Bill Cosby’s Pennsylvania home is about a mile from my home, so the town was abuzz with opinions yesterday.  His home is set back far on a large tree fill property that is surrounded by fencing, but that didn’t stop a small group of people from gathering outside the gates and help signs protesting his release.

But the swift and harsh reactions weren’t limited to Cosby’s neighborhood.  A number of celebrities took to IG, Twitter and FB to air their frustration over the release of the alleged rapist.  Lets check in:

I am furious to hear this news. I personally know women who this man drugged and raped while unconscious. Shame on the court and this decision. #TimesUp #MeToo

WHEN will things get better for women and girls regarding sexual assault, sexism, misogyny and ageism?

What will it take?

So discouraged.

When people commit horrific crimes especially Rape ,eventually terrible things happen to them be it health problems or a horrible loss ,Karma will always be waiting for the perpetrators of evil. it is the one law that can’t be broken.

As a reminder, AT LEAST FIFTY-EIGHT WOMEN accused Bill Cosby of sexual assault. 58!

Thank you to all those who had the courage to speak up and seek justice. It was not in vain. He served two years. We all know what he did. Ant they made it easier for other women to come forward. pic.twitter.com/XwlG8XFHJ5
