Twenty cancer patients were selected by the French cancer organization The Mimi Foundation to receive makeovers. But not the sort of makeover you would expect.
Overwhelmed by worry, stress and a loss of their freedom, these 20 people got to experience a makeover that would make them forget their illness, ‘If Only For A Second.’

‘If Only For A Second’ is a 3:44 long video that documents these cancer patients makeovers and their big reveal. Told to close their eyes through the entire makeover process, they have no idea they are about to see themselves as never before. Each person is seated in front of a one-way mirror, with a photographer on the opposite side. As they open their eyes, he captures that moment when they are carefree, and free of their cancer.
