You know how Prince Andrew was just sued for sexually abusing Virginia Roberts Giuffre in federal court? You know how the Windsors have been in a blind panic all week because of it? Yeah, no surprise that the Windsors and their media henchmen are doing the most to deflect from Andrew. That order is coming from every palace – it’s one of the few things that Buckingham Palace, Clarence House and Kensington Palace can agree on whenever they’re in crisis: trump up some dumbf–k scandal or controversy about the Duchess of Sussex. All week, we’ve been hearing about Barack Obama’s birthday party and how Meghan and Harry were “snubbed” from being invited. That was on purpose, that was what the Windsors wanted you to look at.
Now they organized something new: Thomas Markle is being trotted out, yet again. Thomas has been busy in recent months, and I guess he’s collecting paychecks wherever he goes. 60 Minutes Australia interviewed him just as Meghan gave birth to Lili Diana. Then he was trotted out to announce his plans to “sue” Harry and Meghan to visit their children. Then on Meghan’s birthday, Toxic Tom “sent roses” to Meghan and told TMZ all about it. Last night, Toxic Tom did an interview with Dan Wootton of all people. The quotes from Thomas sound like they were written out for him by Wootton. I’m sure they were:
On sending Meghan roses: ‘I wished her a happy birthday and brighter days ahead but I’ve not heard back.’
Blaming Harry: ‘I’m blaming Harry for this mostly. Harry has this saying: If you look at the paparazzi, you’re done. I’m surprised Harry never bothered to come and visit me, or ask for my daughter’s hand in marriage. I was lying in hospital, talking to them from hospital, telling them I couldn’t come to wedding and they haven’t talked to me since. You’re a parent and your child’s in hospital, wouldn’t you be concerned if they live or die? They don’t answer or respond in any way shape of form. She’s [Meghan] changed, she’s not the daughter I knew. My daughter was a much more loving person than she is now.’
His grandchildren: ‘I call her Lili, that’s my Lili. It’s the perfect name for her. But, I don’t think Lilibet is necessary, Lili is the perfect name. I’d like to see her, I’d dearly like to see her. I want to hold her, same with Archie. We shouldn’t be punishing [Lili] for Meghan and Harry’s bad behavior. Archie and Lili are small children. They’re not politics. They’re not pawns. They’re not part of the game. And they’re also royal and entitled to the same rights as any other royal.… I will be petitioning the California courts for the rights to see my grandchildren in the very near future.’
On Meghan’s lies: ‘She lied, she has been lying for years… lying about the Archbishop, how can you lie about the Archbishop? Her lies are so obvious I don’t know why she says them.’
On attacking the Queen: Thomas also described the action of Meghan and Harry, in particular the effect it could be having on The Queen as ‘unforgivable’. ‘Both Meghan and Harry are attacking the Royal Family. What they’re doing to The Queen is unforgivable. It’s embarrassing that they’re doing this. Harry’s saying he’s reclaiming his mental illness is a joke. You don’t spend three hours on television talking about it, you speak with a psychiatrist quietly.’
Yeah, Dan Wootton wrote out a script and Thomas Markle performed it for money. They were able to throw this together pretty fast, huh? Not that it takes that long to write this sh-t out for Tom and negotiate his payment for selling out his daughter. Wootton has long been one of Prince William’s go-to columnists, so now I wonder why William even wants the focus on Meghan and her toxic father right now? Surely William would be happy enough to let the focus be on Prince Andrew and how Andrew shouldn’t be allowed to stay at Royal Lodge? William steps on his own sh-tty messaging all the time though, so this tracks.
