t.A.T.u. Singer Would “Condemn” Her Son If He Was Gay

Remember the band t.A.T.u? A duo of female singers from Russia who were best known for kissing each other on stage? One of the singers, Yulia Volkova, appears to be a homophobe, saying she would “condemn” her son if he were gay…and yet would make exceptions for her daughter. Via Huffington Post: When asked during a recent TV appearance if she would “condemn” her son if he was gay, Yulia Volkova, former member of the Russian girl band t.A.T.u, shocked fans by saying that “yes,” she absolutely would. Why? Because, in her words, A man must be a man. She also added that a man has, no right to be a faggot. I can’t even with this, I mean I really can’t even. My ability to even? It is GONE. However, what if her daughter turned out to be gay? She would be okay with that. Why? Because, It seems to me that lesbians look aesthetically much nicer than two men holding their hands or kissing. Oh, okay, sure. Yeah, that makes sense. The cannot even rage is building… In 2006, Volkova said, Our slogan is to love and it’s not important whom to love. We want to say that a boy can love a boy and a girl can love a girl. If all people would love each other, it would be easier to live in this world. If people are led by hatred and evil, nothing good would happen from this. …so, like…what happened to that? Again, I’m sorry, but I cannot even with this right now. What do YOU think of her views and statements? Follow us on Twitter | Facebook

Britney’s Wedding Planner Gives Insider Info On KFed Wedding

Britney Spears got married to Kevin Federline 10 years ago — feel old yet? They were married September 18, 2004, at the home of Britney’s wedding planner, Alyson Fox. Now she’s talking to Time magazine (I know, right?) about the experience and gives insider info on the whole weird wedding. Fun fact: this was Ms. Fox’s first and only celebrity wedding. It was also a surprise wedding. And originally, the venue wasn’t supposed to be her (Alyson Fox’s) house, but after the media figured out where the wedding would be they had to scramble and come up with a different location, which they did — in 10 days. Here are some choice quotes: TIME: Britney and Kevin Federline’s engagement was huge. Did you think that this would be one of the biggest weddings- Alyson Fox: —of my career? Yes, I mean, she is Britney Spears. I first interviewed with Felicia, her assistant for years, and I didn’t know who I was meeting with, just that it was a VIP… I met Britney and her mom the next day and they all couldn’t be nicer. The sweetest. I mean they’re from the South. Britney’s so polite, she kept calling me Miss Alyson, and I was like, ‘Oh my God don’t do that; that makes me feel old.’ And then you met Kevin. They were like any young couple. Very much in love, very touchy feely. As for the surprise aspect, guests were invited to what they thought was an engagement party, but turned out to be a wedding. No one knew, not even Britney’s mom. Remember KFed and Britney’s Juicy Couture tracksuits that said “MAIDS” and “PIMPS” on the back for the bridal party and groomsmen? Don’t worry, they didn’t actually get married in those. They changed into tuxedos. Fox says, That’s what they left the house in. They were in tuxedos and gowns. Everybody made such a big deal about that, but that’s what Juicy did for every celebrity who got married. They’d send them the cute little tracksuits. I asked Britney and Kevin what they wanted printed on the back, and Britney said, “Maids! Maids will be cute!” And it was. It was cute! And he said “Pimps” which was adorable… People are closed-minded. It was a joke, it was for fun. It was Juicy tracksuits! 10 years ago people would have given anything for a Juicy tracksuit. Yeah, I don’t know if “adorable” is the right word for a tracksuit that says “PIMPS” on the back. Now that Ms. Britney Spears is single again I wonder if she’s reminiscing about her wedding. Hopefully she’s not regretting her divorce, because marrying KFed was absolutely bonkers. I can’t think of a more respectful way to say that, sorry. Do you have a favorite celeb wedding? Gwyneth Paltrow: The Cursing Cook

-Gwyneth Paltrow tried to make us care about her adventures in baking by adding cutesy, swear-filled speech bubbles in the latest GOOP. It didn’t work. -I couldn’t even get through all of J.Lo and Iggy Azalea’s new video. Between this and “Anaconda,” … Continue reading → The post Gwyneth Paltrow: The Cursing Cook appeared first on Scandal Sheet.

Jessica Simpson is done having kids

Jessica Simpson and new husband Eric Johnson are parents to two adorable kids – 2-year-old Maxwell and 14-month-old Ace. However, don’t get to thinking that she wants some massive family and is just going to keep pumping the babies out. In fact, she’s pretty sure she’s done having kids now. From On Air With Ryan Seacrest: “Oh, we are done. I say we’re done. [But,] I don’t want to accidentally get pregnant one day and then that poor kid feels like it wasn’t meant to be or something. We’ve got the girl and we’ve got the boy.” From your mouth to God’s ears, girl. Given how close the other two were together, I have a feeling that “accidental pregnancy” is something that’s in the cards again for her at some point in the future. And hey, fair enough – she can afford to raise them (or to pay someone else to do so). Live it up! Follow us on Twitter | Facebook

Lauren Conrad had 10 bridesmaids at her wedding

Welp, if we’re going for excessive, Lauren Conrad seems to have got it down to an art. Turns out, at her wedding to William Tell (seriously) earlier this month, her bridal party consisted of – get this – TEN bridesmaids. Yes, 10. T-E-N. I don’t know about you, but I can barely think of ten people I’d want at my wedding, let alone ten people I’d want to have to coordinate outfits with and arrange along the altar. But hey, to each her own. Lauren revealed what led to her decision in a new blog post, as you do: After William and I got engaged and the wedding planning began, I had a very important decision to make; I needed to choose who would stand up with me while I said, “I do”. For me, choosing my bridesmaids (and then asking them to be in my wedding party) was one of the most fun parts of the planning process. I’m so lucky to have a group of besties that I love dearly, and I wanted each and every one of them up there with me on my big day. When it came time to choose my ‘maids, my motto was the more the merrier. I didn’t mind the idea of having a large bridal party… to a point (you don’t want more people standing up than in seats!). It really is a personal preference, and I knew that having a bigger bridal party with all of my best friends was the way to go. So, I chose my sister and a bunch of my besties to do me the honor of being my bridesmaids, and I couldn’t be happier with my decision. If you do have a larger bridal party like I do (I have 10 bridesmaids!), there are some logistical things that you’ll have to take into consideration. Is there enough room for all of your ‘maids to stand up with you? If the answer is no, you don’t necessarily need to cut down your list of bridesmaids, in my opinion. You can simply have them sit in the front row! One lesson I’ve learned about planning a wedding is that the bride and groom should do things however they want. Some rules are meant to be broken, right? I mean, hey, sure why not. If you’ve got several close friends and endless amounts of money to work with, throwing them all up at the altar with you seems like a lot more pleasant than having to deal with butthurt feelings from those you didn’t pick. I can dig that. That being said, I also really dig the colour palette she chose for the wedding. I know those soft pinks and taupes are pretty common, but they’re rather lovely, I think.
