Every man in my life is gearing up for the big game this weekend. Meanwhile, every girl I know is talking about how we deal with being totally ignored all day by watching the bazillion dollar commercials during the Superbowl. Some years the ads are actually more exciting than the game.
I’m hoping this year is no exception. I try to stay away from spoilers for the Superbowl ads so I can enjoy them during the game. But this year I’ve already had a sneak peek at this hilarious new AXE spot for their new Apollo line.
It’s true. Nothing beats an astronaut. Ever. Seriously. I still have a crush on Tony Nelson.
Google it kids.
The launch of the Apollo line of products is the biggest in the company’s 30 year history. AXE will premiere a :30-second television commercial titled “Lifeguard” on Sunday during the third quarter of Super Bowl XLVII.
Visit YouTube.com/AXE to enter a contest by this Sunday to win a trip to space (along with 22 others to be selected from Axe consumers entering the contest later) on a flight with international space agency Space Expedition Corporation (SXC). Yep. A freakin trip to SPACE.
You aren’t going to get that from any other Superbowl commercial.
If you happen to be lucky enough to be in New Orleans for the Superbowl this year, don’t be surprised if you see AXE Astronauts on the red carpets of the hottest parties including ESPN, Maxim, Rolling Stone and One Oak.
Looks like they’ve already been all over….just hanging out being all cool and astronaughty.
