Sure, George Clooney is reportedly of Irish, German, and English decent, but are we missing the fact that he’s of Italian heritage too? Maybe, maybe not (probably not), but he is apparently loved by the people of Italy, or at the very least by pizza lovers. So much so that his handsome face has been spotted on a cartoonish chef’s body on pizza boxes in the town of Haslach, Germany!
For some this is nothing new because ol’ Georgy has supposedly been the cover art for pizza boxes for a long time, all over the world. After Jezebel pointed out the pie box Clooney look-alike, one commenter responded, “Are you kidding me?!!! I bought this same pizza box from a place in Val d’Isere, France (a skiing village) a couple of years ago and posted a photo to FB immediately. Thought it was the funniest thing ever.”
Another reader mentioned that they saw the box a couple years ago in the Czech Republic, while yet another spotted it one in Bosnia, noting that the box appeared to be made in Italy.
I’m all for this because I love me some pizza and a Clooney face on top of the box makes me love it more!
