The former NFL quarterback reportedly proposed on Wednesday at his family’s farm in Florida. According to PEOPLE, Tim, 31, got down on one knee by a lake during a sunset stroll and Demi-Leigh said yes. ‘I am usually very private with these things but I am very thankful.’ The former Philadelphia Eagles quarterback is known for being a devout Christian, and has said he is saving himself for marriage. Tim presented the pageant beauty with a 7.25-carat solitaire ring while telling his wife-to-be, ‘This ring is internally flawless, just like you.’ The 23-year old beauty is from South Africa but now lives in New York. After the proposal, as a touching surprise organised by Tim, South African singer Matthew Mole appeared and serenaded the couple with their favorite song The Wedding Song. Tim had secretly flown Demi-Leigh’s family over from South Africa to be there for the special moment. They joined his family to watch the proposal from a distance so Demi-Leigh wouldn’t suspect anything.
