What’s that smell? Oh, it’s just the new Kmart Ship My Pants commercial. Full of poop humor, which totally makes you want to go buy a pair of pants at Kmart. A pair of shit stained, tainted, soiled, dirty pair of poop pants.
The commercial opens with a customer talking with a Kmart employee. There’s an awkward pause at the beginning, then the customer says, “Ship my pants? Right here?” Of course it TOTALLY sounds like he’s making doodie talk.
From there it gets worse, with husbands, wives, children and grandparents declaring how “shipping” their pants was the greatest thing they’ve ever done. But they aren’t just shipping their pants, they’re shipping their drawers, their nightgowns and their beds too. I always like to think of my department store purchases as being poo-friendly.
Hilarious? Yes, but it’s also one big bag of steaming WTF. I can’t imagine any brand ever wanting their name and/or products being in poop jokes, let alone an entire commercial. But hey, I think Kmart is struggling financially these days, so maybe lend them a hand and go ship yourself a brand new pair of poop pants.
