AC/DC 2016 Concert Bootleggers Beware The Feds Will Be Watching You!

The kick ass rock band AC/DC is fed up with bootleggers and the theft/profit from their hard work and have asked the United States government to step in. Sources have confirmed that the band has pre-filed documents to stop the sale of non-authentic merchandise sold in and around the bands concerts and asked for US Marshals help in up holding the law. The concerts will have United States Marshals at the venues for both security and to help in the fight against counterfeit merchandise. Our Spy’s have also informed us that there will soon be Ebay stings on companies claiming merch to be authentic. An insider that is working with the band said: “It’s a widespread problem on a scale that you would not believe and we feel that this would be a good test to see how much of an impact our agents can have.” The band that made the second most money for a tour last year just behind Taylor Swift at just over $180M is not being “greedy” according to lead guitarist Angus Young: “We are not trying to be ass holes or greedy, we are just tired of seeing these guys at our concerts profiting off of our hard work selling counterfeit crap merch to our fans.” The band is set to start the 2016 tour in Tacoma and end in NY: 2/02 > Tacoma, Wash. — Tacoma Dome 2/05 > Las Vegas, Nev. — MGM Grand Arena 2/08 > Denver, Colo. — Pepsi Center 2/11 > Fargo, N.D. — Fargo Dome 2/14 > St. Paul, Minn. — Xcel Energy Center 2/17 > Chicago, Ill. — United Center 2/20 > St. Louis, Mo. — Scottrade Center 2/23 > Dallas, Texas — American Airlines Center 2/26 > Houston, Texas — Toyota Center 2/29 > Kansas City, Mo. — Sprint Center 3/08 > Atlanta, Ga. — Philips Arena 3/11 > Ft. Jar of Flies Celebrates 22 Years

The iconic Alice in Chains album “Jar of Flies” celebrates 22 years today. The EP debuted on January 25, 1994, through Columbia Records, and was the first EP in music history that made it’s debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 Album Chart. Recorded at London Bridge Studio in September 1993, current London Bridge Studio co-owner Jonathan Plum assisted in making the “Jar of Flies” album. The EP included singles “No Excuses”, “I Stay Away” and “Nutshell”. In 1993 after returning home from tour which included Lalapalooza, the members of Alice in Chains found themselves evicted from their crash pad. Through some miscommunication, the band forgot to pay their rent and ended up with no place to stay. So, they took up residence at Seattle’s London Bridge Studios until they could sort things out. However, their stay yielded what would become one of the most influential album’s of the 90’s. Lonely, depressed and homeless, the band made the best of their situation and creativity flourished into what would become the Jar of Flies EP. “I just wanted to go into the studio for a few days with our acoustic guitars and see what happened,” said legendary frontman, Layne Staley to Hit Parader. “We never really planned on the music we made at that time to be released. But the record label heard it and they really liked it. For us, it was just the experience of four guys getting together in the studio and making some music.” The “Jar of Flies” title, Staley said, came from an experiment guitarist, Jerry Cantrell, conducted as a kid. Staley goes on to explain the experiment, “They gave him two jars full of flies. One of the jars they overfed, the other jar they underfed. The one they overfed flourished for a while, then all the flies died from overpopulation. The one they underfed had most of the flies survive all year. I guess there’s a message in there somewhere. Evidently that experiment had a big impact on Jerry.” I think I can speak for a majority of 90’s alternative kids when I say “Jerry and Layne have definitely had an impact on us!” Thanks for 22 years worth of amazing, fellas! Rest easy Layne, we miss you. The post Jar of Flies Celebrates 22 Years appeared first on Showbiz Spy.

Here is sample of some of the new music I’ve been working on. It’s definitely a little different than what you’re used to hearing me do with Lamb. LISTEN – Kanye West and Miley Cyrus Leaked Track ‘Black Skinhead’

News of a collaboration first surfaced in 2013 after it was heard that Kanye West and Miley Cyrus were working on a remix of Yeezus track “Black Skinhead”. The track was quickly cut and never heard of again after the VMA Twerking scandal in 2013. Well good news, here is the track that was cut: The track is said to retain the overall industrial vibe of Yeezus, though Cyrus “softens” the crushing blows with a sultry rendition of the hook from the “Tears for Fears” 85′ mega hit ‘Everybody Wants to Rule the World.’ Insiders are saying that the track may be featured on Kanye’s new Swish album that is supposed to be released 02/11/16.
