On Conan: Willie Nelson The Hobbit 2 Audition Reel (video)
Willie Nelson is always down for a good time, so when visiting Conan on his late night show, Willie made an audition reel for the upcoming movie, The Hobbit 2. He auditions for the role of Gandalf, of course. Willie jokes that it is HE who should be hired to play the wizard and not Ian McKellan.
“Hey, Peter Jackson, my name’s Willie Nelson and I want to audition for the role of Gandalf, the wizard, in that upcoming movie you’ve got called The Hobbit.”
Then he begins, in character, as Gandalf. Some of his lines are as follows:
“Hey, look at that dragon!”
“You shall not pass an unlit joint, man, that’s just not cool.”
“You know that giant flaming eye is just freaking me the f— out.”
In related news, Willie Nelson’s 80th birthday is Tuesday. I wonder how he will celebrate?
