Kate Upton was one of the victims in the JLaw nudies scandal that kicked off over the weekend, and while people weren’t all that bothered by/interested in seeing Kate’s boobs since we kinda do all the time in every single ad she does, she’s flaming mad and wants to sic a lawyer on anyone who dares to post the illegally obtained images. From US Weekly: Kate Upton found fame from posing in sexy photos — but after being involved in a celebrity phone hack, there are new nude images the model does not want shared out there. Like Jennifer Lawrence, Upton’s phone was hacked and nude images have leaked, her attorney confirms to Us Weekly. “This is obviously an outrageous violation of our client Kate Upton’s privacy,” attorney Lawrence Shire tells Us in a statement. “We intend to pursue anyone disseminating or duplicating these illegally obtained images to the fullest extent possible.” Oh, dear. I don’t know, I feel like it’s obviously a violation of all of the victims’ privacy, 100%. But the more I think about it, the more I think it’s a really dumb decision to have your phone sync to iCloud when you know you have nudes on your phone. Obviously when you’re getting your bits out to try and turn on a partner, you’re probably not thinking about setting your phone to manually sync selected images or whatever, but this happens far too often for people to keep making the same mistake. Dudes do it with dick pics, too – it’s just that society seems to care a little less about those. But seriously, not being funny, but click behind the cut for a NSFW, totally legally and willingly taken photo from one of Kate’s shoots. Why would anyone care about her private naked selfies? Kate Upton is generally seen as pretty sexy to most of the population, and she’s made an absolute fortune on being one of our first “curvy” supermodels. She’s doing pretty well for herself, but apparently that wasn’t always the case, and before she grew tits and an ass – and that hourglass figure – she was praying to a higher power for it to be so. From Elle UK: ‘When I first started modelling, I was a normal catalogue model,’ Kate explains in the accompanying interview, speaking about her stratospheric rise to fame – with that body. ‘Then, I became a woman, and I was really excited about becoming a woman. Because I’m from Florida, it’s all about being in bathing suits. It’s a different view of beauty there. You are ugly if you don’t have a curvy body. And I didn’t have one, and then I got one, and thought, “Yessss!” ‘And then people say: “Oh, wow, you’re healthy.” ‘And you’re like, “Wait – what? I’ve been begging for this body my whole life!”’ Well, good for her. I mean, let’s be honest: any of the criticism about Kate Upton being “fat” are absolute bullshit. The girl is in no way overweight, so when I say it’s great that she’s got self-confidence, I feel sorta dumb because why should she feel otherwise? She’s gorgeous. Get yours, girl. Then again, I don’t like that she equates curves with “becoming a woman” – there are lots of ways to be a woman, so I think that’s a bit wrong, but I don’t think she meant anything by it, so good for her, I guess.
