Beth Ditto, lead singer of The Gossip, was arrested in Portland on Friday for “disorderly conduct.” Translation: girl was blackout drunk and violent in public.
Ms. Ditto’s classy evening began at The Bungalo Bar where she was allegedly kicked out for being “too drunk.” Then we get into Amanda Bynes territory. Apparently after being ejected, she ran out into the street, threw off her shoes, and shouted, “Obama! Obama!”
Shit got real and the police arrived. The Metro posted this witness account from Reddit:
By 1:30 Beth was completely blackout drunk challenging people to fights. My friends and I headed over to the Bungalow from the Alibi only to be met with Beth’s belligerent asshole posse. We got our drinks and went out to the back, only to hear her and her friends breaking shit. Fifteen minutes later she was arrested for being a complete f-cking c***. The bartender called the police because she kicked him in balls.
Dude, not cool. If any of this goes to trial, worst case scenario is she could get up to six months in jail and a fine of £1,600 (about $2,415.)
So bizarre.
