During the Cambridges’ day-trip to Wales on Friday, they ended up doing something “fun,” because of course they did. They went to the Towers Residential Outdoor Education Centre in Capel Curig and they did the climbing wall together. Kate got to show off her sporty side and she seemed happier and more relaxed than she has in months. When they reached the summit of the climbing wall, Kate got to hold William’s rope as he attempted to rappel back down. So Kate naturally asked him, “William, how much do you love me?” She said it in a joking, teasing manner, of course. But there was no reply recorded by any outlet.

Tom Hiddleston was nominated for a WhatsOnStage Award for Best Actor

I wonder how Tom Hiddleston feels now that Benedict Cumberbatch is invading his Marvel territory? I bet Tom is happy. Benedict is like a big brother to him after all. But maybe there’s a little something, deep down, where Tom is like, “Damn, bro. Marvel was MY thing.” But I’m sure it will be fine. Tom’s actually set to have a pretty good 2015 – he should be in the (gossip) news more, and on more red carpets. High Rise, Age of Ultron, Crimson Peak and I Saw the Light will all be released in 2015, so maybe at this time next year, we’ll be talking about Tommy for a potential Golden Globes nomination.

Meanwhile, Tommy is still getting nominations and awards for his work on the stage earlier this year in Coriolanus. Last week, Hiddleston won Best Actor at the London Evening Standard Theatre Awards, and then on Friday, he was nominated for a WhatsOnStage Award for Best Actor in a Play. It’s basically like the People’s Choice of London theatre. Tommy is up against David Tennant, Tom Bateman, Richard Armitage and Mark Strong. If this is truly the People’s Choice of London theatre, I would think that Hiddles would win hands-down (and pants-down). The winners won’t be announced until February 15th. Smack in the middle of the awards season in Hollywood. You can read more about the nominations here.

Oh, and there’s a new documentary which involves actors talking about Shakespeare, so of course Tommy was included. This clip was making the rounds all last week, but I’m pretty sure this is from an older interview.

Courtney Stodden got falling down drunk, posed for paps in London

Do you know what these photos remind me of? They remind me of Brandi Glanville getting so wasted in London that she had to be held up to walk. Brandi was wearing a similar skimpy outfit too. Here’s Courtney Stodden, 19, so blitzed last night that she can barely function. Maybe she’s playing it up for the cameras, I wouldn’t be surprised, but she probably is pretty drunk regardless.

Courtney cannot legally drink in her native US, where the drinking age is 21. In England the drinking age is technically 18 (teens can drink beer or wine with a meal from the age of 16) so she’s free to get falling down drunk and pose for the paparazzi.

Courtney is in London following her stint on Celebrity Big Brother UK. She was voted off the show over a week ago, and the finale also aired last week. Maybe she’s contracted to stay in London, but it looks suspicious to me that she’s still there. Courtney is being assisted by a “mystery man” and she also partied that night with Lauren Harris, a Big Brother housemate and transsexual who finished third on the show.

The Daily Mail reports that Courtney’s 53 year-old husband and the reason she’s famous, Doug Hutchinson, has been seen in London with her. So it’s not like he’s still in California waiting for her to come home. Still, I would be surprised if these two stay together much longer.

You may notice in these photos that Courtney has large bruises on her upper thighs and that her boobs are purple. I don’t want to think too much about her bruises, but there’s an explanation for why her circus boobs are discolored. Her double D implants are too big for her frame and may be straining her skin so much that the blood vessels in her breasts are “unable to empty due to pressure exerted on them by the implants.” That’s so gross. I haven’t even seen a Real Housewife with that problem.

Why Julie Chen Felt Forced To Get Plastic Surgery To Change Her Asian Eyes

Julie Chen got plastic surgery when she was around 25. But it wasn’t your typical plastic surgery (read: not boobs). It was to “fix” her “Asian eyes.” And she felt like she had no choice but to undergo the procedure. Here’s what she had to say about it, on The Talk (via Daily News):

[My boss at the time] said, ‘Let’s face it Julie, how relatable are you to our community? How big of an Asian community do we have in Dayton? On top of that, because of your Asian eyes, I’ve noticed that when you’re on camera, you look disinterested and bored.’ [And my agent] said, ‘I cannot represent you unless you get plastic surgery to make your eyes look bigger.’

Good lord. Wow. This is stuff I’ve never had to think about. That’s terrible. And racism against Asian-americans is still alive and well, as Chen got to see firsthand while hosting the deplorable Big Brother. That Aaryn had simply delightful things to say about Asians.

Chen got the surgery (as shown in the above before/after photo she brought to the show). She mused,

After I had it done, the ball did roll for me. And I wondered, ‘Did I give in to the man?

She goes on to say that she has no regrets.

One question Julie: what’s the reason for the obvious nose job you’re not talking about? Just wondering.

Big Brother 15 After Dark Leaves Showtime, Heads to TVGN

BB15 After Dark moves to TVGN

After seven years of being on Showtime, Big Brother 15 After Dark will air on TVGN following the show’s premiere episode on June 26, 2013.

Every night beginning at midnight, two hours of footage will air live from the Big Brother 15 house. Many fans are concerned that the new network may want to “censor” the live footage a tad, I mean, it’s not Showtime, that’s for sure. Also, many are concerned they won’t get the show because their cable provider does not carry TVGN.

Big Brother 15 is full of changes this season, most notably the live feeds moving from Superpass to CBS.com. No one seems to know what the new feeds will be like, if they’ll be cut more often, or even how much they will be. Oh, and don’t even mention Flashback, I have a feeling that’s a thing of the past.

What do you think about the changes for BB15? There’s a lot of uncertainty this season, but one thing’s for certain, BB15 is living up to it’s “Expect the Unexpected” motto, no question!
