Charlize Theron is no stranger when it comes to fully omitting to a role, even if said role involves a 30 pounds weight gain. More details From E! News: Charlize Theron wasn’t wearing one of her usual body hugging dresses at last night’s amfAR Inspiration Gala in Los Angeles. Instead, the Oscar-winner opted for a loose fitting lacey gown with a black jacket. “Yes, I am very fat right now,” Theron said after Chelsea Handler cracked a joke about her weight gain. Theron actually packed on about 30 pounds for her role in the upcoming comedy Tully as a mom whose brother hires her a nanny just after she gives birth to her third child. Do people genuinely care about Derek Jeter? Let me ask that another way: besides Yankees fans, do people care about Jeter? Well, in case you care, Jeter is married! The 42-year-old retired Yankee married 26-year-old swimsuit model Hannah Davis this weekend. Yes, I’m still rolling my eyes at the age difference too. Jeter was actually one of New York’s most famous bachelors, and over the years, he romanced everyone from Mariah Carey to Jessica Biel (remember that?) to Minka Kelly. Hannah and Derek had gotten engaged last fall after dating for a few years. Surprisingly, the wedding didn’t take place in New York. Or the Hamptons. It took place in St. Helena, California, at a Napa Valley resort. Hannah wore a custom-made Vera Wang gown and from what I’ve seen, the Daily Mail has the best pics – you can see them here. The gown is sleeveless, with a high lace neck. Not my style, but she looked lovely. Wedding guests included Yankees Jorge Posada, Andruw Jones and Tino Martinez, as well as Jeter’s family and some of Hannah’s modeling buddies. There were less than 100 guests and Hannah had said in past interviews that she was trying to keep the wedding pretty simple. What else? In all of the media coverage of the wedding, people are noting that Hannah bought an Italian Mastiff puppy for Jeter for Christmas. The puppy’s name is Kane. Oh, and all of this time I thought Hannah was from somewhere like Pennsylvania, but she was born and raised in the US Virgin Islands. Sources also tell Page Six that Jeter is “definitely ready to be a dad” and that he and Hannah plan on starting their family quickly. Honeymoon baby? Why didn’t Andy Murray & Serena Williams dance together at the Wimbledon dinner?

Here are some photos from last night’s Wimbledon Champions Dinner in London. Serena Williams was there, as she picked up her 22nd Grand Slam at Wimbledon, plus Serena and Venus won the doubles tournament too. I can’t find the ID on Serena’s dress, but it doesn’t really look like a major designer piece. My guess is that she either designed it herself or she just picked up something in London. I’m also including photos of Andy Murray with his wife Kim Sears/Murray at the event. Kim wore Jenny Packham, the same designer who did Kim’s gold dress at the final. While I’m incredibly pleased for both Murray and Serena Williams on their Grand Slam wins, something about this event bothered me. It’s become a tradition for the Wimbledon singles winners to dance together on stage at the Champions Dinner. Last year, that meant Serena danced with Novak Djokovic in what was one of the funniest moments to ever come out of the Champions Dinner. It’s sort of charming that even though Novak is brilliant on the court, he can’t dance AT ALL. But since it’s tradition, Novak went up there and made the most of it and had fun and it was sweet and cute. But this year, Andy Murray refused. When asked about the dance ahead of the Champions Dinner, Andy said: “No, no, it can go into retirement again. The next winners can try it again but no dance for me tonight unless I’ve had a few glasses of champagne. And then it’s possible.” I haven’t seen any videos of the dance and I really don’t think it happened.
