Liam Hemsworth sent Jennifer Lawrence a “love koala”
Jennifer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth are two young, attractive people at the height of their careers. They’re also co-stars in The Hunger Games franchise and happen to be pretty much BFFs off camera, as well. However, there may be a new development to report in their relationship, since apparently Liam sent Jen a “love koala”, whatever the hell that is. Via The Independent (which pulled this from Heat, so grain of salt and all): “They’ve always had insane chemistry, but they’ve never been single at the same time before. In fact, when they first met on the set of The Hunger Games, Liam’s then-fiancé Miley Cyrus flew out, possibly to keep an eye on them, I think, because she was jealous,” the insider said. “Jen and Liam have been friends for years and she’s always confided in him about the drama in her love life. She’s really leaned on him during all the drama with Chris. ” Even before promotional duties the pair have apparently been spending time together. Jennifer reportedly invited Liam to see her in Los Angeles so they could go over strategy for their media tour, but it led to a more personal conversation. “Jen started pouring her heart out about Chris and things got personal. Liam knows Jen loves koala bears so, the next day, he had an enormous stuffed toy koala sent to Jen with a note saying, ‘Hold out for the perfect man,’” the source explained. I’m going to go ahead and call complete and utter bullshit on this one, but whatever. Maybe it’s true. Maybe they’re the next “it” couple. Jennifer Lawrence has become a national treasure over the past several years. She’s a great actress, but she’s also not part of the snooty Hollywood crowd – not really. She’s one of us. She loves eating real food and sometimes she shits herself. Don’t we all? I mean… or something. Speaking of eating, her Hunger Games co-star Liam Hemsworth revealed something rather unpleasant about JLaw’s habits during an interview on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon on Friday night. You know how Jennifer and Liam had to share some passionate moments as Katniss and Gale in The Hunger Games? Well, before they’d get started, Jennifer would make sure to eat something disgusting to have AWFUL breath for their special moment. “Anytime I had to kiss Jennifer was pretty uncomfortable.” “When you look at it on the outside, it looks like a great picture. She’s one of my best friends, I love her, but if we had a kissing scene, she would make a point of eating garlic or tuna fish or something that was disgusting. Right before the scene she’d be like, ‘Yeah, I ate tuna’ or ‘I had garlic, and I didn’t brush my teeth.’ And I’d be like, ‘Fantastic, I can’t wait to get in there and taste it!’” Sounds charming!
