Joan Rivers is famous for criticizing and making fun of almost every celebrity that doesn’t conform to the Hollywood skinny standard – last year, Adele was the target and now it’s Girls star Lena Dunham.
On how Lena is sending the wrong message to people by being ‘fat’:
“You’re sending a message to people saying, ‘It’s OK! Stay fat! Get diabetes. Everybody die. Lose your fingers. If you like the way you look, Lena, and that’s fine and you’re funny, don’t say it’s ok that other girls look like this. Try to look better.”
