After Nelson Mandela’s death today, Paris Hilton tweeted her condolences. Someone must have seen her tweet and decided to have a little fun.
Her REAL tweet:

And a screenshot of the fake one someone made, claiming she tweeted, then deleted it:
So yeah, apparently the whole thing was a sham and Paris Hilton did NOT confuse Nelson Mandela with Martin Luther King and delete her tweet.
Paris caught wind of the tweet prank and tweeted, “Whoever made that stupid fake tweet lacks respect to the loss the world is mourning right now. Same goes for all the blogs who ran with it.”
It could have so easily have happened though…
