Keira Knightley is like store-brand macaroni and cheese (instead of, say, Velveeta) – you’ll eat it if it’s there, but you won’t be very happy about it. It’s pretty flavourless and doesn’t leave you satisfied but sometimes, you gotta do what you gotta do. She’s okay, really, but I could never quite warm to her, and that seems to be the general consensus. But what she’s done this month to protest Photoshopping. According to Keira, people are always Photoshopping her, particularly because she’s really slim and doesn’t have a huge chest. When promotion for King Arthur, for instance, they made her boobs SO MUCH BIGGER in the promo posters. That’s a regular occurrence in her life, so she showed her REAL chest for Interview magazine (photo under the cut since it’s NSFW), and she had the following to say about it (via The Times): I’ve had my body manipulated so many different times for so many different reasons, whether it’s paparazzi photographers or for film posters. That [shoot] was one of the ones where I said: ‘OK, I’m fine doing the topless shot so long as you don’t make them any bigger or retouch.’ Because it does feel important to say it really doesn’t matter what shape you are.
