Lyle Waggoner sells Oxnard beach house

I don’t usually include a photo of the celeb whose house we’re examining, because they’re usually need no introduction.  But I recognize that Lyle may be before your time.  Many of you.  He was a key player on the famed Carol Burnett Show from 1967-1974.   He was a star. Lyle passed away in March of this year and now the family is tying up some lose ends.  Namely the gorgeous beach front home he owned for about 5 years now. The 4,600-square-foot beach house stands three stories tall and is serviced by a private elevator. There’s certainly plenty of room for friends and family with five bedrooms, 4.5 bathrooms and a six-car garage with additional parking in the driveway. Kanye West has 2% of the voters in new poll

I was beyond annoyed that Kim Kardashian is letting her mentally ill husband venture into the presidential race knowing his lack of stability would never allow him a chance at the title and likely just cause irreparable damage to his ego.  Which seems to be the core of his being. So I guess it’s somewhat reassuring that just a handful of maniacs would entertain the notion of Kanye as POTUS. According to Redfield & Wilton Strategies, a market research firm, Kanye took 2% of the vote in a recent poll. Results (below) were based on 2,000 people polled. Heartbreaking last moments of Naya Rivera’s life

It honestly brings a lump to my throat to even repeat the terrible last moments of Naya Rivera’s life out on Lake Piru. Police surmise from everything told to them by Naya’s four-year-old son, that the two were swimming in the lake on the afternoon of July 8th. With currents in the lake known to get stronger in the afternoon, the boat began to drift.  Naya was able to swim to the boat where she used her last ounce of energy to hoist him into the pontoon. He (son Josey) said that he got on board and by the time he turned around he saw his mother disappear beneath the water. A couple boating on the lake later found Josey asleep, wrapped in a towel, aboard the vessel. Her last moments were spent saving her son’s life.  That should always be a testament to her love for him.  She has said in the past that her son is the greatest accomplishment and she spent her last moment on earth protecting him. Her body was found floating in the northeast area of the lake where the water is between 35 and 60 feet deep Monday, after a six-day search. Ayub said investigators are “confident” the body found was Rivera, but the body is still being taken to Ventura County Coroner’s Office, where it will be identified through dental records. Naya Rivera missing after son found alone on a boat

Really crazy information coming in now from the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office.  Glee star Naya Rivera is missing after her 4-year-old son Josey was found sleeping alone in a boat on Lake Piru, Southern California, on Wednesday evening, CNN reports. In a press conference, Ventura County Sheriff’s Office spokesperson Eric Buschow said there was “no evidence of foul play at this point,” as the Guardian reports, adding, “this may well be a case of drowning.” Rivera rented a boat with her son on Wednesday afternoon, according to CNN, and they went out onto the lake together. About three hours later, Josey was found asleep on the drifting boat by another boater, who alerted authorities. Rivera’s son reportedly told investigators that he and his mother went swimming together, but Rivera did not get back on the boat. Josey was wearing a life vest, while an adult life vest was found on the boat alongside Rivera’s ID. Search efforts were suspended on Wednesday night, and will be resumed “at first light” on Thursday morning, the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said. Mary Kay Letourneau dead at 58

Mary Kay Letourneau, who received national infamy after being convicted of raping her student and then later marrying him, has died at age 58, her attorney confirmed to KING 5 news. Letourneau died of stage 4 cancer, said her attorney David Gerke, who represented her on the case. In 1996, Letourneau, a sixth-grade teacher at Shorewood Elementary in Burien, was caught having sexual relations with Vili Fualaau, who was her student. Fualaau was 12-years-old at the time. The two got married in 2005 just after Letourneau was released from a seven-year prison sentence for having sex with a minor. Fualaau filed for separation in 2017, and the divorce was finalized last year. The couple had two children together, and Letourneau had children from a previous marriage. Charlamagne Tha God getting Comedy Central talk show

I am a Charlamagne Tha God worshiper, long time now.  I love the whole package, from his rollercoaster relationship with Wendy Williams to his masterful scoldings in Donkey of the Day to his long adorable lashes.   But can he handle doing this much show? Radio and TV? Comedy Central is still hammering out the details, but CTG should be hosting a weekly half-hour with a focus on current events and cultural issues. There’s no firm timetable for when it will premiere, but the goal is to get it in production by November’s election. CTG has had several shows in the passed. He was on the show Guy Code for a bit and then hosted Charlamagne and Friends and Uncommon Sense.  All for MTV. So we shall see. Ryan Seacrest will tell you, it’s hard to have it all, baby.
