For months and months, Ana de Armas and Tom Cruise have been stepping out together, mostly in London. Tom is now UK-based, and they’ve been seen at various London restaurants and coming and going from Tom’s fleet of helicopters and planes. Some people, including Ana, suggested that this was all a professional relationship, even a mentorship. Some suggested that they both wanted the “are they dating?” headlines for their separate film promotions this year. But the promotions are over, and Tom and Ana are still being seen together. Tom took her to Vermont this past weekend, where they were photographed holding hands. This explains Ana’s shady “like” for that nasty Nicole Kidman Instagram. But VERMONT?

Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas’ newest mission, should they choose to accept it? A small-town date. Following the pair’s outing to Oasis’ sold-out reunion show in London on July 25, they flew back across the pond and touched down in Woodstock, Vermont, in pictures obtained by TMZ. It was there that their rumored romance was finally confirmed, with the pair holding hands as they walked the quaint streets.

According to TMZ, the Mission Impossible star and Ballerina actress drove through a national park together, went shopping and stopped for ice cream—all hand in hand.

E! News has reached out to reps for both Tom and Ana for comment but has not yet heard back.

The subtle PDA comes after months of apparent dates. Since stepping out together on Valentine’s Day in Madrid, Tom and Ana have since spent time together in London on multiple occasions—Tom flying the Knives Out alum there on a helicopter, in one instance—and enjoyed a sun-filled getaway on the Spanish island of Menorca.

He’s been laying the groundwork for months, showing Ana the best parts of his life and all of the access he has. And then jetting her off to Vermont? Did they go antiquing? For months now, Ana de Armas has been hanging out with Tom Cruise. Rumors have circulated about what these “dates” have been about – possibly a professional mentorship, possibly a genuine friendship, maybe they planned to work together. Very few people believed that Tom and Ana were romantically involved, but sure, those rumors have been around as well. Well, here’s the biggest piece of evidence that Ana and Tom might actually be in a relationship: Ana is now “liking” nasty Instagram posts about Tom’s ex-wife Nicole Kidman. Here’s the evidence:

Per the Daily Mail, Ana “liked a post that criticised the Moulin Rouge star’s denial of cosmetic procedures. ‘When you keep it real #nicolekidman,’ the post was captioned, showing the actress up close while tagging a dermal filler brand as the location.” This is MESSY! Good lord. In case you’re wondering, Ana is 37 years old, Nicole is 58, and Tom is 63. Nicole and Tom rarely speak about each other or their marriage/divorce. When they do reference each other, it’s usually complimentary at this point, like when they did some press around the 25th anniversary of Eyes Wide Shut. Basically, Tom and Nicole are fine with barely thinking or speaking about each other, so why is Tom’s maybe-girlfriend doing all of this? The internet is ripping into Ana as well, comparing her filmography to Nicole’s, and on and on. I mean… Ana deserves that.

I love the John Wick movies. The latest movie in the franchise comes out this Friday, June 6. From the World of John Wick: Ballerina stars Ana de Armas as ballerina assassin Eve Macarro (originally portrayed by Unity Phelan in the 3rd movie). It follows her through her training with The Director, played by Angelica Huston. It’s a spin-off that takes place in between the third and fourth JW movies. Keanu Reeves is still in it! It’s also *sob* Lance Reddick’s final film appearance.

At the LA Ballerina premiere Keanu walked the red carpet with his girlfriend, Alexandra Grant. They held hands and looking amazing. Keanu wore a well-fitting dark-gray suit. Alexandra wore a gorgeous red dress with a plunging neckline and accessorized with a gold clutch and sparkly silver heels. The ruffle on the neckline is really fun, too.

They also sparked engagement rumors because Alexandra is wearing a diamond ring on her left ring finger. (You can’t really see it in these pics.) Whether it was an engagement ring or not, it was also a gorgeous accessory.

Ana de Armas was wearing a custom Louis Vuitton gown. I didn’t like it at first, but the purple color grew on me. It’s very mid-90s Gwyneth-coded.


Catalina Sandino Moreno was in Paolo Sebastian. I think it’s very pretty on her, but it kind of reminds me of the ‘Snow Queen Goes to Hollywood.’ The beaded detailing on the top is so pretty.


Gabriel Byrne was also there wearing a suit in a really nice shade of blue. I have no problem with the classic gray or black suit, but I really love when men go for a non-traditional color.

Here are some photos from last night’s Ballerina premiere in London. Ballerina is part of the John Wick Universe, although the story does not come chronologically after John Wick: Chapter 4. I love Keanu Reeves and I’m happy he created this franchise, but I’ve never watched an entire John Wick movie. Bless him, though. Good for him, truly. Anyway, Ana de Armas plays a ballerina-assassin and Keanu’s John Wick is also in the film. Keanu came out for the London premiere, and they posed together on the carpet. She seems to enjoy Keanu a lot. Keanu was perfectly respectful – he’s an unproblematic face who has never been touchy-feely with his lady costars, you barely ever see him posing with his arms around someone (unless he’s with Sandra Bullock). Ana wore Louis Vuitton for the premiere… like, I think LV has done Ana dirty so often, but I assume that they’ve paying her a lot, so it is what it is. This week, Ana spoke to WWD about all of the Tom Cruise rumors:

Ana de Armas hinted at her relationship with Tom Cruise as the pair continue to spark dating rumors.

“Obviously, everyone knows I’m working with Tom Cruise,” the “Ballerina” star teased during an interview with Women’s Wear Daily published Thursday. De Armas and Cruise are “working on something” with action movie directors Christopher McQuarrie and Doug Liman.

“Those guys are unbelievable at everything they do,” de Armas said in part. “And they’re so lovely and a great team, and the process we’re having is amazing.”

The “Knives Out” actress, 37, also touched on the physical rigors of working with the “Top Gun” actor, 62, and his action movie collaborators. “Of course I’m doing crazy training, as you do when you’re working with Tom. It’s another level that just keeps setting the bar higher and higher. But it’s so much fun. And we’re not only working on that thing that we’re training for, but also a couple other things too. We just got excited.”

So, there you go. She’s not dating Tom Cruise. They’re working together. I would even argue that Tom is probably mentoring her, as he’s done for other actors. Fun fact: Keanu is only two years younger than Tom!

Last week, the cast of Mission: Impossible 8 – The Final Reckoning went to Tokyo for one of their first stops on what will probably be a grueling, months-long promotional tour. If Tom Cruise is going to do anything, it’s run a cast ragged, all to promote their film in every city in the world. The MI films are Tom’s baby – he loves playing Ethan Hunt, he loves doing all of this bonkers stunt work, and he loves this franchise so much. Obviously, Tom has been playing this game for decades and he knows how to work a promo tour. Which is why it’s no surprise that Tom is suddenly being seen everywhere with Ana de Armas. Every week for the past three months, it feels like they’re being spotted by paparazzi, usually in London. It’s always just one pap who sells the photos as mega-exclusives too, so suspicious! So what’s up? Just a little dash of spice for Tom’s MI promo? Or something more?

Last Saturday, Ana de Armas and Tom Cruise were on something of a mission impossible. The two were trying to covertly move through London after attending David Beckham’s 50th birthday at the Michelin-starred restaurant Core in tony Notting Hill. It wasn’t exactly a successful endeavor. Hollywood’s biggest action movie star, 62, and the Cuban actress, 37, were snapped by paparazzi in the backseat of a black SUV leaving the party. In one photograph, Cruise looks at the camera and nonchalantly flashes his famous pearly whites, while de Armas ducks down so that her face can’t be seen.

The picture is the latest incident involving the stars to set tongues wagging and generate speculation about a possible romance. They “had a blast” at the event, “they came together and had a great night and clearly enjoy hanging out,” a fellow partygoer at the Beckham birthday bash told Page Six. “But I couldn’t say any more than that … I’ve no proof it’s romantic.”

The source added that Cruise was “so cool, so nice to everyone” at the high-wattage soiree, which was also attended by Guy Ritchie, Eva Longoria and Gordon Ramsay. “He’s a proper movie star,” they added.

Whatever they are or aren’t, it’s sure to be an action-packed summer for them both. Cruise stars in “Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning”— the franchise’s eighth installment, out May 23. De Armas will be at the multiplex soon after, starring as a ballerina assassin in “From the World of John Wick: Ballerina” — the fifth “John Wick” movie, out June 6.

A source who worked with De Armas on “Ballerina” told Page Six their public sightings may be more professional than personal.

“I’m sure if they’re friends he’s mentored her. I’m sure she’s called him for advice,” the source told Page Six. “I’m sure they conversed on [things like] ‘this is how the stunt guys do it.’ I’m sure he gives her a lot of tips — he’s a legend in the stunt world.”

If Ana is doing all of this with her eyes wide open, good for her. She’s showing some hustle, she’s showing that she knows how to play the game, and if Tom is really mentoring her, she’ll learn a lot from his tutelage. I wonder if they’ll both raise the stakes though – the only thing keeping this Tom & Ana story from really becoming major gossip is that no one really believes that they would seriously date each other. It’s always like “hey, that’s weird, Tom and Ana keep going out, I bet they’re just friends!” Before MI8 comes out in a few weeks, do you think they’ll up the ante? Maybe get “caught” leaving a hotel together? Maybe a paparazzo will catch them kissing in the back of a taxi?

Incidentally, Ana was asked about Tom this week, and she was basically like… we’re planning on working together. She suggested that there is some kind of professional mentorship too.

Tom Cruise & Ana de Armas were once again seen out together in London

In February, Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas were spotted out together in London. They apparently had dinner together and they even left the restaurant together (Ana had two takeout bags too). While few people paid attention to the photos and even fewer commented, the pap stroll piqued my curiosity. I thought it sounded reasonable that Tom probably wanted Ana for a future project, which would make the dinner business-related. But I also thought… huh, you never know when Tom will be in the market for a new girlfriend. Well, Tom and Ana were out and about again on Friday.

Tom Cruise and Ana de Armas have been spotted out together in London again. The actors were seen arriving at the London Heliport via helicopter the evening of Friday, March 14. Both Cruise, 62, and de Armas, 36, sported casual looks for the outing.

The Top Gun: Maverick star wore black jeans and a brown button-down shirt, while Armas wore a white tee, jeans and white sneakers under a black trench coat.

The pair seemed in good spirits, as they were seen chatting and laughing with Heliport staff.

Cruise and de Armas were also spotted together at the same heliport on Thursday night.

PEOPLE reached out to reps for both Cruise and de Armas but did not receive an immediate response.

The Mission: Impossible actor and the Blonde actress were previously photographed together in London last month during a night out on Feb. 13. In the shots, de Armas held two bags of takeout from a restaurant as the pair were seen greeting fans before hopping into a taxi.

At the time, a source told PEOPLE that the stars were at dinner with their agents “discussing potential collaborations down the line,” and noted that the pair “appeared to have no romantic connection, just friends.”

This is going to make me sound like a peasant, but joy-riding in a private helicopter would not be the height of romance for me. I’m pretty sure if a guy tried to take me on his helicopter, the date would be over. As soon as Tom tried some air maneuver, I would vomit all over his precious chopper. Obviously, Ana has a stronger stomach than me. I also think she has a very weird picker – let’s just say that I’m not surprised that the woman who dated Ben Affleck might be succumbing to Tom Cruise’s questionable charms. Also: Tom was recently seen having lunch with Austin Butler, so it’s legitimately possible that Tom is assembling a cast for his new movie.

I remember reading some internet analysis of what the Kardashian-Jenner thinnification meant culturally and economically. I forget what indicators the person used, but basically it was like, the thinner Kim Kardashian gets, the more likely America will face a recession and a return to a “heroin chic” aesthetic. I bring this up because suddenly, it looks like Kim Kardashian is no longer in her Ozempic Era. Kim wore this strapless white Balenciaga ball gown to the VF Oscar party and I know the acres of fabric are hiding her body, but I can tell from her bust and her face that she’s gained some weight back. Recession Watch over?? Nah, we’re going to need some new economic indicators.

Kendall Jenner in Mugler – this could have been interesting on someone with the pizzazz to pull it off and make it seem funny and sassy. Instead, Kendall just has a wet-blanket aesthetic.

Margaret Qualley in what I think is a custom Chanel (I could be wrong). The color is wrong? It’s too orange-red for her coloring, she needs a blue-red.

Ana de Armas’ party outfit made me laugh out loud. The bandeau top and the skirt… it’s hilarious.

Lizzo has been on a weight-loss kick for a few years and she honestly looks great. I have no idea about all of her legal issues, but she truly looks happy, healthy and glowing.

Stephanie Hsu – I hope she has a huge career, I love her so much and I’m still mad that Jamie Lee Curtis won supporting actress that year.
