These are photos of Paula Patton attending a post-Emmys gathering on Monday night. These photos are noteworthy because this is the first time our agencies have papped Paula since Oscar weekend in late February. So it’s been six months. Six months since Paula finally had enough of Robin embarrassing her by groping random blondes. In February, Paula formally separated from her douchey husband after nine years of marriage.
Nine years is a long time. Even longer? Paula and Robin dated for twelve years before tying the knot. That’s two full decades of douche. No wonder it took Paula so long to walk away from her womanizing ex. She was strong though. Paula went into hiding and let Robin make a total fool out of himself. I didn’t realize Paula had such restraint. After all, she faked those happy red-carpet smiles for several months after Robin’s alleged infidelities surfaced.
Paula is smiling in these photos. I hope she’s genuinely happy and not simply faking it for the paps. Robin finally gave up on stalking her a month ago. What I’d really like to talk about is this dress. This dress looks like errant venetian blinds. It barely covers Paula’s bits and pieces. I can’t tell if this is the dress of a newly single, victorious woman. It can’t be a “Look at what you’re missing, douchebag” dress. Right?
