An Olivia Wilde Justin Bieber Feud? We LOVE it!
If you missed it last week, Olivia Wilde gave some priceless advice to the Biebs, who has recently been photographed numerous times without a shirt on. She tweeted, “Bieber, put your f**king shirt on. (unless you lost all your shirts in a fire in which case my condolences and please purchase a new shirt.)”
Of course the joke infuriated the most hardcore Justin Bieber fans and girlfriend got some nasty, yet amusing backlash. One girl threatened the actress on Twitter writing; “I’ll punch you in your face.” Hahaha.
Well CNN caught up with her recently and asked her about the incident. She responded by joking, “I’m going to get attacked with acid, someone’s going to throw acid in my face. If that happens there are 35 million Beliebers that did it, so find them.”
She insists though that she meant no harm, saying, “You know, it’s something I’d say to my to my little brother, and I probably have said it. You know, just, ‘put your shirt on. It’s cold out there.’ I meant it with all the love in the world.”
“It’s pretty much the funniest thing that’s ever happened to me, because my twitter feed is filled with the most hilarious abuse.”
At least she has a good sense of humor about it all, you’d have to.
In other Wilde news, the actress currently stars in the SXSW movie Drinking Buddies, and not surprisingly, she got a lot of experience drinking. Like for realz.
In the film, she and Jake Johnson play coworkers at a brewery. Says Johnson of his co-star’s drinking ability: “She can throw them back.”
“I don’t know if that’s a compliment,” Wilde cut in. “I have a hollow leg, as my dad would say!”
The flick, which also stars Anna Kendrick, apparently contains a lot of booze drinking, and the making of it was no exception.
Says Kendrick: “I did some accidental on-set drinking actually. They’ve been handing me fake beers for the past couple of scenes and then I did a scene with Jake Johnson where we played a little card game, drinking game and I didn’t realize that they had handed me real beer.”
She continued: “So I kept losing this game. I had essentially shot-gunned two bears in a row and I’m very small. Did I look up and go ‘Wait, um, is this real beer? Yeah, I’m drunk at work.’ I guess it really wasn’t my fault.’”
Wow, it sounds like a lot of people’s dream job! Heh. The movie definitely looks funny, I’m going to have to catch that one.
