Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn Dating: Do you think he told her everything?
The past few months there’s been speculation that there was something going on between Tiger Woods and Lindsey Vonn and in case anyone was in doubt, or cared enough at all, both Woods and Vonn took to their Facebook pages Monday to confirm it themselves.
Woods, 37, wrote: “This season has been great so far and I’m happy with my wins at Torrey and Doral. Something nice that’s happened off the course was meeting Lindsey Vonn.”
“Lindsey and I have been friends for some time, but over the last few months we have become very close and are now dating. We thank you for your support and for respecting our privacy. We want to continue our relationship, privately, as an ordinary couple and continue to compete as athletes.”
Of course his message was anything but private.
28-year-old Vonn confirmed the relationship on her page by writing: “I guess it wasn’t a well-kept secret but yes, I am dating Tiger Woods. Our relationship evolved from a friendship into something more over these past few months and it has made me very happy. I don’t plan on addressing this further as I would like to keep that part of my life between us, my family and close friends. Thank you for understanding and your continued support! xo LV”
Along with the public confirmations, the couple posted a series of photos that are totally family portrait style. They both look good and they look happy but something about them…just makes me feel awkward for them. (Side note: Is it just me or does Vonn look like she could be Brooke Mueller’s sister?)
Anyway, it’s natural that normal minds would wander to “what the hell is this lady thinking?” and “He is totally going to cheat on her”, or maybe that’s just my paranoid, non-trusting mind, but from what I hear, that is the consensus.
Well, no worries, because according to sources close to the golfer, he’s told his lady all about his past.
Says a friend of the couple: “They’re a really happy couple — not living together yet,”
As for his very public past of infidelities, the source says, “”He confessed everything in his past to her and stuff – they’re really into each other.”
Well okay then! I guess that’s that. I’m going to try and keep positive and hope all works out for the couple. We’d like to think people could change, right?
