It’s so shameful they’ve decided to pick somebody who seems to hate America so much to represent them at the Halftime Show,” Lewandowski said about Bad Bunny. “We should be trying to be inclusive, not exclusive. There are plenty of great bands and entertainment people who could be playing at that show that would be bringing people together and not separating them.”

He concluded, “If there are illegal aliens, I don’t care if it’s a concert for Johnny Smith or Bad Bunny or anybody else. … We’re going to do enforcement everywhere. We are going to make Americans safe. That is a directive from the president. If you’re in this country illegally, go home.”

“There is nowhere you can provide safe haven to people who are in this country illegally.” True story: ICE has illegally detained American citizens and thousands of immigrants who were on the path to citizenship within America’s immigration system. ICE has arrested and deported people who had legal status, ICE has detained people for “looking foreign” and ICE has deported people who had work visas. But the larger point is the threat, that ICE will “raid” the Super Bowl and start arresting people who have paid for tickets. And if you ask me, Benito doesn’t hate America, he just sees these f–ked up authoritarians for who they are.

For what it’s worth, I actually thought Adele would have been an interesting choice for the Super Bowl Halftime Show. Like, I actually thought that they could have found a way to make it really cool and moving. But it turns out, that was just a random rumor. Next year’s Super Bowl Halftime performer will be…Bad Bunny. Roc Nation produces the Halftime Show for the NFL, and it looks like they want the controversy of this. Bad Bunny (Benito) recently spoke out about the Trump administration and ICE in widely-published comments. Benito refuses to tour in the US because “f–king ICE could be outside” and he doesn’t want anything to happen to his fans in America. Choosing Bad Bunny as the Halftime performer is a HUGE f–k you to ICE and to the Trump admin.

Bad Bunny will be headlining Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show, set to kick off Feb. 8, 2026, at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara, Calif., he announced via Instagram Sunday. The Reggaeton superstar, 31, shared the exciting news with a video — set to his hit song “Callaita” — of him sitting on top of a goal post in a football end zone. He captioned the social media post, “Super Bowl LX. Bay Area. February 2026. #AppleMusicHalftime.”

Bad Bunny said in a press release obtained by Page Six following the announcement, “What I’m feeling goes beyond myself. It’s for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture, and our history.”

He added in Spanish, “Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL,” which translates to, “Go and tell your grandmother, that we are the halftime show of the super bowl.”

Bad Bunny is fresh off concluding his sold-out residency in Puerto Rico, which recently made history as the most-watched Amazon Music livestream ever, per Rolling Stone. The Grammy winner is also no stranger to the Super Bowl stage. He was a special guest when Shakira and Jennifer Lopez co-headlined the 2020 halftime show in Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium.

I’m really proud of Benito, and I find it amazing that he would take this gig even with his clearly-stated reasons for not touring in America these days. He wanted to give his American fans something, at least one performance in America. But the Super Bowl is global as well, and Bad Bunny is already a global superstar. The NFL is lucky to book him. I’m assuming that this deal came with several caveats, including security and the NFL having Benito’s back if he speaks out again about ICE and the Trump administration.

I hate to say this because I usually think so highly of Halle Berry’s beauty and style, but I absolutely loathed Halle’s Met Gala look this year. Halle is all about the history of Black fashion and Halle IS part of that history. She could have done so many different things with the theme, and instead, she wore this LaQuan Smith which is… just bad. It’s unflattering, the design itself is not good (to put it mildly) and Halle – one of the most beautiful women in the world – looks tired, drawn and cartoonish.

Ciara & Russell Wilson- she also wore LaQuan Smith. I thought they were one of the best coordinated couple-looks. They looked amazing.

Hunter Schafer wore Prada and she was widely cited as one of the best on-theme looks of the night. She really worked this!!

Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade, both in Prada. I feel like they could have and should have gone even bigger here. This feels so subdued.

Here are some photos of Kim Kardashian at the 2024 Met Gala. I saw some fashion talk about how she still represents Balenciaga and yet she didn’t wear anything from her friend Demna (the chief designer). Kim stopped repping Balenciaga a few years back, but she does still wear the brand sometimes. This year, she decided not to destroy a significant vintage gown and instead went with a Maison Margiela custom piece by John Galliano. The point of this is to say “Kim’s 19-inch waist is snatched.” Indeed, she probably had surgery to get her waist that tiny, plus there’s obviously an intense corseting situation happening here. All in all though, she just looks uncomfortable. In the videos of Kim walking the carpet, she looked absolutely miserable and like she couldn’t even breathe properly. What women do for fashion, huh?

I also have to wonder if the cardigan was always part of the plan. The way she was clutching it in a particular way, it makes me wonder if something on the dress broke and the cardigan was a quick fix. Her hair also needs a quick fix – she went back to blonde last week and I knew she was doing it for the Met Gala. Congrats, it looks like sh-t. Stop frying your hair!

Kendall Jenner & Bad Bunny have broken up after ten months of dating

While I know a lot of people had strong feelings about Kylie Jenner and Bad Bunny, I mostly ignored them because I found the whole situation so odd. I believe they were a real couple, but I also believe that they were never super-serious or in it for the long haul. I was right – Kendall and Benito have split after about ten months together:

Bad Bunny and Kendall Jenner have called it quits. A source tells PEOPLE that the Puerto Rican superstar, 29, and the model, 28, are no longer a couple.

The pair were last spotted together at the Saturday Night Live afterparty in October, when Bad Bunny took on double duty as host and musical guest on the show.

Representatives for both Bad Bunny and Jenner did not respond to PEOPLE’s requests for comment.

The recording artist (whose real name is Benito Martínez Ocasio) and Jenner first sparked romance rumors in February, when they were spotted joining Hailey Bieber and Justin Bieber on a double date.

Yeah, it doesn’t sound like two people with broken hearts or anything. Entertainment Tonight had more info from a “source” who is probably Kris Jenner:

A source tells ET, “Kendall and Bad Bunny have been doing their own things lately and things slowly started to fizzle out between them. They both knew going into this that it likely wouldn’t be a forever type of relationship and that was mutually understood from the get-go. They have crazy busy schedules and know they’re still young and have a lot more to experience individually before settling down.”

The source says that there “isn’t any negativity between them and they still want the best for one another.”

“Kendall’s family still thinks highly of him,” the source adds. “They just want her to be with whoever makes her happy, treats her with love and respect, and someone that understands and can handle the attention that comes along with dating her with poise and grace.”

Benito moved to LA, so Kendall was basically his LA Introductory Girlfriend. Hope they had fun and I hope Benito’s fans don’t stay mad that he dated… someone like Kendall.

By all accounts, Bad Bunny is a really good guy. He eschews the performative machismo and embraces his femininity. He’s an outspoken LGBTQ ally. He’s raised a lot of money for charity, especially for Puerto Rico. His real name is Benito, and he’s 28 years old. He recently bought a home in LA, and now he’s getting to know his new city. Of course the Kardashian-Jenners descended on him like vultures! Kendall Jenner has been off-and-on with Devin Booker for a few years, and there were rumors that Kenny and Devin were back “on” just a few weeks ago. But Kendall still hooked up with Benito when she got the chance. And now the Kardashian Machine is briefing People Magazine about it.

Kendall Jenner is hanging out with a new man. A source tells PEOPLE that the model, 27, and rapper Bad Bunny, 28, “are spending time together.”

“Kendall recently started hanging out with him,” adds another source. “They were introduced by friends. He moved to L.A. a few weeks ago and bought a house. She likes him and is having fun,” the source continues. “He is different from guys that she dated in the past. He is very charming.”

On Saturday, Jenner and Bunny were spotted leaving the same Los Angeles restaurant after a reported double date with Hailey and Justin Bieber, according to TMZ. While Jenner sported leather pants, black boots and a gray oversized jacket for the outing at Wally’s in Beverly Hills, the Puerto Rican singer donned cream pants, a brown jacket and a khaki-colored hat.

Reps for Jenner and Bad Bunny did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

Kendall Jenner & Bad Bunny possibly made out in a club & left together??

One of the funniest subplots of the Grammy Awards was Taylor Swift getting super-friendly with Bad Bunny, aka Benito Antonio Martinez Ocasio. They posed together at the awards show and Taylor put her arms around him and everything. Her fans were freaking out and his fans were freaking out. It was amazing. But not as amazing as this: at some point in recent weeks, Bad Bunny was seen making out with Kendall Jenner at an LA club.

This whole thing started with a Deuxmoi blind item about “this famous model sister was seen playing tonsil hockey with Bad Bunny at a private L.A. club last night.” Soon after, Deuxmoi solved their own blind, identifying the mystery sister as Kendall and claiming that after their club makeout session, Kendall left the club and Bad Bunny followed just seconds later in his own car.

Do I believe it? Eh. Kind of? I think…people make out in clubs. I think people still have one-night-stands or brief, fun hookups. I don’t think Kendall and Benito make much sense as a serious couple, but I will totally believe that they were both down for a hookup or a makeout session. It’s also interesting because Kendall was supposed to be back “on” with Devin Booker, her on-and-off boyfriend of several years. Kendall and Devin *just* went to the Super Bowl together, alongside Justin Bieber and Hailey. So… that’s interesting.
