Do you think a Boston Marathon Halloween costume is in poor taste this year? Your answer is probably ‘yes,’ especially if the Halloween costume is of a victim of the Boston bombing that occurred earlier this year.
Alicia Ann Lynch of Michigan, 22, obviously wasn’t thinking when she went to work dressed as a Boston Marathon bombing victim. And she REALLY wasn’t thinking when she posted a photo of herself in costume on Twitter.
People on Twitter berated Alicia for being insensitive, and one of those people was an actual Boston Marathon victim.
Sydney Corcoran, victim, tweeted back to Alicia:
@SomeSKANKinMI You should be ashamed, my mother lost both her legs and I almost died in the marathon. You need a filter.

Alicia lost her job after people on the internet found her personal information (she stupidly posted a pic of her driver’s license at some point) and harassed her employer.
Do you think the costume was in poor taste – or is all fair on Halloween?
