Sean Penn and Charlize Theron have been together for a long while now, in Hollywood time. The engagement rumours have been flying since all the way back in July, but wedding there came none, so everyone pretty much figured that was one of those BS press things and let it go. Well, it seems like now they’re engaged FOR REAL. Here’s what little we know: Paris is known as one of the most romantic cities in the world. And it sure seems Sean Penn felt its influence. The actor reportedly asked Charlize Theron to ‘take their relationship to the next level,’ when he proposed on a trip there in late November, a source revealed to UsWeekly on Monday. They only started dating in December of 2013 so I’m sure this will be another disaster, but what the hell, it’s the holidays! Charlize Theron and Sean Penn have been hot and heavy for a while now – what, like a year or more? – and that means there’s one thing we all MUST know: Will they tie the knot? Sure, Charlize is pretty stoked on remaining officially single (read: unmarried), but according to some people, she can’t wait to walk down the aisle with Sean ASAP. From US Weekly: A proposal may be in the works! Charlize Theron and boyfriend Sean Penn are ready to wed, a source reveals to Us Weekly. The couple, who’ve been dating for eight months, are already talking about children, too. “They absolutely want to get married,” a Penn confidant tells Us. Another adds: “They want to grow their family.” Well, that’s… interesting. I’m going to call complete bullshit on this, especially considering how recently Charlize pointed out how happy she is WITHOUT being married. That doesn’t mean her relationship with Sean isn’t strong, it just means she doesn’t feel the need to have a piece of paper to say it.
