Matt Baier: I’m Not Evil! My Son is a Liar!

It’s been a particularly bad week for Matt Baier’s public image, which is surprising, as his reputation has been about on par with that of Chris Brown mixed with a leaking bag of garbage for as long as he’s been in the spotlight.

Still, Amber Portwood’s fiance found a way to sink lower this week.

You almost have to admire him, but then you remember that no one should ever admire him for any reason.

It all started when Baier’s estranged son called him “the ultimate con artist” in a scathing interview with Radar Online.

Chris Baier, 26, says that Amber and the average Teen Mom viewer are clueless as to the depths of his father’s shadiness, and to prove it, he offered up a seriously disturbing example.

Chris says that he’s struggled with drug addiction throughout his adult life, and that his father co-opted his story in order to help him win over Amber Portwood (a recovering addict herself) and appear more sympathetic to MTV audiences:

“He asked me to tell him all about my problems with drugs. When I saw him on MTV, he was talking about all of my drug problems that I told him about, and made believe they were his problems,”

“The truth of the matter is, he’s an evil, evil man, and when he did evil things, he was stone cold sober.” Chris says.

“All he does is use people and hurt them. He’s a horrible, nasty person, the ultimate con artist.”

Harsh words to say the least.

Not surprisingly, Matt says his son’s story is utter nonsense.

“What actually happened is he was contacted by the press numerous times in the last six moths or so and offered money to say bad things about me,” Matt says.

“It’s important to note my son has a bad drug addiction, and he was completely strung out when he started talking about six months ago.

“He was in trouble with the law and in between places to live. When you’re offered an amount of money by anybody when you’re in that situation it’s really tough to turn down.”

But as the saying goes, there are three sides to every story: Matt Baier’s version, and the versions of the two people who say he’s lying.

The Ashley’s Reality Roundup spoke with the journalist who interviewed Chris Baier, and she claims that Matt’s explanation for his son’s comments makes zero sense:

“Chris hasn’t used in years!” Radar Online’s Donna Thomas says of Matt’s allegations.

“He wasn’t paid a dime, and wasn’t looking for money, he’s a really nice kid…He’s had some issues with drugs, but it’s the past, he has a good job, and a girlfriend and he’s on the right track, he doesn’t want Matt to destroy anyone else, that’s all!”

So yes, yet again Matt comes off looking incredibly shady.

The situation has left many wondering if Amber and Matt will still get married, and the answer is yes.

Yes they will, because Amber has learned to turn a blind eye to her fiance’s true nature.

Lindsay Lohan got a job wearing jewelry, jewelry she might crack-heist later

We haven’t covered Lindsay Lohan in a few months, and she’s been desperate for attention this week, so let’s give it to her. Lindsay spent much of the week in London, partying and pap-strolling and leaking stories about herself. She even spent time with Kourtney Kardashian (that must have been a meeting of the minds). But yesterday Lindsay was in Spain. Someone (an idiot) hired Lindsay to be the (crack)face of the Uno de 50 jewelry line. So Lindsay got a flight to Madrid and she got to do a photocall, posing in some of the jewelry. And hey, it worked! I’m covering these photos, so it worked. Just like I assume I’ll re-use these photos when the jeweler claims that some of his pieces were crack-heisted.

I mostly wanted to talk about these photos because I’m interested in seeing your reaction to how Lohan looks these days. In some shots, I think she looks okay, almost presentable and somewhat sober. In other photos, I think she looks glassy-eyed and terrible. Also: is this dress incredibly unflattering or did she get another boob job?

Meanwhile, did you know that Lindsay is still engaged? It’s true. She’s engaged to a 22-year-old Russian “businessman” who seems just as shady as Lindsay. But they’re enjoying themselves and he’s even going to throw a big party for Lindsay’s 30th birthday this summer.

Lindsay Lohan’s fiancé, Egor Tarabasov, is throwing her a 30th birthday party in Greece. The 22-year-old Russian trust-fund kid and real estate agent told Lohan’s pals to save the date for a giant July 2 bash in Mykonos.

The exact location hasn’t been revealed as yet, but the party’s planners might want to steer clear of the restaurant Sea Satin Market — where Lohan reportedly racked up a $1,300 bill in 2015 before leaving without paying. Staff spent three days searching for her before a pal paid up.

Sure. I keep waiting for Egor’s family to shut this down, but maybe they figure that Egor will eventually tire of Lindsay’s drama and antics. But what worries me is that Lindsay has “caught” someone wealthy and she’ll get pregnant soon.

Also: everything is coming up crackie today, because a judge is allowing Lindsay to sue the makers of Grand Theft Auto. It’s a crackholiday!

Johnny Depp: Drunken Assault on Amber Heard Revealed?

On Friday, Amber Heard requested a restraining order against Johnny Depp, claiming that her estranged husband had violently assaulted her and left her with facial bruising and other injuries.

Several of Depp’s high profile friends and exes expressed their skepticism about Heard’s version of events, with some even going so far as to accuse the actress of blackmailing Depp.

Heard’s attorneys responded by issuing a statement indicating that Heard plans to file assault charges against Depp.

Her legal team now claims that she had only declined to do so on the night of the alleged attack in hopes of protecting “her privacy and Johnny’s career.”

Now that Depp’s team has publicly accused her of lying, however, it seems that all bets are off.

Not only will Heard be filing a police report that could result in serious criminal charges for the 52-year-old actor, her lawyers have claimed that the attack that took place last week (during which Depp allegedly struck Heard in the face with an iPhone) was not an isolated incident.

So perhaps it’s no coincidence that sources supporting Heard have started coming forward with shocking allegations about Depp’s brutish behavior throughout the 15-month marriage:

“Johnny has been drunk for most of their relationship. He often wakes up drinking and he does not stop until he blacks out,” an insider close to the couple tells Radar Online.

Just two months after Depp married Heard, he was photographed with a cast on his hand that was reportedly the result of an accident on set.

The source claims that was merely a story cooked up by Depp’s agency, and the reality of the situation was much darker:

“The real reason Johnny broke his hand is because he tried to hit Amber and he hit a wall instead!” the insider says.

“Johnny can be dangerous and unpredictable when he is drinking, and he was often drinking when they were together.”

In court documents, Heard claimed that Depp was “barely ever sober” over the course of their marriage, and she filed a restraining due to her fear of what he may be capable of while intoxicated:

“Amber was legitimately afraid for her life,” says the source.

“The only reason that she is even taking legal action now is because she really believes that she was in danger.”

Kyle Richards on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills: It’s Either Kim or Me!

Kim Richards made a return to The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills on Tuesday night.

In a surprise move that should not have come as a surprise to anyone, the troubled reality star stopped by the show’s reunion in order to … well… ramble incoherently for the most part.

She acted in denial of any kind of drinking problem and didn’t address her recent arrest or litany of personal/legal issues.

So she basically acted like Kim Richards.

But while Kim made a few appearances on the series that made her famous this season, she is still not a full-time cast member.

Might this change in the future?

It’s very possible, seeing as people watch The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills online or on television just to see the drama that Kim brings along with her.

However, if Kim Richards does return to full-time cast member status in 2017, her sister will not be joining her. Allegedly.

According to a Life & Style insider, “Kyle put her foot down” when it comes to Kim getting rehired.

She has supposedly threatened to quit the reality program is Kim is brought back.

“She’s concerned the fame and publicity will derail Kim all over again,” the tabloid writes.

That certainly does seem plausible.

Kim, who has been in and out of rehab and was arrested for shoplifting in 2015, “has finally managed to get sober and take control of her life, but she’s still very vulnerable,” the source adds.

Why would she therefore expose herself to the tension-filled universe of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills? Do you really need us to spell this out for you?

Bravo, meanwhile, officially renewed The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills this week.

We’ll never rid ourselves of these women. Not ever.

Kourtney Kardashian: Fighting With Scott Disick More Fun Than Fighting Boredom

If you’ve been living under a rock for the past three months, then welcome back! Also, you missed some pretty important things, though none more important than Scott Disick’s re-entry into the Keeping Up With The Kardashians fold!

“Scott has been filming for several weeks now,” a source close to the Kardashians told Radar Online.

“He is being paid on a per-show basis under the assumption that he is sober. Scott goes through phases where he is a mess and burns it all down, followed by months of playing the role of responsible father. This is just how it is,” the source added.

“Kris does not care about what is best for Scott anymore. She is using him for show ratings!”

“She knows that people want to watch Scott especially now that he is unstable,” the source went on.

“Also Kourtney gets bored when she’s not fighting with Scott and all of their drama did really well for the show last season.”

A few months ago, GQ did a feature on celebrity club appearances, and accompanied Scott Disick to 1OAK in Las Vegas.

One club goer was celebrating her 21st birthday at the club, and when asked why she wanted to spend it with Disick, she explained that he “is a dick, but he’s funny.”

John Goodman’s Kristen Wiig story: was she rude to him or was he rude to her?

John Goodman sat down with Howard Stern this week to promote his new movie, 10 Cloverfield Lane. We rarely talk about Goodman, not because we dislike him or anything, but because he usually isn’t much of a newsmaker. He works all the time, people love him, he seems like a really normal person. There’s no real scandal, you know? Even Rosanne Barr loves him, and she hates almost everyone. While chatting with Stern, Goodman talked about New Orleans, drinking, SNL, weight loss (he’s lost a lot of weight in the past year, after he gained weight back from his 2010 weight loss) and more. The biggest headline is probably the Kristen Wiig story though, and I still don’t know how to feel. Some highlights:

He was so excited to meet Kristen Wiig, he interrupted her conversation: “She was talking to somebody else, and I was just – I think she’s so great, and the social barriers broke down and I interrupted the conversation. And I would just hate for somebody to do that to me. And she goes, ‘yeah, I’ll talk to you in a minute.’ [makes sound of bomb dropping] It was like the Atom. I shrunk down to Atom size. …I really like her, and it was embarrassing, so I’ll never speak to her again.”

He’s sober now, but he used to drink at work: “I was drunk a couple of times during ‘[The Big] Lebowski,’ but that was way too many for me. That was something I swore to myself I would never do – drink at work. And then that – on Roseanne I started doing that.”

Whether he avoided the Vietnam draft: “I got a lottery number of 30,” Goodman revealed, but said they didn’t ask him to serve because when he went into for his physical they marked him down as being too heavy for his height after recording his height incorrectly. “I would have been the big baby of the Army,” he admitted though.

He loves Brie Larson, his ‘Kong: Skull Island’ costar: “She was so charismatic. She was like the only girl on set and every weekend she would organize stuff to do. We would look at kangaroos. She would organize a trip to an amusement park after it closed … Just stuff for people to do, because she’s nervous about people getting angry or getting on each other’s nerves.”

On politics: “I keep it to myself and it will, you know, give me the cancer… I hate political ads. I hate seeing people … getting swept up into a mob mentality.”

On Obama: “I just feel bad for Obama. As soon as he got into office they started kicking the s–t out of him. For no reason. … He could have a cancer cure and it’s like, ‘No, it’s not good enough.’”

an, I get it, she was in the middle of a conversation and God knows I hate it when people interrupt me or talk over me or anything like that. But still… it was John Goodman! The man is a national treasure! When John Goodman comes over and wants to fan-boy all over you, you hit pause on your conversation and talk to him, you know? It’s like… being interrupted by Tom Hanks or Jeff Bridges. You just let it happen because they’re awesome people.
