Last night was the big Broadway opening of Good Night and Good Luck, based on the film of the same name. In the George Clooney-directed film, David Strathairn memorably and brilliantly played Edward R. Murrow with all of the gravitas that the role demanded. On Broadway, Clooney has taken over the Murrow role. Clooney got the worst dye job ever to play Murrow – this is a Rudy Giuliani-level of bad dye jobs. Anyway, while Clooney has a place of honor on my permanent sh-tlist, other people feel differently and this show is getting good reviews. All of George’s BFFs came out for the opening too, although strangely, George’s wife was not there. George told People Mag that Amal was “with the kids.” Sounds like trouble in ratf–ker paradise to me.

There must have been a black-and-white dress code for the opening, because all of these celebrities did not decide to do this on their own. Jennifer Lopez had the biggest look of the night – a slinky black dress and a puffy white coat/cape by Saiid Kobeisy. Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber were there and they brought Kaia, who has known George all of her life basically. Julianna Margulies, Pierce Brosnan and Keely Shaye were also in attendance.

Here are more photos from the Vanity Fair Oscar party. A lot of the Oscar attendees, winners, nominees and presenters make a big deal about changing their clothes after the ceremony, and it’s always interesting to see the extreme difference between “classy Oscar look” versus “thirtsy party look.” Speaking of, Lily Rose Depp changed up her Chanel looks. For the parties, she wore this tragic belly-dancer-esque ensemble. Is any of it supposed to be worn this way, like a hula skirt and a Dukes of Hazzard crop top? What a f–king mess!

Jodie Turner Smith in a custom Vivienne Westwood… it’s beautiful and weird but I take issue with putting that much extra fabric around a woman’s midsection.

Miley Cyrus bleached her eyebrows and then, to top it all off, she did those itty-bitty baby bangs for the Oscar parties. What is wrong with her? I’m not saying every woman has to be “pretty” 24-7, but there’s “rejecting patriarchal beauty standards” and then there’s “bleaching your eyebrows and giving yourself baby-bangs trauma.” Plus whatever is happening with her mouth lately.

Kaia Gerber in vintage Valentino. Is she channeling her mom or does Kaia just look so much like Cindy when she does big, bouncy hair? The ‘90s Valentino adds to the Cindy Crawford vibe too, although I will always prefer the original. The look is better with the sheer cape too.

Austin Butler & Kaia Gerber broke up after three years of dating

It’s interesting when people break up around the holidays, like they want to be single for the new year. It’s a “new year, new me, new dating life” vibe. Well, that’s what Austin Butler and Kaia Gerber have done. It looks like they broke up before Christmas and Austin didn’t go on the Gerber family’s Christmas vacation. They were together for over three years?

Kaia Gerber and Austin Butler have called it quits.

More than three years after going public with their relationship in March 2022, the model, 23, and Oscar-nominated actor, 33, are going their separate ways, a source confirms to PEOPLE.

TMZ was the first to report the news, stating that the couple ended their relationship near the end of 2024. The outlet also noted that the Elvis actor was absent from the Gerber family’s recent vacation in Mexico.

Reps for Gerber and Butler have not responded to requests for comment.

The duo first sparked romance rumors in December 2021 when they attended a yoga session together in L.A. After being spotted together numerous times, they made their red carpet debut at W Magazine’s annual Best Performances party three months later in March 2022.

Honestly, I always sort of forgot that they were together. They managed to be upfront about their relationship and they walked red carpets together, and yet people (raises hand) just kind of blanked on their relationship. I don’t even remember seeing much casual gossip about them on Page Six or People. They were together when Austin’s stardom really went next-level too. Anyway, I see him dating another model. She’ll probably date another actor too.

Brie Larson in Prada at the Met Gala: was she wearing a plant cover?

The Prada people have us on our mailing list, so I am definitely biased towards them, but Brie Larson’s cool-looking Prada cage gown was one of my favorites. Their promotional email describes it as “a pencil dress in orange and copper gradient cloquet featuring embroidered degradè crystals, inspired by the Fall/Winter 2007 collection, paired with a cage dress in lilac crinoline inspired by the Fall/Winter 2024 collection. The look is finished with gold brushed leather sandals and clutch.” She looks amazing and I’m loving how much she’s been owning the red carpet lately. This look reminds me of the little tents you put on plants and flowers so that they’re protected. If that’s what they were going for it’s such a clever interpretation of the theme.

Sarah Paulson was also in Prada, in a pink and black high neck cap sleeve gown embellished with tons of ribbons. The front is “pink satin sable” with sable bows and the back is “silk with satin floral inlays.” This is super goofy to me, but she’s sort-of pulling it off.

I love seeing Amanda Seyfried on red carpets and last night was no exception. This was a “petal dress in silver antique satin with a scoop neckline and black and pink floral crystal embroidery, inspired by the Spring/Summer 2009 collection.” She told Ross Mathews that her headpiece thing was kind of like death and that her lipstick was life or something. It’s also giving goofy, but she looks like she’s having fun.

Kaia Gerber was in an unremarkable Prada column gown with white sequins “inspired by the Fall/Winter 2011 collection.” My favorite take on this look was from Christian Siriano. They need to always have him on the E! fashion panel because he does not hold back. He said “she’s giving no, nothing, just white.” The other panelists, who were fawning over some of the worst looks, were aghast and uncomfortable looking and I f’ing loved it. I’ll say something passive aggressive/superficially nice – she is a perfect blank slate for designers, if that’s what they’re looking for.

While I was actively rooting against Austin Butler at the Oscars, I have to admit, I admire the fact that he took the loss standing up. He was gracious to all of the winners, especially Brendan Fraser. He dealt with everyone on the red carpet asking him where his girlfriend was too, even though he clearly said in multiple interviews that he wasn’t bringing Kaia Gerber to the Oscars. Austin and Kaia met up after the Oscars when they attended the VF Oscar party. She wore a sparkly Celine slipdress, he wore Saint Laurent (he also wore the same label at the Oscars). His pants are too high, but I enjoy his blouse. Kaia looks great. I’m glad that he wasn’t sulking – I hope he networked his ass off during this awards szn.

Riley Keough in Celine. This sparkly, patterned slipdresses were definitely the trend for the post-Oscar parties. She looks fine – I’m glad she’s out and about too.

Michelle Yeoh in Armani. I normally would have given her a solo post but I really disliked her party dress! I’m glad she won and everything, but this is meh.

Ke Huy Quan looked like he came straight from the Oscars, didn’t even change his tux. Everyone wanted to pose with him too!

Kaia Gerber was, I believe, the only one who got to wear Alexander McQueen at this year’s Met Gala. You would have thought that the house of McQueen would want to ensure that their one big look (on one of the biggest models) was a slam-dunk, right? So why is this so… blah? It’s not bad, per se. It’s just kind of a boring dress. Kaia did the best she could with it to make it exciting, wearing some big extensions and flawless makeup.

Bradley Cooper looked… good? I want to fluff up his hair a little bit but otherwise, he looks great?

Regé-Jean Page looked great too. I enjoyed all of the men who wore velvet, honestly.

Riz Ahmed in 4SDesigns/Angela Urrutia. You might think, “what in the Timothee Chalamet?” but Riz was making a point. His outfit is an homage to the immigrant workers who toiled away during the Gilded Age.

Kaia Gerber started dating Jacob Elordi in September 2020. They had a pandemic romance… and now it’s over. It feels like something really went down behind the scenes, because Kaia wiped her Instagram of photos of Jacob. I’ll admit, I was not paying much attention to them and I had the impression that they weren’t actually all that serious about each other. He seemed like a place-holder relationship for her, just someone to hang out with and be her date at some of the bigger events. The idea that they may have had a dramatic breakup seems weird!

Kaia Gerber and Jacob Elordi have broken up, Page Six can exclusively confirm. A source told us on Thursday that the pair are over, but the split was “amicable.”

Fans began speculating that the attractive duo had called it quits after Gerber, 20, took down photos of Elordi, 24, from her Instagram. The last photo of the pair still featured on the model’s profile was posted on Sept. 16 in a slideshow from her 20th birthday party. A few days after the birthday fête, the couple made their red carpet debut at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures Opening Gala in Los Angeles on Sept. 25.

It is unclear how soon after that formal event their romance soured.

Despite the split, Gerber and Elordi still follow each other on social media. They dated each other for just over a year. The “American Horror Story” actress and the “Euphoria” actor first sparked dating rumors in September 2020 when they were spotted packing on the PDA while walking around New York City. That same month, their relationship appeared to take a more serious turn as Elordi vacationed with Gerber’s parents, Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber, in Mexico.

Cindy Crawford was quite a catch back in the day, and Cindy’s profile as a model was definitely enhanced by dating famous men. I wonder if Cindy gives Kaia dating advice? Like, “go and have fun, be a single girl, don’t settle down yet.” I feel like Kaia’s next guy will probably be pretty interesting. We’ll see.
