‘Carrie’ Prank Scares the Hell Out of Coffee Shop Customers

Carrie Prank Telekinetic Powers NYC Coffee Shop

Don't mess with a Carrie
In anticipation of the upcoming remake of the 1976 film, Carrie, Sony's marketing masterminds concocted a brilliant prank to play on some unsuspecting coffee shop customers.

What if telekinesis was real? How would you react? Our hidden camera experiment captures the reactions of unsuspecting customers at a New York City coffee shop as they witness a telekinetic event.

I love, love, love this prank! How hilarious would it have been to be there? Some people wouldn’t think it was funny at all, but I would have killed to be there. We weren’t there, but we can at least enjoy this genius prank as it was captured on video.

The ‘Carrie’ prank was recently shot at Snice Coffee Shop in West Village, NYC. Sony installed a fake brick wall where a stuntman would float toward the ceiling as the ‘Carrie’ character summons her telekinetic powers.

What would have reacted had you witnessed the Carrie prank?
