Ryan Phillippe has aggressively defended Saudi Arabia as he and other celebrities face fierce backlash for attending a music festival in the country – as some accused them of being ‘shameless’ and accepting six-figure sums to help rehabilitate the country’s image. A bevy of stars have been slammed since they started inundating social media with photos of themselves attending the MDL Beast music festival in Riyadh over the weekend without mentioning the country’s controversial human rights record. The likes of Sofia Richie, Winnie Harlow, Alessandra Ambrosio, Joan Smalls, Irina Shayk , Stella Maxwell, Luka Sabbat, Armie Hammer, Scott Disick and Phillippe all shared multiple photos in recent days that were tagged in Riyadh. While the majority have not responded to the backlash, Phillippe has been lashing out at people commenting on his Instagram posts. ‘Things are changing, hopefully you do too sh*thead,’ he wrote to one person. He said to another: ‘It’s changing moron. Have you been? I’d love to take any woman important to me. Ryan Phillippe tells what happened night of domestic violence claim
Back in the fall of 2017, police came to Ryan Phillippe’s Los Angeles home because his then girlfriend, Elsie Hewitt, was reporting some pretty severe violence claims. According to Hewitt, in the midst of a loud fight Ryan threw her down the steps. Specifically, she claimed that he “violently threw her down his staircase as hard he could” and then “picked [her] up like a doll and tossed her down the stairs,” according to court documents obtained by The Blast. But Phillippe says that’s not at all what happened. “You know, this was an impasse. Nothing was changing. And she was refusing to leave until she got into the bedroom,” the actor stated in his deposition. “And at one point, I thought that I was going to try to remove her from the premises and set her outside and close the door. Because I didn’t know what else to do.” He continued, “And at that point, it hadn’t occurred to me to call the cops. I’m a famous person. I didn’t want to bring that kind of attention to me and my house. And so I attempted to pick her up like a baby. Carrying. Like a child. With one arm under the back and one arm under the legs. And she was flailing. And I made it one step, and I fell back on my bottom, holding her. And that was it.” Hewitt, 23, sued Phillippe for $1 million in September 2017 after the alleged incident in his home on July 3 of that year. Ryan Phillippe’s ex files suit claiming serious abuse
Ryan Phillippe’s girlfriend has just filed a lawsuit against the actor, claiming he abuses cocaine, ecstasy, psychedelic mushrooms and steroids, and has beaten her badly. Elsie Hewitt claims in the lawsuit, on July 4th, she went to pick up things from his house and she realized he was extremely drunk. She says after she tried talking with him he attacked her, grabbed her upper arm so hard it left heavy bruises and violently threw her down the stairs as hard as he could. She claims he continued his assault and picked her up like a doll and threw her down the stairs again. He then screamed, “Get the f*** out of my house you crazy c**t.” She went to the hospital, cops took a report and she got a protective order. She suffered chest wall pain, abrasions and severe bruising. She wants more than $1 million. BUTTTT!!!! Sources connected with Ryan tell TMZ, Elsie showed up to Ryan’s house uninvited and under the influence several days after he broke up with her. They say she was the one who attacked Ryan and refused to leave his home. He removed her from the premises and he claims she fell and hurt herself. Sources close to Ryan say the L.A. City Attorney refused to prosecute after investigating, and they claim she’s filed this lawsuit out of revenge. We’re told Ryan’s side finds it amusing Elsie has sent glamour shots of herself to the media and is out for money and fame.
