Jennifer Garner & Ben Affleck’s divorce off: ‘a few weeks ago, things changed’

US Magazine has a new article on the sidebar this week letting us know about the state of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s relationship, because we really needed another update after the sidebar on the cover of People last week. Every day I wonder how they’re doing, if they’re still a couple, if Ben is off cavorting with random women on yachts in Canada or both because you know those two things are not mutually exclusive. Jen knows it too on some level, but she may have stuffed it deep down where she keeps her knowledge of fashionable shoes because US is reporting the divorce is now off.

In fact, talk of divorce has ceased altogether, sources reveal in the new issue of Us Weekly.

“Jen mentioned that the divorce was going through very soon, and then a few weeks ago, things changed,” says a source close to Garner. “It does not seem to be moving in that direction.”

The Justice League actor, 43, and actress, 44, are cohabiting in their $17.5 million, five-bedroom mansion, albeit in separate bedrooms. Garner revealed in the March issue of Vanity Fair that she sleeps with their oldest daughter, Violet; Affleck bunks in the guest room, according to a close source.

“Jen seems to still be in love with Ben but doesn’t allow her mind to go there,” says the Garner pal. “She just focuses on the kids.”

The man down the hall is also having trouble letting go. “If it was up to Ben,” adds a second insider, “they would be together. He feels like he can’t live without Jen.”

Still, an Affleck source insists lawyers are hammering out the details of their divorce privately. “They were never in a rush to file. This was always the plan…

“They want their kids’ lives to go on as uninterrupted as possible,” says a source.

Some people will say US is making this up, but this is consistent with People’s report last week, and as I usually mention, US had Garner’s side of the divorce along with exclusive details from their relationship and breakup vacation, where Garner figured out Affleck was sleeping with their kids’ nanny. (I would like to get an update from Ouzounian, but I bet she signed an ironclad NDA.) So Affleck wanted to get back with Garner and she’s letting him stick around until the next time he publicly embarrasses her. Maybe she figures if he keeps him on notice he’ll be faithful, at least by outside appearances.

Jennifer Garner & Ben Affleck ‘making it work,’ not sure if they will divorce

So are these two still telling the press every up and down in their relationship or did ET ask and get this kind of non-committal answer? ET had another story a couple of weeks ago saying that they were “fine.” Whatever is going on, The tipster who sent us this story also pointed to this story in the Daily Mail in which Affleck was seen visiting a “friend’s” place in LA over the weekend. (Those photos are below.) He has wet hair so he may have been going for personal training or a massage or something.

People has a competing story that Ben doesn’t want the divorce but Jen is “adamant” about going through with it. It sounds just like their story from earlier in June. It was a year yesterday since they announced the divorce and then dealt with nannygate:

A friend of Garner’s says that “Ben still doesn’t want the divorce” but that Garner has denied reconcilation rumors to pals. She “doesn’t seem to mind at all that [the divorce] is not finalized,” but “she seems adamant about going through with it,” the friend says.

“She did have the best time in Europe with Ben and the kids,” says her friend. “She seemed to enjoy spending time with Ben again.”

“They have a lot of admiration and respect for each other,” adds a source close to the couple.

The couple are continuing to stay together at their family home when they’re both in L.A. as Affleck flies back and forth to London for filming.

Another source close to the couple told PEOPLE recently that “nothing has changed” in the relationship: “They’re still all about putting the kids first.”

So this seems to be the new normal for them. I mean this kind of tentative relationship along with competing stories in the press about whether they’re getting back together or not. As long as we’re talking about them, right?

Radar reported that Jennifer’s mom and dad, who live in Charleston, WV where she grew up, have had their home destroyed by the devastating flooding there and are staying in a hotel. They state that Jen is planning a fundraiser to help, and she has also publicly asked for support for Save The Children, with whom she’s worked in the past and which is doing relief work on the ground. Incidentally, Radar claims to have an exclusive interview with Jen’s dad which “reveals how she won [Ben] back for good.” That’s what they write in the title, but all Mr. Garner says is that he is “awful proud” of Jen and “would prefer not to comment on her plans. Any news will come from her and not from us.”

Kylie Jenner & Tyga: Is Their Relationship Toxic?

The drama surrounding Kylie Jenner and Tyga continues to get crazier.

There’s no denying that Tyga is not someone who should be trusted. He has the WORST track record.

Now, with word of Tyga and Kylie rekindling their romance, there are fresh reports that Tyga is treating Kylie badly in order to keep her keen.

Okay then. We didn’t know THAT was still a thing, but this is Tyga.

“He’s a total control freak and totally working her into a jealous frenzy whenever he gets the chance,” an insider told Radar.

“It’s how he’s always kept her hooked — by playing on her insecurities.”

Kylie has every reason to have doubts about him. Wasn’t it just a few weeks ago that there were reports of him giving her an STD?

He deserves to be under a microscope if he wants to go around treating his woman like trash.

Why does Kylie put up with it all?

“She’s young. When you’re young, you’re going to make mistakes,” the insider noted.

“All of those mistakes are going to be in the public eye, so that puts a lot of strain on the relationship.”

He even went as far as going out with a Kylie lookalike named Demi Rose. It’s obvious he’s trying to get under her skin.

“Tyga’s been boasting to pals that he knew Kylie would come back if he treated her bad,” the insider told Radar. “Now he’s got the upper hand.”

“If she starts acting out he just has to mention Demi’s name or ‘accidentally’ let her see a picture of her on his cell,” added the insider. “Kylie’s really just a kid and can’t see through his games — it’s a toxic situation.”

The dude sure tries to act like he’s this master manipulator.

Sources: Calvin Harris dumped Taylor because he couldn’t handle her success

A lot of people think I’m a Taylor Swift-hater. I’m really not! I like to call her out on her bulls—t, of course, but I actually love her. I love that she rarely takes the high road. I love that she’s so smart in business and an absolute idiot when it comes to romance. I love that you can always count on Taylor to be a melodramatic narcissist. I even love the fact that absolutely NO ONE believed that Taylor and Calvin Harris’s split was going to be drama-free. Where’s the fun in that? So I had a smile on my face when I read People Magazine’s new exclusive story on The End of the Fairy Tale. Guess how Team Swifty is spinning the fact that Taylor got dumped again? Calvin Harris was intimidated by her success!

Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift’s relationship ended because the DJ was “intimidated” by her success, a friend of the singer tells PEOPLE.

“[Harris] said on multiple occasions that he was intimidated by Taylor, which is why he would not attend any events where she was being honored, or any award shows unless he was nominated,” explains Swift’s friend. Harris, 32, was notably absent when Swift co-chaired the Met Gala last month, as well as at the Grammys ceremony in February, and when the “Bad Blood” singer accepted an award named after her at the May BMI Pop Awards. But Swift is holding her head high, adds the pal. “Taylor is an independent young woman, and she realizes it will take a very secure man to handle her success,” says her friend.

A source close to the DJ – whom sources confirm ultimately pulled the plug on the relationship – tells PEOPLE that the split “wasn’t a shock” for Swift because the couple had ongoing issues.

“They come from very different worlds,” the source explains. “Taylor is used to being treated a certain way.” The Harris insider added that he didn’t feel like the relationship was “leading anywhere.”

“It wasn’t an equal relationship. Their age difference might not be significant for many couples, but for them it was part of the problem too,” says the Harris source. “Taylor somewhat lacks real-life experience. They will not be getting back together.”

Regardless, the insider says that Harris still has high praise for his ex, noting that the Scottish star “very much admires her as a person and what she has been able to do with her career. This is what drew him to her in the first place. She works incredibly hard for things that she believes in,” the Harris source says. He always saw that as an amazing quality. They are still friendly.”

She’s basically telling the world that she got dumped because poor little Calvin Harris felt emasculated by her success. She’s calling him insecure. She’s saying that he couldn’t handle the fact that she’s so rich, beautiful and acclaimed. Is that the truth? Does it matter? As for the quotes from Team Calvin sources… well, this was always the reason why Calvin and Taylor were perfect together. He gives as good as he gets, and he’s great at unleashing his inner bitch. “Taylor somewhat lacks real-life experience.” OUCH. He’s saying she’s immature, naïve and insular. “They will not be getting back together.” As in, she wanted to get back together and he didn’t.

Meanwhile, the National Enquirer says that Taylor was convinced that Calvin was cheating on her after that now-infamous massage parlor incident. And sources claim Calvin was convinced that Taylor was cheating on him after he heard about her behavior with Tom Hiddleston at the Met Gala. There are a lot of people who think TIDDLES (Taylor + Hiddles) could be a reality soon. Still, other people want to see Taylor go for Prince Harry. I don’t see that, mostly because Taylor is SO not Harry’s type. Blake Lively is Harry’s type. I think TIDDLES is a better possibility than TARRY.

Gigi Hadid & Zayn Malik broke up after 7 months together, Gigi’s ‘really sad’

I called it weeks ago! As soon as Gigi Hadid started getting pap’d in LA and New York solo, looking sort of sad and out of sorts, I knew that something was up. I even speculated – based off of some tabloid reporting – that Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid were through last week. And now E! News is confirming it. Zayn and Gigi are over after seven months together. They’re young and impulsive and “sources” believe that it’s possible they may get back together.

Another young Hollywood couple has decided to call it quits. E! News exclusively confirms that model Gigi Hadid and singer Zayn Malik have broken up after dating for roughly seven months. While the reason behind their split remains unknown at the moment, a source tells us that there has been some rough patches within the relationship for a bit now.

“During her birthday they were fighting,” an insider tells E! News, adding that they weren’t doing well then, and have “broken up and got back together a few times.”

Another source confirms the breakup, but also reveals that there may be a reconciliation in the near future, telling E! News, “Zayn and Gigi did break up, but they can likely get back together tomorrow. It’s all very unclear what’s going on between them now. They been having some issues lately that involved communication and getting along.”

The source adds, “Gigi is really sad about this, though, and in a way would like to work it out. It’s more about that constant contact with Zayn that she misses and they did get very close.”

Us Weekly confirmed the split but they had no new details. The vibe I was getting – and which I’m still getting – is that Zayn pulled the plug for unknown reasons. I said last week that he’s crazy if he thinks he can upgrade to a bigger, more high-profile model, and all of the Zayn-loonies made it sound like Zayn and Gigi were never going to last because reasons. Whatever, y’all. I thought they were perfect together, and I also thought that Gigi helped Zayn get to the next level after he left One Direction. Before Gigi, many saw him as just some punk who made a terrible career decision. Gigi “legitimatized” him in a lot of ways – he wasn’t just some punk, he was the next Justin Timberlake, and Gigi was his muse.

Calvin Harris has a ‘huge amount of love & respect’ for Swifty, but was he ‘bored’?

Considering that Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris’s breakup went from zero to DRAMA in the span of an hour on Wednesday, it’s sort of interesting that Calvin is trying to reclaim the higher ground. After some particularly juicy gossip came out about the breakup last night, Calvin tweeted this:

The only truth here is that a relationship came to an end & what remains is a huge amount of love and respect

“A huge amount of love and respect…” Sure. For what it’s worth, I think they really did care about each other. I know there were always claims that this was all a contractual relationship, but I think they were for real. And now she’s heartbroken and he’s doing damage control and their teams are leaking damaging stories and it’s all so petty and melodramatic and amazing. Speaking of, , People Magazine had a bitchy he-said/she-said story last night, with Swifty sources claiming that Calvin dumped Swifty because he was intimidated by her success. This is what Page Six had to say about that:

Calvin Harris breaking up with Taylor Swift because he’s “intimidated by her success is a bunch of crap,” a source close to the DJ told Page Six.

“She broke up with him this week,” the source said. “She gave a bulls - - t excuse about her career. He was ring shopping.”

A friend of Swift’s had told People magazine that Harris was “intimidated” by her success and “would not attend any events where she was being honored.” But another source told us, “He’s not intimidated. He’s a global success.” The couple dated for 15 months.

Love it. Love everything about it! And no, I don’t believe he was ring-shopping. And no, I don’t believe Taylor dumped Calvin. Taylor only acts this crazy when she’s the one who gets dumped, and all of the other sources are still sticking to the original story, that he dumped her last week. Still, E! News’ sources claim that Calvin was unhappy for months:

For Calvin Harris, the spark in his relationship with Taylor Swift had fizzled out long before he called it quits, E! News has learned.

“Adam has been bored for a while and was hoping the spark would come back but it hasn’t,” a source told E! News exclusively Thursday. “Friends were even surprised it lasted this long because of the lack of chemistry.”

I do think that Calvin Harris’s pre-Swifty girlfriends were “sexy” ladies, more of the model/bombshell variety. And while I love Swifty, she has always come across as somewhat asexual, like she’s more about cats, baking and antiquing. Still, I think there’s something mean about all of these Team Calvin sources insisting that Tay and Calvin had no heat together.

Liam Hemsworth FINALLY Opens Up About Relationship With Miley Cyrus

Liam Hemsworth has been impressively silent when it comes to his relationship with Miley Cyrus.

The two rekindled their relationship around the new year, but neither party has spoken publicly about it.

Now, in an interview with GQ Australia, Liam opens up a little and confirms he and Miley are very much back on, confessing that she makes him happy.

“I guess when I feel something, then I just feel it and I go for it,” Hemsworth said, speaking about their relationship.

“I make my decisions about what’s going to make me happy, what I think is right and what I want to do — and I don’t worry too much outside of that,” he continued.

While the Hunger Games actor does not specifically reveal their exact relationship status, he hinted that fans already knew.

“People will figure it out, they already have,” he said. “They’re not dumb.”

What the WHAT?!

What does he mean we’ve figured it out?

In the past few months, we’ve heard rumors of an engagement, a pregnancy, cheating by both parties, breakups and even a secret, unofficial beach wedding in which they exchanged palm fronds for rings.

Is he saying it’s all true?

You’re killing us, Liam.

The most prevalent rumor as of now is that the two are engaged to be married and are preparing to wed sometime this year in Liam’s native Australia.

We’ve also received reports that Miley is pregnant and planning a shotgun wedding, but we’re going to go out on a limb and say that’s probably false.

But you never know, and Liam hasn’t denied it.
