Cards Against Humanity Going After Congress

The creator of the popular card game Cards Against Humanity has pledged to purchase and publish the internet browsing history of members of Congress who voted to repeal an Obama-era protection that prevented internet service providers from collecting and selling users’ personal information. Max Temkin issued the threat earlier this week after the Senate voted to roll back the privacy protections for your browsing data. “If this shit passes I will buy the browser history of every congressman and congressional aide and publish it,” Temkin wrote on Twitter. Patrick Stewart in drag looks just like Kellyanne Conway

The internet has found a new pair of celebrity doppelgängers: Kellyanne Conway and Patrick Stewart … in drag. About a year ago, Stewart dressed in drag for a screening of his Starz show “Blunt Talk” — and people are just now freaking out over the physical similarities between a dolled-up Stewart, 76, and the 50-year-old counselor to President Trump. Commenting on Stewart’s platinum-blond wig, bright-pink dress and full face of makeup, one Twitter user pointed out, “Patrick Stewart in drag is Kellyanne Conway,” while another commented, “He makes a better Kellyanne Conway than Kellyanne Conway.” Other fans quickly tweeted to “Saturday Night Live,” asking the show to bring in the actor to play Conway.  Yes please. Greta Garbos Manhattan Apt for sale

Greta Garbo’s longtime apartment is on the market for the first time since the Swedish star bought it in 1953. The notoriously reclusive actress resided in the full-floor co-op at 450 East 52nd Street from 1954 until her death in 1990. Garbo left her entire estate, including this three-bedroom, three-bathroom abode, to her niece, Gray Reisfield, according to the New York Times. Encompassing the entire fifth floor of the Campanile, a private elevator entrance opens in to the formal entry gallery, and the living room includes a working gas fireplace—apparently, Garbo displayed once displayed much of her extensive art collection on the wood-paneled walls, and some of her artwork and French antiques remain in the 2,855-square-foot apartment. March Vogue: First Trans Model to Cover the mag!

Valentina Sampaio is GORGEOUS. Much like all the other ladies who’ve landed the cover of fashions most illustrious magazine. (heh hem, that would be Vogue).  But Sampaio is more than a model.  She represents a genuine shift in how transgender men and women are viewed in the fashion industry.  No longer gimmicks for Betsy or Jean Paul, she is simply a beautiful woman fulfilling a dream. Vice Fashion did a nice little Q&A with her, so we stole some of it. Just as a tease. They’ll get over it. Can you tell us a bit about who you are and where you grew up? I’m a 20-year-old girl from Brazil. I grew up in a cosy fishing village (Prainha) close to Fortaleza in the north east of Brazil. How has your background shaped who you are today? My childhood was nice and smooth, everybody from my village was always so good with me; I never suffered bullying, so I would say it was a normal and nice childhood. Growing up who were your role models? My role models were Brooke Shields, Brigitte Bardot, Grace Jones and Angelina Jolie. They’re all pretty different to each other, but they are all strong and talented women. What did you want to be when you were a kid? I wanted to be a fashion designer or an actress. ?So proud and Super happyyy? merciiiii????????? Ameiii super felizzz??? #vsstorm ?? @joymodel @ferherbert #Repost @vogueparis with @repostapp ??? Jay Z to produce Trayvon Martin documentary series

Shawn “Jay Z” Carter and the Weinstein Company are partnering on an ambitious series of film and television projects about Trayvon Martin, Variety has learned. The indie label and the rap icon won a heated bidding war for the rights to two books — “Suspicion Nation: The Inside Story of the Trayvon Martin Injustice and Why We Continue to Repeat It” and “Rest in Power: The Enduring Life of Trayvon Martin.” The 2012 shooting of the 17-year-old Martin sparked a national debate about racial profiling and inequities of the criminal justice system that brought about the Black Lives Matter movement. The African-American high school student was killed by George Zimmerman, a 28-year-old mixed race Hispanic man, who was a member of the neighborhood watch in his Florida community. He claimed he shot Martin, who was unarmed, in self defense after the two became involved in a physical altercation. Zimmerman’s acquittal on a second-degree murder charge inspired protests around the country. “Suspicion Nation” is by Lisa Bloom and recounts her experience covering the trial for NBC. She looks at the mistakes made by prosecutors that caused them to lose what she describes as a “winnable case.” “Rest in Power” is by Martin’s parents, Sybrina Fulton and Tracy Martin. It tells a more personal story, looking at Martin’s childhood and the aftermath of his death. The plan is to make a six-part docu-series with Jay Z producing as part of a first-look deal he signed with the studio last September. The indie studio will also develop a narrative feature film. The Weinstein Company earned critical raves for “Fruitvale Station,” another true story, about the death of Oscar Grant, an unarmed black man who was killed in 2009 by a BART police officer. Ellen and Portia List Santa Barbara Estate

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia de Rossi have amassed a truly impressive collection of homes.  In many cases the wives buy a home, gut it to it’s studs, remodel it with meticulous perfection and the sell it for a handsome profit.  Ellen says it’s not really flipping as much as just being ready to move as soon as the fun of remodeling is over. This place was accumulated over several years. It’s actually three properties bought and merged into 16+ acres of property, complete with ocean view. The main house on the estate was built in the 1930s by celebrated architect Wallace Frost. After living in Italy, Frost created the two-story, 10,500-square-foot residence for himself.  Ellen and Portia turned this classic home into a work of art. Seriously. Inside and out, from architecture to art and furniture choices, it’s a masterpiece. That and it’s location give it the madening $45,000,000 price tag.
