I don’t watch Keeping Up With The Kardashians and really try and avoid reading and writing about the family at all if I can help it, so I really wasn’t aware that Kris Jenner might have a drinking problem.
According to In Touch, mama Kardouchian/mama Jenner is rarely seen without a cocktail and has frequently made a drunken ass out of herself, embarrassing herself and her family. So much so that her six children have begged her to quit drinking.
A source close to the K clan had this to say: “She sometimes drinks at work and in the morning, and she always jokes about having her vodka and wine ready for her when she arrives at an event or at home. She needs help.”
Apparently this is nothing new. She was known to be a major drinker even back in the day when she was married to her first husband, Robert Kardashian. Story goes she used to take off for long periods of time so she could party hard.
Robert Kardashian’s widow, Ellen Kardashian told the magazine: “I know her partying and drinking was a big issue in their marriage. He thought she had a problem with alcohol because she would drink in such excess. He worried about the children.”
For a family that televises their life to the world is it any surprise that Kris’ family would openly tweet about their mom being a lush? No. Here’s a small sample of Twitter posts daughter Khloe tweeted about her in the past:
Last year, after her mom fell into the pool while on vacation Khloe wrote: “I think my mom is definitely drunk already. She is just such a freak.”
While attending a Clippers game recently, she tweeted: “My mom is f**king drunk…what’s new!”
Joking aside, the fam is really worried. The insider adds: “The kids just don’t know what to do. Maybe the only thing they can do is to wait for her to hit rock bottom.”
I’ve heard that Kim Kardashian doesn’t even drink alcohol and obviously right now she wouldn’t be because she’s preggers, but I wonder if that’s one of the reasons she doesn’t. Kids of alcoholics seem to usually go in extremes either way. Either they drink a lot, or not at all.
