Well, well. It looks like all of those “sources” were right! Miranda Kerr is officially engaged to billionaire Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel. Miranda is 33, Evan is 26. The age difference is no big deal – we wouldn’t blink if the ages were reversed – except that Evan seems a lot younger. He seems like he’s still a frat bro in college. I’ve long suspected that Miranda is useful to Evan for that reason: she legitimizes him (somewhat) as an “adult,” as a player, as someone who should be taken seriously. As for what he brings to the table for Miranda… well…I mean, I can only guess.
Snapchat founder Evan Spiegel is celebrating his engagement to Miranda Kerr, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal. The supermodel accepted the proposal from the 26-year-old tech superstar, who she has been dating for two years.
‘They are extremely happy,’ a spokesperson for the Snapchat CEO told DailyMail.com exclusively. Miranda started dating Stanford University graduate Evan in June 2015 after meeting at a fashion industry dinner.
We haven’t covered Lindsay Lohan in a few months, and she’s been desperate for attention this week, so let’s give it to her. Lindsay spent much of the week in London, partying and pap-strolling and leaking stories about herself. She even spent time with Kourtney Kardashian (that must have been a meeting of the minds). But yesterday Lindsay was in Spain. Someone (an idiot) hired Lindsay to be the (crack)face of the Uno de 50 jewelry line. So Lindsay got a flight to Madrid and she got to do a photocall, posing in some of the jewelry. And hey, it worked! I’m covering these photos, so it worked. Just like I assume I’ll re-use these photos when the jeweler claims that some of his pieces were crack-heisted.
I mostly wanted to talk about these photos because I’m interested in seeing your reaction to how Lohan looks these days. In some shots, I think she looks okay, almost presentable and somewhat sober. In other photos, I think she looks glassy-eyed and terrible. Also: is this dress incredibly unflattering or did she get another boob job?
Meanwhile, did you know that Lindsay is still engaged? It’s true. She’s engaged to a 22-year-old Russian “businessman” who seems just as shady as Lindsay. But they’re enjoying themselves and he’s even going to throw a big party for Lindsay’s 30th birthday this summer.
Lindsay Lohan’s fiancé, Egor Tarabasov, is throwing her a 30th birthday party in Greece. The 22-year-old Russian trust-fund kid and real estate agent told Lohan’s pals to save the date for a giant July 2 bash in Mykonos.
The exact location hasn’t been revealed as yet, but the party’s planners might want to steer clear of the restaurant Sea Satin Market — where Lohan reportedly racked up a $1,300 bill in 2015 before leaving without paying. Staff spent three days searching for her before a pal paid up.
Sure. I keep waiting for Egor’s family to shut this down, but maybe they figure that Egor will eventually tire of Lindsay’s drama and antics. But what worries me is that Lindsay has “caught” someone wealthy and she’ll get pregnant soon.
Also: everything is coming up crackie today, because a judge is allowing Lindsay to sue the makers of Grand Theft Auto. It’s a crackholiday!

File this under “Elizabeth Olsen is Ice Cold.” Last year, Elizabeth Olsen and Boyd Holbrook were happily engaged. They were both up-and-coming actors with successful careers. Then, out of nowhere, their engagement was off. A few months later, the rumors about Olsen and Tom Hiddleston started heating up, and some of us believe that Tom and Elizabeth started seeing each other while they were filming I Saw the Light. Well, I’m not sure about the timeline a year ago, but Boyd covers the new issue of Man of the World and he says flat-out that Olsen dumped him “on the same day my best friend died.”
During the Cambridges’ day-trip to Wales on Friday, they ended up doing something “fun,” because of course they did. They went to the Towers Residential Outdoor Education Centre in Capel Curig and they did the climbing wall together. Kate got to show off her sporty side and she seemed happier and more relaxed than she has in months. When they reached the summit of the climbing wall, Kate got to hold William’s rope as he attempted to rappel back down. So Kate naturally asked him, “William, how much do you love me?” She said it in a joking, teasing manner, of course. But there was no reply recorded by any outlet.
Duchess Kate repels
Well, well. The Duchess of Cambridge made a “secret visit” to a women’s prison in Surrey today. Surprising, isn’t it? This was not on Kate’s public schedule at all, and while the trip was announced to some journalists in advance, the journalists were blocked from revealing details about the trip “because of security concerns.” Plus, phones and laptops were banned (but not cameras, apparently!). Kate went to prison as part of her work with Action on Addiction, and this trip was to see the work of Rehabilitation of Addicted Prisoners Trust (RAPt). You can read more about the trip here.

So, good on Kate. I’m surprised that she actually A) did something and B) did something substantive, on a tricky, less touchy-feely subject like drug and alcoholic addictions in the prison system. Why is she suddenly so engaged? I’m not sure. Incidentally, did you see The Daily Mail’s Ephraim Hardcastle’s little gossip item about Kate? It was called “The Duchess of Cambridge’s much-appreciated return to work.” I think this could be one of the explanations for why Kate is suddenly so “engaged.”
The Duchess of Cambridge’s much-appreciated return to work – visiting a mental health charity in London and Twickenham for the rugby – cheers her fans. She’ll also attend the premiere next month of the new James Bond movie, Spectre. Other plans are hazy. Flunkeys are reluctant to announce too many in advance. The ‘prickly princess’ is unpredictable. A much-hyped overseas visit next spring currently awaits her nod. Come on, Kate!

So much shade in one little gossip piece. They got everything though – “prickly princess” and “hazy” plans. Fascinating.
Fashion notes for this visit: Kate wore a “£365 winter white tweed dress called Eaton by London-based label The Fold.” I like it. I would call it more of a pale ash grey, and what I especially love is that she wore the matching shoes, rather than nude or black LK Bennetts. The bangs though!! Ugh.

This is a clip from Chrissy Teigen and Tyra Banks’ new show, The #FABLife, which premieres September 21. This show is geared towards women and, and it looks like the show is starting out on a heavy topic. Chrissy reveals that she and John Legend have been trying to have kids for many years. Probably five years, and they’ve been together for nearly a decade. Chrissy and John married two years ago in Lake Como. She says the “when are you going to have kids?” questions started almost immediately after they tied the knot. Chrissy advises everyone to never ask these questions (although that won’t stop your mother-in-law from pestering you at Thanksgiving). She and John have even visited fertility doctors to no avail:
“John and I have been together for so long now. I met him when I was 20, and I’m almost 30 now. Our relationship, before we even got engaged, was pretty significant too. But I will say that, just two years into being married, the questions come from all over. It’s kind of crazy. I can’t imagine being that nosy, like, ‘When are the kids coming?’ because who knows what somebody’s going through, who knows if somebody’s struggling? I would say, honestly, [that] John and I were having trouble. We would have had kids five, six years ago if it had happened, but my gosh, it’s been a process.”
Chrissy has a reputation for oversharing on social media, but this is the first time she’s ever mentioned fertility problems. This seems like a sincere effort at revealing information for the sake of this show’s discussion. Perhaps it might even soften Chrissy in the eyes of her critics. Things grew even more dramatic when Tyra returns from commercial break with her own fertility saga:
“When I was 23 years old, I used to tell myself, in three years, you’re going to have kids. Then I turned 24. And then just every single year I kept saying that. And after a while, it’s like, ‘Okay, I want to, but it’s not so easy.’ Once you open up about those things with other people, you start learning that a lot of people are seeing these people [fertility doctors], and they have this shame about it. So anytime anybody asks me if I’m going to have kids, I’m just like, ‘One day, you’re going to ask that to the wrong girl who is really struggling and it’s going to be really hurtful to them, and I hate that. Stop asking me!’”
Man, this is some really intense stuff. Tyra openly cried on television, and I don’t think she meant to one-up Chrissy on her personal revelation. That’s kind of what happened though. Both ladies do make a solid point. People need to stop pestering couples to have children. Why on earth do people do this? Such questions feel passive aggressive, and they usually only result in resentment. It’s just unnecessary, and whether or not someone is going to have kids is such a nosy thing to ask about.
