So we’ve already done a ‘Tour Rider’ list of some of our favorite rockstars but Lady Gaga wasn’t included in it. Looking back, she should have been because her demands are quite amusing.
The 26-year-old singer, who is currently fighting a nasty $300,000+ lawsuit filed by her former assistant, is not only eccentric in her behavior and attire, but also in her tour demands. Thanks to CeleBuzz. we have some of those things she asks for while she travels the world.
“At all time” Gaga demands the following (Please note that the spelling mistakes are theirs, not ours):
2 Large Fluffy Lavendar Towels
2 Lavendar Hand Towels
2 Lavendar wash clothes
That’s normal enough, whatever. She must really like lavender because she also requests lavender hand soap, body wash, face soap. The popstar has other boring requirements such as she needs to have two new “seafoam luffas” (loofahs?) and a small candle in her bathroom. In her room, Mother Monster prefers white leather couches, fresh roses (yellow, lavender, or white), and a steamer.
The best part of the rider is Gaga’s “Ambiance” requests. The document states (again with the spelling errors) that the singer “liked the ambiance that was created in Chicago for Oprah filming. Glam rock, Black, Silver statins drapped over walls Old Rock Posters from her favorite artists Bowie, Queen, Elton, Billy Joel, Billy Holiday.”
“Her favorite fan art that was kept on the road with us” and here’s the real gem, “Also she wanted a manquin with puffy pink public hair. . . Please send up some samples,” the rider states.
What I would do to see some samples of mannequins with puffy pink pubic hair. That’s what I’m assuming they mean. Ha!
