As we’ve discussed, it’s not like David and Victoria Beckham woke up last month and decided to start beefing with Brooklyn Beckham and Nicola Peltz. There has been a lot of drama between Brooklyn and his parents for years, ever since he married Nicola in 2022. There were multiple stories about Nicola and Victoria falling out around the wedding, but those rumors subsided after some time went by, and the Peltz-Beckhams seemingly buried the hatchet with the Beckhams, or at least achieved some kind of Cold War stand-off. But the Peltz-Beckhams skipped David’s 50th birthday celebrations, and that’s why there has been WEEKS of nonstop sniping back and forth between the two camps. Hilariously, some unnamed sources decided to go to People Magazine with a story from 2022 – a story about an incident at Nicola and Brooklyn’s wedding. An incident involving Victoria.

There’s currently no love lost between Brooklyn Beckham, 26, and his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, a source close to the Peltz family tells PEOPLE, just days after Brooklyn posted a cryptic message on Instagram stating that he’d “always choose” his wife.

The source says tensions between the couple finally came to a head after Victoria, 51, allegedly hijacked the first dance at Brooklyn’s 2022 Palm Beach wedding to actress Nicola Peltz, 30 — even though the couple had been planning on dancing to the song together.

“Marc Anthony, who is a friend of the Beckhams, offered to perform as a gift at the wedding,” the source explains. “Before the song began, Marc Anthony asked Brooklyn to come to the stage, and then announced, ‘The most beautiful woman in the room tonight, come on up…Victoria Beckham!’”

The source claims that the new bride allegedly “felt that Victoria ruined her wedding, and couldn’t understand why.” A second insider adds that the entire room was so shocked that Anthony called Victoria’s name over Nicola’s that a complete silence followed. “It was such a jaw-dropping moment that it left the whole room in absolute shock — you could hear a pin drop,” the second source adds.

Guests were allegedly even more surprised when Victoria began slow dancing with her son.

“It wasn’t appropriate,” the source says of the moment, adding that everyone then saw “Nicola run from the room crying.”

“Nicola felt like Victoria did this on purpose, when she knew it was a pre-planned romantic dance meant for Brooklyn and Nicola. What she couldn’t understand was why.”

Another insider familiar with the matter says the dance debacle has been part of a pattern of an ongoing rift, claiming that Brooklyn and Nicola have been trying their best to remain on friendly terms with the duo. “They’ve tried to make peace, but every time they finally have a happy moment, it all falls apart again,” the insider says. The insider adds, “Brooklyn feels torn. It’s his family and blood, but he’s always had a complicated relationship with his dad. A lot of their relationship has felt like ‘business.’”

I laughed! Marc Anthony is a shady B. If he decided to do that on his own, that is. To get up at a wedding and call the mother of the groom “the most beautiful woman in the room” is such a hilarious wedding fail though. And Victoria slow-dancing with Brooklyn for the first dance of the night… my god. In America, the more conservative wedding tradition is that the father of the bride dances with his daughter for the first dance, then the groom cuts in and the father and groom shake hands or something. Maybe the British tradition is “the groom’s psycho mother demands the first dance while the bride runs out of the room in tears.” I remember Nicola talking about how she and her mom had very specific ideas about the wedding planning, and her mom was very involved in everything. I wonder what the Peltz family thought of the Beckhams at the wedding.

Also: It’s worth noting that People Mag ran this story as an exclusive, and I can only imagine this is the work of Nicola and her publicist. Hours after People’s exclusive came out, Page Six ran their own exclusive, in which “sources” close to both Nicola and Victoria argued about what really happened at the wedding. Team Posh claims that yes, Victoria and Brooklyn did dance at the wedding but it wasn’t the first dance and everything had been coordinated ahead of time (except for the part about Marc Anthony calling Posh the most beautiful woman in the room). But Team Peltz maintains that Victoria behaved inappropriately and made Nicola cry.

In April, for their 14th wedding anniversary, the Prince and Princess of Wales visited the Scottish isles of Mull and Iona. They stayed overnight at some local B&B and they posed outdoors exclusively. Kate groped William’s bum for photographers and royal reporters dutifully wrote glowing articles about how William and Kate are happier than ever. Later, we learned that Kate and William brought along a videographer who captured some footage which was then spliced into Kate’s “annoying, grating and patronizing” Four Seasons video. Well, as it turns out, W&K didn’t just bring a videographer – they also brought a private photographer. Josh Shinner has been taking some portraits of Kate and her kids in recent years, and Shinner was along for the trip too, and he was tasked with taking at least one portrait of Kate.

Kate Middleton posed for a portrait on a recent “sunny and leafy stroll,” but instead of flashing her famous smile for the camera, she showed a different side to herself. On May 29, photographer Josh Shinner — who has gotten behind the camera on several occasions for the Princess of Wales’ family before, including Prince Louis’ recent 7th birthday portrait — shared a portrait of Kate on his Instagram page.

“Excellent company for a sunny and leafy stroll… Thanks @princeandprincessofwales,” he captioned the post.

The striking shot was first released earlier this month in connection with the news that a rose had been named in Princess Kate’s honor by the Royal Horticultural Society, and it was taken on the Isle of Mull during a recent visit. Kate and Prince William headed to the Scottish island at the end of April, and the Princess of Wales appeared in the photo wearing the same outfit she wore for their royal engagement of meeting the rangers at the Ardura Community Forest, who play a vital role in local conservation.

The image shows the royal with her arms crossed, showing the engagement ring previously worn by Princess Diana, and staring directly at the camera. Instead of a full smile, Kate gave a slight smirk as she took in the outdoor setting.

It really is a different side to Kate – when she sees a camera, she usually gawps or freeze-laughs while flapping her jazz hands. The awkwardness of her body language in the portrait makes me wonder if Shinner asked her to do something different, like put down the jazz hands and position herself so that everyone could see Big Blue. I don’t even think Kate is “smirking” – that looks like her RBF. Anyway, Will and Kate really did bring a lot of people on this anniversary trip! This week, the Duchess of Sussex posted the above photo to her As Ever Instagram with the message: “The unofficial quality inspector of this morning’s garden haul.” As you can see, Mia the Beagle is inspecting vegetables, and you can also see Meghan’s Loro Piana slides, which retail for about $920. Or they would retail for that amount if they weren’t selling out nearly everywhere since Meghan posted this photo. Obviously, Meghan’s haters don’t want to focus on how Meghan can sell out expensive slides just by posting a photo of her feet. The haters are focused on Meghan’s “garden haul.” Or rather, what looks like a Whole Foods haul, or perhaps a farmer’s market haul.

Royal fans are calling out Meghan Markle for allegedly lying about her green thumb on Instagram. The Duchess of Sussex, who rebranded her lifestyle brand from “American Riviera Orchard” to “As Ever” in February, posted a photo of her beagle sniffing a produce basket on the brand’s Instagram account.

“The unofficial quality inspector of this morning’s garden haul,” she captioned the photo, which featured her dog, Mia, burying her face in a woven basket of leeks, corn, broccoli, squash, red bell peppers, and carrots. Her caption suggested that the greens were hand-grown in her Southern California coastal garden. But fans were quick to point out something strange: Not only were the vegetables perfectly clean and free from any dirt, but the haul included produce that isn’t in season—in other words, the veggies looked like they were plucked straight from a Whole Foods aisle. Markle, 43, has her comments turned off on Instagram, but followers rushed to other social media platforms to express their doubts.

One Reddit user pointed out that corn was not in season in May—sweetcorn is usually harvested from June to September.

“She is also the only person outside of the US Cornbelt to harvest corn in MAY?” the poster asked. “It’s way too early in the season for most of those vegetables to be grown in her garden and ready to pick,” agreed another.

Other users noted that not only was there no dirt, but the corn and onions looked as if they had been cleaned and trimmed. “Huh. She’s so good at gardening she can grow all things from all seasons at once,” one said.

I love how every single one of Meghan’s IGs makes people’s heads explode. Like… breaking news, a lifestyle influencer stages photos for content on her Instagram. Do people think Meghan is just randomly hanging out in her garden and a photographer just happens to be passing by? Of course she stages and poses. As for Meghan’s “garden haul” – it’s possible that the veggies are from her garden and she just washed them. But for me, the dead giveaway is that the veggies are in a tote bag, not a wicker basket. She probably picked up some stuff at the farmer’s market, meaning those veggies came from someone’s garden! Also: the Daily Beast’s headline was “Meghan humiliated online.” Jesus take the wheel – how is this “humiliating” again?

Prince William will fly to Monaco next weekend for an environmental forum

It’s almost June and I just realized that there’s a suspicious lack of gossip around this year’s Trooping the Colour, which is scheduled for June 14th. Last year’s Trooping was a huge deal because it was the Princess of Wales’s first public event since Christmas. It was also King Charles’s first Trooping since being diagnosed with cancer. Even without last year’s dramatic storylines, I would have thought we would hear some kind of Trooping gossip this year, but I guess not. Instead, we’re getting this: a confirmation that Prince William plans to attend an environmental forum in Monaco two Sundays from now.

Prince William will travel to Monaco next weekend without Princess Kate for an environmental summit focused on ocean preservation. The Prince of Wales will attend the Blue Economy and Finance Forum at the Grimaldi Forum on Sunday, June 8.

He will be joining forces with Albert, Prince of Monaco, who will also be attending without his wife, Princess Charlene.

The Forum is organised by the Government of Monaco, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, and the Oceanographic Institute of Monaco, with support from France and Costa Rica. The two-day Forum, taking place from June 7 to 8, will bring together business leaders, Government representatives, multilateral institutions and stakeholders committed to restoring ocean health. The event focuses on ocean preservation and aims to accelerate the transition to a sustainable and regenerative blue economy.

I can’t wait for all of the snide stories about Prince William FLYING to an environmental summit and isn’t it just ghastly that a preachy and disgustingly woke environmentalist is such a raging hypocrite for all of those carbon emissions. And this forum could have been an email or a Zoom! Make sure you point that out in your coverage, Times of London. Honestly though, I wonder if William just decided to attend this forum a few days ago, right after Harry flew to Shanghai to give his speech at the big conference. It’s “taking meetings at the United Nations” all over again, isn’t it? Anything you can do, I can do worse, Harold!

The thing about Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness is that they were Australia’s golden couple for decades. Deborra was a famous actress within Australia when she met Hugh, who was at the time an up-and-coming talent but nowhere near as famous as Deb. When they got married, she pretty much retired from acting and she became a full-time mom and supportive wife to Hugh. Hugh and Deborra were friends with pretty much everyone in the Australian film/television/theater community. All of which means that Hugh and Deb’s divorce is huge news in Australia, a country with its own peculiar tabloid system. The Aussie tabloids are doing their own reporting on everything that’s gone down. Deborra issuing a statement about Hugh’s “betrayal” started all of this – the media can now freely report that Hugh left Deb for Sutton Foster, and they can position Deborra as a sainted and beloved figure who got dumped by Jackman (which is actually the truth, imo).

So, what’s the gossip in Australian media? There’s a lot of talk about money, and Aussie sources suggest that money was the biggest issue as Deb and Hugh negotiated their divorce. Reportedly, Deborra is happy that she is getting what she thinks she deserves, and she should have more than enough to support herself from here. Apparently, Hugh is keeping their New York penthouse, which has become a matter of contention because Hugh is apparently moving Sutton Foster into the penthouse. Reportedly, “Deb is shattered knowing Sutton is making the penthouse her own – the place she poured her soul into.” Meanwhile, never underestimate Jackman’s damage control. One of his friends conveniently gave an interview to an Australian radio show on Thursday:

Hugh Jackman’s childhood friend is opening up about the actor’s divorce following his ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness’ recent comments about “betrayal” in their marriage. While speaking on the Thursday, May 29 episode of Australia’s Ben Fordham Live breakfast radio show, Gus Worland — who said he’d known Jackman, 56, since kindergarten in 1973 — was asked about Furness’ statement, in which she reflected on the “breakdown of an almost three-decade marriage” and navigating the “traumatic journey of betrayal.”

The comments came after Furness filed for divorce on May 23, nearly two years after she and Jackman announced a seemingly amicable separation. TV and radio personality Worland said, “It’s not just that statement, but just the last couple of years have been difficult.”

“No one wants anyone to go through what they’ve been through, and, of course, they go through everything publicly because of the type of people and the fame that they have,” he added.

Worland continued, “One thing that I’ve been really strict on, or disciplined on … is to let them do what they’ve had to do. I was over in New York with [Jackman] just last month and he’s fine. He is going along well. He’s moving on with his life and I hope that Deb does as well.”

He added that he and Jackman were godparents to each other’s first children. The Greatest Showman actor and Furness, 69, share two kids together: Oscar, 25, and Ava, 19. Worland, who said it was “a long, long time” that the couple were together, continued on the radio show, “I just go to the kids and go, ‘What can we do to make sure that they’re going to get through this as well as possible?’”

“He’s moving on with his life and I hope that Deb does as well.” Yeah, we’ve all seen Jackman moving on with his life in the exclusive People Magazine photos with Sutton Foster. Jackman’s team is positioning Deb, his wife of 27 years, as someone who refuses to “move on.” All because Deb spoke about how difficult it’s been to navigate a divorce from someone who betrayed her. Anyway, the more damage control Jackman does, the sleazier I find him.

Zachary Levi: ‘L.A. has become the Detroit of the entertainment industry’

In early 2023, most people (myself included) learned that Zachary Levi is a hardcore Evangelical who is also anti-vaccine. At the time, he was not full MAGA, but last fall, he ended up endorsing Donald Trump, Robert Kennedy Jr. and Tulsi Gabbard (arguably the three horsemen of the apocalypse). Many people “canceled” Levi back in 2023, but the Trump/Kennedy endorsements really made Levi persona non grata with much of Hollywood. Well, Levi is apparently enjoying the second Trump administration, and he has big plans to build his own “studio” in Austin, Texas. He recently spoke to Variety about all of this and more. Some highlights:

His plans for a Texas studio: He’s about to embark on a risky plan to launch a Hollywood studio in Austin, Texas — incidentally, a mecca for entertainment industry foes of the jab like Joe Rogan and Woody Harrelson. While Rogan is untouchable as Spotify’s golden goose podcaster and Harrelson gets a pass because he only strays from Hollywood orthodoxy on the vaccine issue, Levi is particularly vulnerable; his career was already cooling before he spoke out. And soon, he will have another mouth to feed. As we meet at a Brentwood café in March, Levi is days away from becoming a father for the first time. He has just finished prepping for a home birth at the Ventura, California, abode he shares with his partner, photographer Maggie Keating.

He still has Hollywood representation?? “I know that there are people that would prefer not to work with me now because of my opinions. My team has let me know,” he says as he nods in the direction of Beverly Hills, where his agents at UTA are headquartered. “They haven’t given me any specific names, but there are people who prefer not to work with me at this time. And it’s unfortunate. I knew that was probably going to happen. I didn’t make this decision blindly or casually.”

LA has become the new Detroit: His status as persona non grata in Hollywood hardly matters to him. The town is bleeding amid runaway production, audience apathy and a widening gap between the 1% and the industry’s rank and file. Given that bleak outlook, Levi says, in characteristically impolitic terms, that he’d rather opt out. “AI is about to be the nail in the coffin,” he notes. “And we wonder why L.A. has become the Detroit of the entertainment industry.”

His thoughts on Trump: In 2016, he voted for Libertarian Party candidate Gary Johnson and urged his social media followers to not pull the lever for Trump because he didn’t care “about anything but power.” “I was not a fan of Trump’s Trumpiness,” he explains of the man he’s never met. “I didn’t like a lot of these personal things, the ways that he carries himself a lot of the time. I understand people’s aversion. Do I think the whole package is somehow perfect? No. In fact, most people who voted for Donald Trump recognize a lot of the imperfections in all of it. Nobody was saying, ‘This is the Orange Messiah.’”

The rise of the MAGA cult and the destruction of American ideals have given people like Zachary Levi an inflated sense of their own importance. Levi is positioning himself as someone who ran afoul of Hollywood’s major players, people who cared enough to send Levi packing. Levi was a has-been before all of this anti-vaxx and Trump-supporting sh-t even started – once he revealed his politics, it was easy for most people to shrug and say “yeah, I never cared either way, but now I know that he sucks.” What also sucks is that Levi is legitimately cozying up to people (Trumpers) who will help him get his sh-t off the ground, in a way that no one would have bothered if he was just another has-been actor. Almost as if Levi’s MAGAness is more of a business strategy. As for what he says about the Cheeto… people actually do think and say that Trump is the Orange Messiah.
