Is Keke Palmer back with Darius Jackson? They spent the weekend together

In July Keke Palmer unfollowed her baby’s dad, Darius Jackson, after he shamed her for wearing a skimpy outfit when she was at an Usher concert. It was nonsensical, tired misogynoir. He shamed her for wearing something hot because she was “a mom” as if moms suddenly have to be modest. He was dragged to hell and back and all of his other embarrassing, misogynistic, and problematic tweets from days of old were aired out. I hoped that the unfollowing meant she had dumped his ass because she deserves better. Keke has megawatt charisma and talent and she should be with a man who worships her instead of firing off petty, insecure tweets about her outfits. But she spent her birthday weekend with him and they seem coupled up again. Sigh. They were on an Instagram live–it looked like they were out to lunch–and she thanked him for making her birthday “so special” and he called her his partner in crime. He also teased her about being a Virgo.

On Saturday, the fitness instructor took to Instagram Live with the “Nope” star as they enjoyed some alcoholic beverages to commemorate her special day.

In the clip, Palmer joked with Jackson about why he talks trash about Virgos, which is her astrological sign.

“My mom’s a Virgo, my brother’s a Virgo, my best friend’s a Virgo, my grandma’s a Virgo,” he said before looking at the actress.

“My partner in crime’s a Virgo.”

Palmer then thanked Jackson, 29, for taking her out on her birthday “as always.”

“I just thank you for making it special for my birthday. That’s so sweet,” she gushed.

Their reunion comes nearly two months after Jackson shamed her for wearing a sexy outfit to an Usher concert.

She also has a tattoo of his birth date on her right leg just below her butt. In her scorching hot birthday Instagram pics you can see it. I don’t know if it’s new or not. But regardless, this man has no business being with this woman. I guess she’s forgiven him but when he tweeted about her outfit and then doubled down about it, he sounded like a controlling, demeaning, shaming guy. I hope she sees him for who he really is soon and gets out of there. I know he’s the father of her child but I just know someone better is out there for her.

Also, the shade towards Virgos? Miss me with that. Keke plays it off hilariously but he can’t even find something sweet to say about her in the video, he has to say “don’t believe the hype” on Virgos, including Keke. I’m an Aries so I know that I annoy all the Virgos around me but I’ve always had a soft spot for them. We need people in the world with immaculately color-coded spreadsheets (couldn’t be me; when I have to keep track of data at my day job, I use tally marks in a notebook labelled, coyly, “observations”). We need people who remember to bring snacks and “circle back” and make dinner reservations six weeks in advance. Virgos are not the problem here, Darius, your attitude is.

Ashanti Nelly Reconciliations

Nelly and Ashanti ‘are back together and both of them are very happy’

Now here’s a mid-aughts couple I did not expect to make a comeback in 2023. Nelly and Ashanti are, apparently, back together and very happy. They were spotted together last month, holding hands in Las Vegas. And they also performed one of their songs together during a pool party. Now sources have confirmed that the pair are officially back together.

Rekindling the flame! Nelly and Ashanti are making another go at their romantic relationship.

After sparking romance rumors last month, when they were spotted spending time together in Las Vegas, a source tells ET, “Nelly and Ashanti are back together and both of them are very happy.”

Nelly, 48, and Ashanti, 42, were seen holding hands as they walked through T-Mobile Arena late last month, during the Gervonta Davis vs. Ryan Garcia fight. In another video posted to social media, the duo was captured performing their hit “Body on Me,” during a pool party.

Another source tells ET, “Nelly and Ashanti are really enjoying their time together.”

The singers began their relationship in 2003. The pair had an on-again, off-again romance before officially calling it quits in 2013.

In February, ET spoke with Nelly at the GRAMMYs, where he shared that time had healed their past wounds.

“Time does wonders for a lot of different things,” he told ET. “And time is one those things that allows you time to reflect on what’s what, and you get a chance to see things in a different light and see your faults. So I think we both did that and it’s cool that we just friends.”

In December, fans began to question the status of their relationship after Ashanti appeared onstage with the “Country Grammar” rapper at the Power 98.3 and 96.1’s Under the Mistletoe concert in Arizona.

Following the performance, Ashanti appeared on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, where she was asked about her reaction to fans wanting her to get back with the rapper.

“My reaction was ‘wow,’” she told host Andy Cohen. “It was a lot of comments and a lot of people wanting that.” However, she played coy when pressed on whether or not the two were exploring the possibility of getting back together.

So there has been fan speculation since December, when Nelly and Ashanti appeared onstage together at radio stations’ holiday concerts. She sort of fanned the flames when Andy Cohen asked her about it on Watch What Happens Live and Nelly alluded to a reunion when speaking to ET at the Grammys two months later. They were together on/off from 2003-2013, and now they’re back together in 2023, so 10 years seems to be the sweet spot for them. I remember we talked about Nelly and Ashanti a lot when I was in high school. My friends and I loved them as a couple and were so sad when they broke up, but in intervening years became rather relieved because there were rumors he was kind of holding back her career. Whatever the case may be, Ashanti seems to think Nelly and what they had is worth another shot, and we all want the best for Ashanti.

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez’s reconciliation is fated, says celebrity astrologer

As you know, Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have been very public about their rekindled romance. They’ve been seen canoodling in New York and Italy, unabashedly (I mean they are two Leos). It would seem the two have moved on from the heartbreak that Ben caused Jennifer back in 2004 shortly before their planned nuptials. C’est love folks or perhaps it’s fate. According to celebrity astrologer, Aliza Kelly, Ben and Jen’s romance is written in the stars. Aliza stated on the first episode of her weekly People TV podcast, Celebrity Astrology Investigation, that Ben and Jen’s original bond in 2002 began when an eclipse activated their Saturn and Venus conjunction. In fact, allow Aliza to explain the details:

On the first episode of the new weekly video series, airing Tuesdays, celebrity astrologer Aliza Kelly identifies an indelible connection in the birth charts of Lopez, 52, and Affleck, 49. By Kelly’s calculation, the artist’s Venus and the actor’s Saturn were “exactly aligned” in 2002, with the planets “bonding together as activated by the eclipses.”

Explaining that the north and south nodes (representing destiny and history, respectively) have an orbit of about 19 years, for the first time, she said the lunar nodes have cycled to the exact same place they were in 2002.

“I don’t know how else to say this, but it would appear this reconnection is quite literally fated!” Kelly exclaimed. “I literally have goosebumps.”

Though the couple is back smiling in the spotlight, recently making their first red carpet appearance together in 15 years, the astrologer acknowledged how much has changed since they split. Lopez and Affleck first dated in July 2002 and later got engaged, before calling it off in January 2004.

Now, the This is Your Destiny author said the couple could be challenged to redefine their relationship in a whole new world.

“Fundamentally, Leos are looking for lovers, someone to share their throne with. From an astrological perspective, the question isn’t whether Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are compatible – they are,” she teased. “The question is how they’re defining their Leo kingdom today.”

I am a huge astrology nerd and Ben and Jen have some interesting contacts in their natal charts. Both are Leo suns and Scorpio moons (they feel at home with each other). They both have Mercury in Leo as well which means they communicate well with each other. With both of them being Leo suns and Scorpio moons, there is a lot of passion (and drama) between them. But Scorpio moons can be tricky and secretive AF. And with Ben’s Saturn (the planet of commitment) aspecting Jen’s Venus (planet of lub), this is definitely a stick and stay situation. I am skeptical of this new but old romance (I feel it is moving too fast), but I can definitely see how they are drawn to each other when I look at their synastry chart. I am hoping that this time Ben’s Leo ego doesn’t f*ck it up. I don’t believe in fate per se but I do believe that our natal charts carry energy that allow us to connect or avoid people depending on the energy in their charts. I hope this relationship works out for them. Bennifer definitely has the energy of the stars in their favor. I am subscribing to this podcast. Despite being an astrology lover, I am not an expert and I love hearing how others interpret charts.

Jennifer Garner John Miller Reconciliations

Jennifer Garner and her on-again ex, John Miller, spotted out in NYC together

In May and June, when the Bennifer reconciliation was new, sources were telling E! that Jennifer Garner wanted to stay out of the media circus surrounding her ex and his on-again ex-fiance. Other outlets reported that Garner could tell Affleck was happy and that she thought J.Lo was a good person. We also heard in May that Garner had reunited with her elusive ex, fast food technology businessman John Miller. Garner and Miller were previously together from about February, 2018 to the summer of last year. (We heard about them in the fall of 2018.) It looks like they really are on again because they were photographed out in New York together last week. You can see the photos in the tweet below and on People.com.

Garner is likely able to travel because Affleck and their kids are now hanging out in LA with Lopez and her kids. Ben’s mom is there to help out too with her grandkids. They were all seen at a showing of Hamilton and at a placed called The Magic Castle in Hollywood, which sounds awesome. Here’s People’s writeup on the Garner Miller sighting. I’m pretty sure this is only the third time they’ve ever been photographed together. (The other two times are in this post.)

Garner, 49, was spotted with John Miller, 43, in New York City on Tuesday. Garner donned a sweater, jeans and a face mask for the outing, while Miller wore dark pants and a flannel shirt rolled up to his elbows.

The pair casually dated in 2018 following Garner’s split from Ben Affleck, with a source telling PEOPLE at the time, “It’s not serious, but she enjoys his company.” About a year later, Garner and Miller were seen together again, but never publicly confirmed their romance or split.

The photos are from somewhat far away, there aren’t any photos where they’re side by side or looking loved up, and none of the outlets have any sourced quotes about how this relationship is going. Plus the photo agency is Splash, which is not the agency that consistently has photos of the Garner-Afflecks, that’s Backgrid (formerly Fame Flynet). All of this suggests that Garner didn’t call the paps and that she was legitimately caught out with Miller. I could be wrong and she could be playing this cleverly by not giving any quotes yet. Anyway I hope she’s getting hers and that she’s able to chill and have a good time in NY. It’s got to be nice to have a mini vacation on the other coast. I only have one kid and when he was younger it felt like a huge vacation just to get time off. He wasn’t a tough kid to raise at all, it’s just a lot of work to be on mom duty 24/7. I didn’t have nannies or help around the house though. Plus I bet she flew private to NY. That must be a major advantage to being crazy rich like that. I don’t care about designer stuff but I would love to fly private.

Garner is back in LA now. She was spotted out shopping for school supplies with her kids on Sunday.

Jennifer Garner & Ben Affleck’s divorce off: ‘a few weeks ago, things changed’

US Magazine has a new article on the sidebar this week letting us know about the state of Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner’s relationship, because we really needed another update after the sidebar on the cover of People last week. Every day I wonder how they’re doing, if they’re still a couple, if Ben is off cavorting with random women on yachts in Canada or both because you know those two things are not mutually exclusive. Jen knows it too on some level, but she may have stuffed it deep down where she keeps her knowledge of fashionable shoes because US is reporting the divorce is now off.

In fact, talk of divorce has ceased altogether, sources reveal in the new issue of Us Weekly.

“Jen mentioned that the divorce was going through very soon, and then a few weeks ago, things changed,” says a source close to Garner. “It does not seem to be moving in that direction.”

The Justice League actor, 43, and actress, 44, are cohabiting in their $17.5 million, five-bedroom mansion, albeit in separate bedrooms. Garner revealed in the March issue of Vanity Fair that she sleeps with their oldest daughter, Violet; Affleck bunks in the guest room, according to a close source.

“Jen seems to still be in love with Ben but doesn’t allow her mind to go there,” says the Garner pal. “She just focuses on the kids.”

The man down the hall is also having trouble letting go. “If it was up to Ben,” adds a second insider, “they would be together. He feels like he can’t live without Jen.”

Still, an Affleck source insists lawyers are hammering out the details of their divorce privately. “They were never in a rush to file. This was always the plan…

“They want their kids’ lives to go on as uninterrupted as possible,” says a source.

Some people will say US is making this up, but this is consistent with People’s report last week, and as I usually mention, US had Garner’s side of the divorce along with exclusive details from their relationship and breakup vacation, where Garner figured out Affleck was sleeping with their kids’ nanny. (I would like to get an update from Ouzounian, but I bet she signed an ironclad NDA.) So Affleck wanted to get back with Garner and she’s letting him stick around until the next time he publicly embarrasses her. Maybe she figures if he keeps him on notice he’ll be faithful, at least by outside appearances.
