Amy Locane Sentenced to Prison For DUI Death

Amy Locane Sent To Prison For DUI Accident That Killed A Woman

Actress Amy Locane-Bovenizer has been sentenced to three years in prison after killing a woman in a DUI crash during the summer of 2010.

The Cry Baby star killed Helene Seeman, 60,  of New Jersey. Seeman’s husband survived the crash.

Locane-Bovenizer, 41, is married and has two children. Apparently the judge was lenient on her because one of her children is a special needs child. However, the victim’s husband, Fred Seeman, took no sympathy on Locane. He yelled out, “What a travesty!” after her sentence was read.

Just before the tragic accident, Amy Locane rear-ended another car, stopped and exited her vehicle. But once the other driver called police Amy fled the scene. The driver followed her, and it was shortly after that she hit the car carrying Helene and her husband, who were pulling into their driveway.
