Divorces infidelity Keith Urban Nicole Kidman

Nicole Kidman filed for divorce from Keith Urban, and there is another woman

I was going to marvel at how quickly People Magazine threw together their Nicole Kidman-Keith Urban separation cover story, but this is one of those times when People’s editors might have wanted to hit pause for a day or two. Just hours after People’s cover dropped on Tuesday, Nicole Kidman filed for divorce from Keith.

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are getting divorced. The actress has filed for divorce from the country star, PEOPLE confirms, just one day after news broke that the couple had separated after 19 years of marriage. TMZ was first to report the news.

Kidman filed for divorce on Tuesday, Sept. 30 in Nashville, where the couple has lived since 2007, according to court documents obtained by PEOPLE. She listed their date of separation as the date of filing, and cited irreconcilable differences as reason for the split.

The pair were married in June 2006 after meeting at a gala in Los Angeles the year prior, and share daughters Sunday Rose, 17, and Faith Margaret, 14.

[From People]

Well, it’s interesting. The timing feels significant. My guess is that Nicole initially thought this summer could be a trial separation, but Keith was already done with the marriage when Nicole left for England. Note: TMZ’s report on Nicole’s divorce filing has way more information. Apparently, Nic and Keith have already worked out a parenting plan/custodial agreement for their teenage daughters, and they’ve apparently worked out the child support already too. There’s a prenup as well and it doesn’t look like there will be a nasty fight over money (here’s hoping). TMZ says Nicole and Keith have spent a few months hammering out these details, but “our sources say Nicole made an abrupt decision to file today.”

Meanwhile, I already had a certain theory about what happened and my gut was telling me that Keith has a side-chick. That was the energy, that HE left Nicole, that he decided to move out of their home, that he got another place, that he was completely done with the marriage. Nine times out of ten, when a man is making those moves, he’s got a jumpoff waiting in the wings. Well, surprise surprise:

Keith Urban separated from Nicole Kidman and is already involved with a new woman … at least that’s what Nicole and Keith’s inner circle and the Nashville community believes. Multiple sources connected to Nicole say “all the signs point to the fact Keith is with another woman. Let’s just say, Nicole doesn’t dispute that, but she’s still shocked over it.”

One Nicole source adds, “It’s all over Nashville.”

None of the sources can pinpoint the timing. If Keith is indeed with another woman, they could have hooked up after the separation.

[From TMZ]

Yeah. Not so surprising after all. And I bet it is all over Nashville, most country-music scandals are part of Nashville’s gossip mill. I bet tons of people knew before Nicole, and that’s a horrible feeling. What else? People Mag’s sources said that Nicole felt like the writing was on the wall when Keith got his own place. Sources also told People: “She feels very betrayed. Nicole’s hurt and feels betrayed… It’s devastating to her. She’s shocked.” Man, Keith f–king sucks.

Breakups infidelity Keith Urban Nicole Kidman

It sounds like 57-year-old Keith Urban was having an affair with a 25-year-old

Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban’s divorce is so retro. They’ve got TMZ and People Magazine going tit-for-tat with exclusives, there was a slow reveal of Keith’s affair, and Nicole’s team is definitely putting it out there that Keith betrayed her. All of that has been revealed in just the past 24 hours!! My earlier post was up-to-date as of late Tuesday, but since then, Nicole has started going to the mattresses. A source close to Nicole told People: “Their split is turning dramatic. Nicole’s hurt and feels betrayed. She wanted to save their marriage and believed that she could, but it seems he’s already moved on.” As in, even though they were clearly working out the terms of their divorce, Nicole still believed that reconciliation was possible, but Keith wasn’t interested. Because he’s already moved on. He’s BEEN moving on.

A recent Keith Urban performance has surfaced following his split from Nicole Kidman.

As fans speculate about what may have happened between the two, Urban, 57, caught more attention recently after he changed the lyrics to his song “The Fighter,” featuring Carrie Underwood, during a recent performance.

As seen in a clip from the performance shared on Instagram by Urban’s utility player and rising country star, Maggie Baugh, a lyric from the song was changed to include her name as the two performed together.

The original line “When they’re tryna get to you, baby I’ll be the fighter” was sung as “When they’re tryna get to you, Maggie I’ll be your guitar player” by Urban. Baugh, 25, added two emojis over the video.

“Did he just say that????,” she captioned the clip. Baugh shared the footage on Saturday, Sept. 26, before news of Urban and Kidman’s split.

[From People]

Yeah, a 25-year-old? I bet Nashville gossips are having a field day. It’s just so f–king typical, and such a cliche. Mr. Flat Iron Bronzer was cheating on his wife with a 25-year-old. She’s LESS than half his age. Additionally, Nicole’s team keeps pointing at this situation with Keith as the real reason for everything that happened. Another source told People: “Keith has not been honest. She wanted to save their marriage and believed that she could, but it seems he’s already moved on. It’s devastating to her. She’s shocked.”

The only thing I’ve really seen from pro-Urban sources is the suggestion that Nicole “works too much.” Nicole does work a lot – her schedule has been crazy in recent years. But… Keith tours. A lot. He travels a lot and works as well. Nicole was always the more successful partner in this marriage too. Sources close to Nicole pushed back on that “Nic works too much” narrative by saying that Nicole “truly thrived working again. She’s been feeling amazing and very happy about having a career again. [Sunday and Faith] love seeing their mom work. They are very supportive of their mom,” but with Keith, “it’s been the opposite. Keith was used to her being supportive of his career. He’s not been as supportive as she hoped.” Yeah, he’s going with “I had to bang a 25-year-old because my wife is so successful and hard-working!”

Brittany Furlan infidelity Tommy Lee

Brittany Furlan, Tommy Lee’s wife, admits she was catfished into affair

Last week, TMZ reported that Tommy Lee and his wife of six years, Brittany Furlan, had separated due to his drinking. A lot of people were like, ”Yeah that makes sense,” and went about their day. Over the weekend, Brittany made a seven-minute-long TikTok (below) admitting that starting in early April, she was catfished by someone pretending to be musician Ronnie Radke. Not only was she catfished into having a Snapchat affair, she confessed the whole thing to Tommy, who then allegedly went apesh-t on Radke. In return, Radke has been harassing Brittany “for weeks” and blowing up her private life online, sharing screenshots of text messages and spilling behind-the-scenes tea. Brittany begged him to stop doing it, but he refuses to because Tommy keeps “yelling” at him. Cease-and-desist orders are allegedly in place. So much drama.

Brittany Furlan Lee is breaking her silence on her rumored split from husband Tommy Lee — and addressing claims that she was seduced by a catfish posing as another rock star. In a TikTok posted on Saturday, May 17, Furlan, 38, admitted to exchanging messages with someone she believed to be Falling in Reverse frontman Ronnie Radke on Snapchat during a “tough time” in her six-year marriage.

Furlan’s seven-minute video comes after both she and Lee, 62, shared cryptic messages online, as well as a TMZ report said they have been living separately amid concerns over Lee’s alleged drinking behavior. It also comes after Radke, 41, alleged that Furlan was catfished by someone pretending to be him in a series of Instagram Stories posts — and claimed that Lee had threatened him over the situation.

“Obviously, I’m in a hotel right now. I’ve been going through a really tough time in my marriage, which was none of anyone’s f—— business, but he’s made it everyone’s business,” Furlan said in the TikTok, referring to Radke.

She went on to explain that after receiving messages from someone she believed to be Radke at the time, the Snapchat user “started trying to seduce me.”

Furlan said she didn’t save any of the messages because she “didn’t want to be shady” and is “in a vulnerable place.” Radke, meanwhile, shared a screenshot of “the only message she saved” from the alleged catfish — an NSFW text allegedly supplied by Furlan — on his TikTok while attempting to clear his name.

“He says this isn’t him. That’s fine, whatever. I don’t give a f—,” Furlan continued in her TikTok. She then showed alleged Instagram DMs between herself and the real Radke before asking him to leave her alone.

“It’s a catfish, cool. I got catfished. Why are you still harassing me?” Furlan then said. “Why are you sending me hundreds of messages? Why are you trolling me? I don’t give a f—. I unfollowed you. Leave me alone. That’s it.”

She also corroborated Radke’s claim that Lee confronted him over the catfish situation, which was previously evidenced only by a screenshot of the Mötley Crüe drummer’s alleged threats in an expired Instagram Stories post.

“Basically, I told my husband everything,” Furlan said. “I said, you know, ‘I’ve been talking to whoever I thought this was on Snapchat — he says it’s not him, cool, whatever — ‘cause I’m a good person. I mean, I’m not a good person for talking to someone while married. I’ve been going through a lot in my marriage. No excuse, whatever.”

“I come clean to my husband, my husband freaks out, messages him, that’s how this all started,” she added. Outside of his alleged DMs to Radke, Lee also publicly nodded to the ongoing drama in his marriage in an Instagram post on May 16 that simply said: “Who’s been catfished?”

Furlan finished her video with a plea for Radke to stop discussing her marriage with Lee and relationship with the alleged catfish publicly.

“You’ve blown up my whole life on social media,” she told Radke. “This is embarrassing for me, embarrassing for my husband. This whole f—— thing is embarrassing. I’ve been going through struggling with s— at home. I’m in a f—— hotel. Like, leave us f—— alone, bro. Like, if you want people to be obsessed with you, like, I don’t know, get another f—— hobby, dude. This is just some serious narcissist s—. I’m done. Anyone can think of it what they will. All good.”

“I’ve had enough,” the former Vine star added in the caption. “He’s been harassing me for two weeks. He’s been sent three cease and desists and has not listened. For the final time- Leave me alone Ronnie.”

In response, Radke continued to try to prove that a catfish messaged Furlan, not him, and insisted in a TikTok that “the only reason” he went public with any of the drama is because Lee “will not stop yelling at me and stuff.”

“Imagine you grow up looking up to somebody like Tommy Lee,” Radke said, “and then all of a sudden out of nowhere he goes, ‘You’re f—— my wife.’ And I’m like, ‘What. I have no idea what you’re talking about.’ ”

He also followed this video up with another TikTok, this time attempting to prove that he has never had Snapchat downloaded on his phone.

According to posts from Radke and Furlan, lawyers are involved on both sides.

[From People]

Like I said, it’s a whoooole mess. I honestly don’t even know who to root for here. On one hand, I feel badly that Brittany got taken advantage of when she was in a bad place. That could happen to anyone, but she still made questionable decisions here. Plus, she is absolutely not giving us the full story. I’m guessing there were pictures exchanged that crossed several lines. On the other hand, I can imagine things from Radke’s POV, where he’s allegedly minding his own business and then bam! he has an angry, maybe drunk husband in his face, accusing him of having improper relations with his wife. I personally don’t think he needs to continually come at Brittany in public and ignore cease-and-desist orders, though. That feels super extra.

Anyway, back to the whole catfishing aspect. That is wild and I keep wondering if it was someone that she knows IRL who started it as a joke and then just took it way too far. It just feels very targeted.

Note by CB: All of the videos below are NSFW or around kids and some are offensive.

Breakups David Harbour infidelity Lily Allen

David Harbour is dating a 27-year-old model after his split from Lily Allen

Earlier this month, we got confirmation that David Harbour and Lily Allen have separated. Lily and David met on the celebrity dating app Raya in early 2019 and got married in Vegas in September 2020. Before we heard they had separated, there were rumors that Lily learned that David had reactivated his Raya profile. Lily denied this was the case on an episode of her podcast, Miss Me?, but admitted that she wasn’t in a good place and was “spiraling,” so she was going to take some time off.

Lily is reportedly “devastated” by the separation. It has also been really hard on her daughters, Ethel Mary, 13, and Marnie Rose, 12, both of whom were close with their stepfather. As for David, he’s dating a 27-year-old model named Ellie Fallon. You don’t say.

David Harbour has reportedly moved on with a much younger woman after splitting from his estranged wife, Lily Allen. The 49-year-old “Stranger Things” star’s rumored romance with aspiring model Ellie Fallon, 27, is heating up after they were allegedly spotted on a New Year’s trip to India, according to the Daily Mail.

Insiders told the outlet that Allen is “very upset” about her ex’s new relationship and was allegedly made aware of it when Fallon shared of photo of herself smoking a cigar from Harbour’s favorite brand via Instagram in October.

“Seeing the picture Ellie posted of herself smoking a cigar, taken weeks before Lily and David called it quits, has convinced her that Ellie and David had been seeing each other before they split,” a source told the Daily Mail.

“After all, how many 26-year-olds smoke cigars?”

Fallon and the actor reportedly met in Georgia, where the latter had been staying while filming Season 5 of “Stranger Things” last year. Per photos obtained by Deumoxi, the rumored couple were photographed together in Georgia on Saturday. The two appeared to rush while walking to two separate vehicles.

[From Page Six]

Ugh. This also puts that whole “putting parental controls on each other’s phone” thing in a completely new light for me now. I think most people assumed that this Raya/cheating thing had only been going on for a couple of months because that’s when the gossip started. If I’m being generous, it sounds like David was cheating as early as October. (Ellie’s cigar post is from Oct. 27.) He was in Georgia to film Stranger Things for almost a year, so who knows how long they’ve been hooking up. That’s so sh-tty and I feel bad for Lily and her daughters. I hope that Lily is taking care of herself so she can be there for the girls. Also, I can’t help but wonder who tipped the paps and Deumoxi off about David and Ellie being together in Georgia over the weekend and in India for New Year’s. I can’t decide if my money is on Lily’s camp to out them publicly or if Ellie did it to raise her own profile.

infidelity jon bon jovi Marriage

Jon Bon Jovi ‘got away with murder’ early in his marriage, ‘I’m a rock ‘n’ roll star’

New Jersey rockstar hero Jon Bon Jovi and his wife, Dorothea Hurley, have been married for 35 years. In fact, their 35th wedding anniversary was on Monday, April 29. In honor of their anniversary (not really, lol), Jon’s been giving some personal interviews lately. Jon’s promoting his documentary, Thank You Goodnight: The Bon Jovi Story, which is streaming on Hulu. Last week, Jon told The Independent that he hadn’t been “a saint” during their marriage, admitting that he indulged in the “wonderful clichés of rock stardom.” (Psst, he meant groupies.) Dorothea and Jon have four children together, Stephanie, 30, Jesse, 29, Jake, 21 (engaged to Millie Bobbie Brown), and Romeo, 20. In an interview with ABC’s Michael Strahan earlier this week, Jon elaborated a bit more on his past infidelities, explaining, “I’m a rock ‘n’ roll star.”

Jon Bon Jovi has more to confess. After making headlines for saying he was not a “saint” in his marriage to his high school sweetheart, Dorothea Hurley, the rock star admitted to getting “away with murder.”

Bon Jovi, 62, spoke to Michael Strahan about his early days in the music industry during ABC’s “Halfway There” special Monday, joking that he was “not saying that there weren’t 100 girls in [his] life” at the time.

“I’m a rock ‘n’ roll star. I’m not a saint,” he said. “I’m Jon Bon Jovi. It was pretty good.

“But if you think I was ever going to jeopardize … anything for believing the narcissist in me was real? What a stupid thing to do. What kind of excesses does a man need that’s going to fuel that fire? It’s just not worth it.”

The Grammy winner went on to praise Hurley, 61, for not being “afraid to call [him] out on something.”

However, he added, “She’s also there when I fall. And I’m there for her when she falls. No matter where I went in my career, the ups or the downs, we went there together.”

The couple began dating in 1980, four years before the release of Bon Jovi’s eponymous first album. The duo briefly split in 1985 before reconciling and eventually eloping in Las Vegas in 1989. Bon Jovi and the karate instructor share four children — Stephanie, 30, Jesse, 29, Jake, 21, and Romeo, 20 — with the third making headlines for his 2023 engagement to “Stranger Things” star Millie Bobby Brown.

While sharing marriage advice for the young couple with “Good Morning America” viewers Thursday, the “Livin’ on a Prayer” singer said “every day is a challenge and a change.”

He encouraged Jake and Brown, 20, to focus on “growing together.”

[From Page Six]

Okay, so, what goes on between Jon and Dorothea in terms of the rules and terms of their marriage is obviously strictly their business. It sounds like Dorothea knows exactly who she married, has come to terms with it, and accepts Jon for all of his weaknesses and flaws. And if that works for them, then power to them. They clearly still love each other 35 years and hundreds of female groupies later. That said, I would be sooo pissed if my husband and I had an agreement like that and he kept giving interviews alluding to how much he cheated on me while simultaneously praising me. If anything, I’d probably want to be a part of any of that kind of talk, similar to how Oliver Hudson’s wife was a part of his big infidelity confessions. This isn’t the first time Jon’s alluded to being unfaithful, either. He’s done it several times in past interviews, too. No one’s marriage is perfect, but I really hope she’s okay with all of this sharing.

Affairs Amy Robach Divorces infidelity Scandals TJ Holmes

Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes’ exes, Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig, are dating

In early November, Amy Robach and T.J. Holmes went Instagram official and announced that they would be releasing a podcast together, promising that nothing would be off limits. Well, the first episode of that podcast, titled “Amy & T.J.” finally dropped yesterday. I’ll talk about that a little more in a minute, though, because their attempt to set the record straight and deny that they had an affair got eclipsed by some juicier news. Page Six got a conveniently-timed scoop that their exes, Andrew Shue and Marilee Fiebig, are now dating. How very Shania Twain of them.

This is the happy ending we didn’t see coming. The ex-spouses of scandalous news couple T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach have gotten closer, Page Six has exclusively learned.

Marilee Fiebig and Andrew Shue are dating, according to multiple sources. We’re told the couple have been dating for about six months after bonding over the traumatic experience of being cheated on.

“It turned into something else, and they’re connected over their values. It’s bigger than the affair now,” one source said.

We’re told the hurt is over, and the duo “has moved on.”

“They’re not heartbroken and sad,” said a source of Shue, 56, and Fiebig, 46. “Everyone has moved on.”

[From Page Six]

I love this for them. And even more so, I love how this news, which includes the tidbit that they still believe they were cheated on, dropped just as T.J. and Amy were making headlines for their “tell all” about just how much they weren’t cheating. During the first episode, in what they probably thought would give them headlines for a few days, Amy and T.J. provided more details about their relationship, including a denial that they were even cheating in the first place. They even timed the show to be released on the one-year anniversary of the day they were “told not to come into work.”

“To be clear, we were outed as being in a relationship, but everyone else thought we were being outed as adulterers — being outed as cheating on our spouses — and it wasn’t the case because the odd thing is, the day those pictures were taken and the day that article was released that outed us, we both at that point were in divorce proceedings,” T.J. said.

Amy added that they “had attorneys, mediators, we were in the middle of divorces.” When photos of her and T.J. were first taken, Amy’s ex-husband, Andrew Shue, had moved out of their house “three months earlier.” T.J. noted that he was already living separately from his now ex-wife Marilee Fiebig.

Amy acknowledged that “relationships are hard, they’re messy, they’re not perfect. We have fought for love, and I can say I have never been happier. I am with my best friend.” T.J. gushed that he’s the “happiest and healthiest that I’ve been in my life.” He continued, “Bottom line we have not said this. I’m in love with this woman and she’s in love with me and we are planning a life together.”

[From Hollywood Life]

Sure, Jan. This is starting to sound like a “thou dost protest too much” situation. But really, it feels like they’re trying to reset the timeline here. Here’s where they tell on themselves: “When photos of her and T.J. were first taken, Amy’s ex-husband had moved out of their house ‘three months earlier.’ T.J. noted that he was already living separately from his now ex-wife Marilee Fiebig.”

I’m going to go out on a limb here and presume that their relationship did not start the day the pictures were taken. It’s entirely possible that their spouses found out at least three months prior and that’s why they were all in the process of divorcing. But, okay, guys. Your official story is out there. If we all agree to just say we believe them, maybe they’ll stop talking about it. But really, let’s get back to Andrew and Marilee. A timing with this one. And wheeew, Marilee knows how to get it. She definitely got the better deal here.

Humphrey Bogart infidelity Lauren Bacall

Did Lauren Bacall cheat on Humphrey Bogart with Adlai Stevenson?

Embed from Getty Images

Lauren Bacall is one of my favorite Old Hollywood stars. Her insolent screen persona captivated me the first time I saw her in The Big Sleep. She’s good at playing the hard-boiled, tough-as-nails film noir heroine, but she also has something soft and vulnerable that makes you like her character. Lauren, who in real life went by Betty, fell in love with Humphrey Bogart on the set of To Have and Have Not, when she was 19 and he was 44. (For what it’s worth, Bogie was annoyed when he heard he’d be starring opposite a 19-year-old and complained that he would look like a cradle robber. But then, LOL, they started dating.) Bogie and Bacall got married and starred in four films together, three of which are very good. They’ve long been held up as one of the legendary couples of that era, along with Tracy and Hepburn, Liz and Dick, and Frank and Ava. Their marriage was supposedly the happiest one in Hollywood. But the 25-year-age gap created a power imbalance in the relationship that never really went away. Bogie was rumored to have had a long-running affair with the lady who made his toupees (of all people!), even while he was married to Betty. And Betty definitely had eyes for Frank Sinatra at one point, who was a supportive friend when Bogie was dying of esophageal cancer in 1957. But a new book about the Bogie and Bacall marriage is alleging that Betty also had eyes for politician Adlai Stevenson. Emma Chance at Pajiba has a great writeup about this story:

Hollywood historian William J. Mann’s latest venture is Bogie & Bacall: The Surprising True Story of Hollywood’s Greatest Love Affair. In a passage from the book given to Entertainment Weekly before it was officially published, Mann uses Bacall’s own words from her memoir to investigate “Bacall’s fascination with United States politician and presidential candidate Adlai Stevenson,” and it becomes “clear the two had, at the least, an emotional affair, if not also a physical one. An affair that Bogart was somewhat wary of.”

Bacall and Bogart joined Stevenson on his campaign in 1952. She wrote in her memoir that he would “catch my eye and wave and smile at me,” and that he “needed a wife, someone to share his life with.”

“I fantasized that I would be a long-distance partner … a good friend he could feel free to talk with about anything.” She goes on to describe their friendship in more detail, and her feelings about it. Basically, she wanted him and struggled with that wanting because, duh, she was married.

[From Pajiba]

And here’s a section from the excerpt of the new book Bogie & Bacall:

On election night, Bogie had a virus and stayed back at the hotel. Bacall did not stick around to care for him. “Having come this far,” she wrote, “I was not about to miss anything.” At the governor’s mansion, the expectant jubilation quickly turned into despair as Eisenhower won in a landslide. Bacall was overcome as she listened to Stevenson make his concession speech. “I sobbed my way back to our room,” Bacall wrote, where she found Bogie more upset about running out of quarters for the pay TV set than he was about the election. “Until Adlai Stevenson, I was a perfectly happy woman with a husband whom I loved—a beautiful son and daughter—some success in my work—a beautiful home—money—not a care in the world.” But Stevenson, she wrote, “shook me up completely.” On the flight back to L.A., “I was far away from Bogie,” Bacall admitted, “my thoughts on the man I had left behind.”

[From EW]

The excerpt goes on to detail an emotional affair that went on for months, and Betty definitely tried to get intimate with him at least once. It was only when she saw another “devoted follower” of his with him at his house that she realized she was just one of a number and then she was over Adlai for good. Betty was so young when she married Bogie–she was 20–and she had never really dated that much before him. I’ve read her memoir (it is superb!) and I think she hints that she was still a virgin when they met. So by the time she was 28, it makes sense that her eye would start to wander. And I think Bogie understood that, too, on some level. Their relationship began as an extramarital affair. When he started seeing Betty, he was still married to Mayo Methot, another actress. Mayo was a violent alcoholic and Bogie made Betty wait around for months while he dithered. Mayo would stop drinking and he’d feel obligated to go back to her to try to make the marriage work. Then Mayo would start drinking again and they’d get in terrific fights and he’d call Betty, angry and despairing, and they’d resume their affair. Betty also had an absent father, so it’s not hard to see why her attraction to 44-year-old Bogie was so overwhelming. And for Bogie, Betty felt like a chance at redemption. It’s all very much like a Lana Del Rey song without the drug references. But to me it’s a fascinating story. This new book is going to be my beach read for sure.
