Here are some new photos of Gwyneth Paltrow in Chicago on Saturday night. She was honored at the Gene Siskel Film Center – she received the Renaissance Award for…? I guess her film work. I would imagine that she got the award for her body of work, not for her most recent role as Pepper Potts in Iron Man 3.
Gwyneth wore this white Alexander McQueen dress for her honor, and as you can see, it was super-cold in Chicago. My goodness! Do you think Goop just didn’t feel like wearing a bra to her award ceremony? I also have to say, I really do think Gwyneth got implants after she had her kids. She got small, perky implants after breastfeeding, which is okay in Gwyneth’s mind – she once said in an interview that getting implants after breastfeeding was perfectly acceptable to her. I think that’s what happened. As for the dress, it’s really uneventful. I don’t get why there’s a mock turtleneck? WHY? Don’t tell me Goop is trying to bring mock t-necks into style.
Also, do you remember how Page Six said that Vanity Fair wanted to do a story about Gwyneth and her business dealings, and sources claimed Gwyneth was asking people not to talk to VF? LaineyGossip had more details about that last week – Lainey’s sources confirmed that VF is definitely working on a story about Goop for the September issue and Gwyneth has refused to speak to them because she thinks VF is “off-brand” for her. Um… Gwyneth JUST gave an interview to THE DAILY MAIL not two months ago. The Daily Mail is fine but VF is a no-go? Anyway, since VF is doing this without Gwyneth’s approval, the story will probably end up a “slam piece” about why Gwyneth is so “polarizing”. I can’t wait.
PS… for the love of Goop, stop with the flat-ironing and the center part. STOP.
