Ryan Phillippe’s ex files suit claiming serious abuse

Ryan Phillippe’s girlfriend has just filed a lawsuit against the actor, claiming he abuses cocaine, ecstasy, psychedelic mushrooms and steroids, and has beaten her badly. Elsie Hewitt claims in the lawsuit, on July 4th, she went to pick up things from his house and she realized he was extremely drunk. She says after she tried talking with him he attacked her, grabbed her upper arm so hard it left heavy bruises and violently threw her down the stairs as hard as he could. She claims he continued his assault and picked her up like a doll and threw her down the stairs again. He then screamed, “Get the f*** out of my house you crazy c**t.” She went to the hospital, cops took a report and she got a protective order. She suffered chest wall pain, abrasions and severe bruising.   She wants more than $1 million. BUTTTT!!!!   Sources connected with Ryan tell TMZ, Elsie showed up to Ryan’s house uninvited and under the influence several days after he broke up with her.  They say she was the one who attacked Ryan and refused to leave his home.  He removed her from the premises and he claims she fell and hurt herself. Sources close to Ryan say the L.A. City Attorney refused to prosecute after investigating, and they claim she’s filed this lawsuit out of revenge. We’re told Ryan’s side finds it amusing Elsie has sent glamour shots of herself to the media and is out for money and fame. Heather Locklear hospitalized after driving Porsche into a ditch

Actress Heather Locklear was hospitalized after driving her Porsche into a ditch in California, according to a report. The 55-year-old former “T.J. Hooker” star had the single-car wreck just before 6 p.m. Thursday in Thousand Oaks on Country Valley Road, cops said. “Her vehicle left the road and went down into an embankment,” Sgt. Eric Buschow of the Ventura County Sheriff’s Office said. Locklear was taken to an area hospital with minor injuries, according to police. No drugs or alcohol are believed to have been involved in the crash, police said. “She was alert and cooperative with deputies” after the incident, according to Buschow. The actress has struggled with drug and alcohol abuse for years. In 2008, she checked into a rehab following a DUI arrest and then again in 2010. In January 2012, Locklear was hospitalized after allegedly ingesting prescription drugs with alcohol. Jim Carrey’s Squirrely red carpet interview leaves host confused

This weekend, the pop culture news cycle confirmed what we’ve all been thinking for awhile now: Jim Carrey isn’t just eccentric, he appears to be unwell. Complex reports that during an incredibly awkward Fashion Week interview with E! News‘ Catt Sadler, Carrey questioned the meaning of Fashion Week, the entertainment industry, and human existence, all in a two-minute interview on the red carpet at a Harper’s Bazaar party. The goal of the party was to celebrate icons, a theme which Carrey described as the “absolute lowest aiming possibility that we could come up with.” Sadler, who impressively kept her cool throughout the interview, fired back and asked Carrey if he doesn’t believe that “certain icons have the power to make change, to inspire others.” She then acknowledged that he’s one of those such icons (which is probably how he scored an invite to the party), to which he replied “Get on the Good Foot,” in a James Brown-esque voice. Sadler was noticeably confused, but she attempted to steer the interview back on course, to no avail. “I believe we’re a field of energy dancing for itself,” Carrey said, later insisting that he’s not real and nothing in the world matters. The house offers what listing details call “both grand and intimate spaces” with floor-to-ceiling windows and a capacious, atrium-like entry with overlapping marble stepping stones under soaring vaulted ceilings crisscrossed by a series of floating, open-tread staircases.
