Maddox Jolie-Pitt wants to drop “Pitt” from his name

(Photo by John Shearer/Invision/AP, File) I am so unbelievably torn about this entire divorce and child custody situation.  We all know that Angelina Jolie and at least one of her children, Maddox, has said Brad Pitt got so drunk and upsetting on a flight into LA several years ago that Angelina went home and filed for divorce.  Starting one of the most vicious Hollywood divorces in a while. But I seriously can not image Brad behaving in a way that someone would feel threatened or even deeply hurt.  He’s a stoner with dimples!  But seriously, Angelina has leveled several allegations of abuse against Brad, all were investigated and none were substantiated. That said, Maddox has a beef and the pain is real.  Now comes word that Maddox has already given his testimony in the ongoing dispute between mom and dad (Ang & Brad) and now he’s eager to legally drop the name Pitt from his moniker. A “source” told Us mag, “He doesn’t use Pitt as his last name on documents that aren’t legal and instead uses Jolie. Katherine Heigl undergoes neck surgery

Katherine Heigl is resting after a super scary surgery to replace two discs in her neck with titanium! The actress shared photos on instagram, calling herself bionic, now that all the pieces are in place. “Well…I am now bionic!! Two titanium disk now inhabit my neck and I can probably stand on my head for like hours…I’m not gonna try it just yet but give me a few months and I’ll blow your mind!!” the 42-year-old joked in the caption. Heigl, who didn’t share the cause of her injury, said surgeons inserted two titanium disks into her vertebrae that will provide her with a “new pain free lease on life!” No word on the cause of her neck problems, but they should hold up for a while now! Australian claims Netflix stole his idea and gave it to Zac Efron

Hollywood is no newbie in the world of stealing ideas.  And Australian model and filmmaker Ben Waddell says they’ve done it to him. Waddell says he pitched the idea of an eco travel show back in 2018 and that producers all blew him off and said they were uninterested.  Fast forward to pandemic summer of 2020 and he gets a big shock. ‘I was sitting on my couch during lockdown and turned on Netflix and it was trending as the second-biggest show in the US,’ Ben said. ‘I fell out of my chair, I was shocked. It was brutal, gut-wrenching. ‘Now they’re making a season 2 in Australia just to kick me when I’m down.’ The Australian presenter and production partner Whitney Smith shot a pilot for ‘Down to Earth with Ben Waddell’ at an eco-retreat in Mexico in July 2017. Waddell, through his production company Ghost Donkey Media, is now suing Netflix and Down to Earth makers The Nacelle Company. Lawyers wrote in a concerns notice to both parties that Efron’s show ‘appears to be directly and illegally copied’ from Waddell’s. Stargate SG-1 Star dies in kiteboarding accindent

Such a terrible and random way to go.   Actor Cliff Simon is known to many as villain Ba’al on the hit show Stargate SG-1.  His life was taken this month in a tragic accident. facebook The 58 year old was kiteboarding off Topanga Beach in California back on March 9th when it happened. His wife, Collete, posted a message regarding the tragic incident on Facebook. “It is with unimaginable heartbreak that I am sharing with you, that my beloved husband, Cliff Simon, passed away…” Colette wrote. “He was known to most of you on this page as the villain you loved to hate, Ba’al, from Stargate SG-1. But as he said, ‘acting is what I do, it’s only a part of who I am.’” She continued, “And he was SO much more – a true original, an adventurer, a sailor, swimmer, dancer, actor, author. There is a gaping hole where he once stood on this earth. He was loved by too many to mention and had a great impact on so many lives. He was an amazing and much loved brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend.” There are no details as to how the accident happened, or even what happened. Cliff was from South Africa.  He migrated to England and in 1984 qualified for the British Olympic team as a swimmer. His wife added  “a small saving grace to this tragedy is that he was doing one of the things he loved most and passed away on the beach near the water, which was his temple. Kevin James buys Florida oceanfront mansion

Kevin James has had some ok movies and stand up routines, but he’ll always be the King of Queens to the majority of us.  (save for the occasional Paul Blart fan)  And like most New Yorkers, he likes to warm his bones in sunny Florida. Specifically, Delray Beach. No idea if this massive 11,495 square foot home is his new permanent location, but if it’s a second home, I’d like to see where he lives full time. Weighing in at 6 bedrooms and 7.5 baths, this waterfront masterpiece is like walking into heaven. Literally. Because it’s head to toe white.  Which I hate. But whatevs.   There’s a ginormous pool, an elevator, and a second living space above the garage in case the in laws are in town.   It didn’t come cheap.  Kevs new crash pad was $14,000,000. $14,000,000   6 Beds, 7.5 bath   11,495 square feet. Lady Gaga gets cute with costar Adam Driver

So Lady Gaga and Adam Driver are in Milan filming a new movie called “House of Gucci” by Ridley Scott.  And they are … adorable. In the film, Gaga plays ‘black widow’ Patrizia Reggiani, who marries, divorces and then attempts to murder Maurizio Gucci, heir to the fashion empire. But between takes the two could not be cozier.  Gaga was seen feeding Adam a panini on set and he didn’t seem to mind one bit.  Then the two scooted off to production.  This is a serious couple contender.  They both have that aura of strange around them.  I mean in a good way. lol. Mumford & Sons member leaving band over ANTIFA comments

Winston with wife Diana Argon Mumford & Sons’ banjoist, Winston Marshall, is stepping away from the band he helped form.  Another entertainer taken down by their own words on social media. In a since deleted tweet, Marshall promoted Andy Ngo’s Unmasked: Inside Antifa’s Radical Plan to Destroy Democracy. “Congratulations @MrAndyNgo,” he wrote. “Finally had time read your important book. You’re a brave man.” But due to Andy Ngo’s political views, considered very conservative, many saw it as a support of Proud Boys or even QAnon.  And they began airing their anger on twitter.  Before long, Marshall was bowing out of the band. Marshall, 33, said in a statement posted on Twitter: “Over the past few days I have come to better understand the pain caused by the book I endorsed.  I have offended not only a lot of people I don’t know, but also those closest to me, including my bandmates and for that I am truly sorry.  As a result of my actions I am taking time away from the band to examine my blindspots.  For now, please know that I realise how my endorsements have the potential to be viewed as approvals of hateful, divisive behaviour. I apologise, as this was not at all my intention.” The band has yet to issue a statement on Marshall’s initial tweet or his decision to take a break from the band, but this isn’t the first time they’ve had this type of controversy. Back in 2018 various members of the group posed for a photograph with conservative YouTube personality and clinical psychologist Jordan Peterson, whom EW reported “had been accused of transphobia, misogyny, and Islamophobia.” Marshall told a radio station that he was just interested in psychology and it meant nothing.
